excellent all round

Tried the 'free sample' service for wordpress hosting, was pleased with the speeds and simplicity of setup. Ran out of space quite quickly (fair enough - its free after all) so decided I would upgrade to 'paid for' service. On return to site to upgrade got a 'bandwidth exceed' page ... so bit of a catch 22 really ... couldnt upgrade if id wanted too ... I appreciate its a free sample. but if the free sample lets one down after only 2 hours of minimal use ... :(

I had a few obscure queries before I signed up so contacted 5quidhost support. They understood exactly what I was asking and provided fast, comprehensive and accurate answers.

Configuration is easy and uses traditional cPanel. My previous hoster moved away from cPanel to something that was more akin to a "buy another upgrade" tool.

5quidhost provide honest simple to understand configuration with no hidden costs.

Found the whole process quite easy apart from configuring the Domain Site. It was hard to relate the information in the welcome email to the sections that needed changing to point to the host site and this was with the recommended domain service. The Wordpress installation was quite easy and the control panel is easy to navigate, starting from level zero experience I was able to get going reasonably quickly once I had sorted the DNS set up out

My (old) account needed to be migrated to s new server in order to get the latest version of Joomla. 5quidhost did this for me very quickly even though I had asked at a weekend. Very helpful when setting up a new account too. Highly recommendable.
