I've purchased a few things from 5ktoys…
I've purchased a few things from 5ktoys in the past with no issues, however, that all changed regarding my latest purchase. I recieved a faulty item from them. I emailed them regarding the issue and they emailed me back telling me that they can get a replacement part for the item from the manufacturer that can take up to a month or 2. I agreed and patiently waited 2 months with no word from them. So I emailed them asking for an update and they informed me that the manufacturer hasn't gotten back to them. So I proceeded to wait another month and when I didn't hear back from them I emailed them again asking for an update. They told me the same thing. So I proceeded to wait another month, that's 4 months total, and once again I didn't hear back from them. I emailed them a 3rd time and they said the same thing. At that point I was over the fact of trying to get a replacement and preferred to send the item back for a full refund. When I requested a refund they denied, and offered me a partial refund of $12. The item I purchased was $86 not including shipping cost. I refused the partial refund of $12 and kindly requested that I return the item for a full refund. They replied back saying that, being that I'm in Canada and they're based in the US, shipping cost will exceed the total cost of the item and so basically returning it isn't an option and offered me another partial refund of $30 this time. Take it from someone who ships things to the US on a daily basis, never in my life have I ever heard of a little tiny 6-7" action figure cost over $86 to ship. I explained that to them and kindly refused their partial refund. At the end of the day, I the buyer didn't receive exacly what I purchased. The action figure came with a faulty part that they weren't able to get replaced and I patiently waited 4 months for them to make it right. After the last email I sent, I stopped hearing from from them. A month has gone by since that last email, I've sent 3 more emails to them and they haven't replied back to any. Terrible customer service, they clearly don't care about their customers and refuse to make a wrong a right. I have requested to cancel all remaining pre orders with them and I will no longer give them my business. I would suggest you stay clear of them. There are many other online retailers you can order from who carry the exact same products that they do. Save yourself the headache, don't support a company like 5ktoys who don't respect their customers.
