They sold me a product online that they…

They sold me a product online that they had no stock of and then I have had to email there support centre more than 12 times with most of my emails being ignored to try and get a refund for the out of stock item.
When I finally got a refund it was for the incorrect amount and they have ignored all my contact attempts since then. Disgusting customer service and fraudulent sales practices.

MEGA SPAM!!

Expect a MASSIVE amount of spam from these guys up to 5! emails in ONE DAY!
I have never purchased from them and now NEVER will. I signed up for their Emails expecting 1 a week maybe so in a few months when I want to buy about $6,000 worth of stuff I could go back to them. I never expected to get 5 or more emails in a day!

Warranty / Service

I purchased a 100 slimline lithium battery only to have it fail. I will give to the store they did exchange it.
However the new has the same issue.
I returned it to Brendale store on Saturday the 19th July 2025 they stated it would be resolved by the coming Tuesday 22nd July that date has passed along with 3 phone calls and still no result

READ THE RETURN POLICY !!

We have purchased many items from 4wd supacentre and most times it's been a positive experience. However, after doing our homework regarding replacing batteries in our van, and believing with the information we had, these were correct, we purchased 2 lithium batteries and boxes. However, further information we received indicated the wiring in the van would not be compatible. We drove the 1.5hr to the closest store. The boxes were still unopened, explained the situation and wanted to return them for a refund. WRONG! There is a no refund policy only store credit. $670, which is a substantial cost for us, and told definitely no refund for "change of mind". This is a broad consumer term which 4wd supacentre choose to use. This store is not about customer satisfaction, it is about this company holding on to your money. We did NOT change out mind...the product we believed was correct, was not. Now we're stuck with HAVING to purchase more from this store when there is certainly nothing over $600 worth of items that we need or want from them. We just wanted our money back. Apparently they are in their rights according to their refund policy but in all the years of shopping, I'm in my mid 60s, I have NEVER come across this. I will not be shopping at this store again. Consumer beware because they sell all of these products off the shelf and it is totally up to you to know the ins and outs of compatibility, usage etc on all of their products because you won't get you money back if it's not suitable. Customer satisfaction...zero.

No Customer Service

Never go to 4WD Supacentre I purchased over $2000 of products from them on the same day, 1 of the products did not fit and they refuse to allow me to return the product as it has been open. They sent me to the distribution centre to collect another item over 2hour round trip to be told when I got there they were closing and refused to help. They are cheap and nasty in product and customer service, pay extra and go elsewhere for peace of mind.

Poor post sales service

4wd SC emailed me and asked for this review.

My sorry story- I purchased items for my sons 18th. He crashed, and wrote off, his 4wd a couple of days before his birthday. I wrote to enquire about a refund in these not so common circumstances. 4wd SC, not interested- they do pay staff to answer emails and deflect customers from seeking to have a refund. I received best wishes for our family, but still they would only offer a store credit, which, of course, is useless to a family without a 4wd.

I understand that is all in the terms and conditions, and they haven't done anything wrong. However, showing a little empathy once in while goes a long way to a positive customer experience, and developing trust and consumer respect.

They advertise a 30 day return policy which is woefully sub-par compared to most modern Australian retailers. No refunds, only a credit and then less 10% restocking charge to cover staff time to process the return.

I wish I could have claimed a 10% collection fee to cover my time, whilst I stood there like a t*** for 20 minutes waiting for a staff member to wander round the store picking all the items in my "ready" click and collect order.

I wrote to them and politely requested that someone with perhaps a little more positional authority could look at my claim, hoping for a little sympathy.

The "don't let anyone have a refund" Department budget only stretches to a single response, it would seem.

Avoid like you would the plague

I have been left absolutely pissed off angry and frustrated
I paid for goods I can’t even get so I want my money back not only for what I’ve paid for and they won’t give me but what I still have at the store waiting for me to pick up as well as stuff that I still have here that is unopened and undamaged I want my money back for it all
But iv been told I will not get my money back. I will only get a store credit. I don’t want a store credit. I don’t want to spend one more cent with these people. I just want my money back and I am going to fight for it and until I do get my money back I will go onto every social media website there is every single day
Avoid 4WD supercentre like you would the plague. It’ll save you so much stress in anger.
