Excellent support and help in easy-to-understand language!

Was dreading setting up my domain name and linking it to my newly-bought webspace but 5quidhost made it so much easier by not only replying super quick to my emails (we are talking just minutes!) but also explaining what I needed to do in laymans terms that even I could understand. Definitely a five star service that I have not experienced from a company in years. An old fashioned customer based service that should be a lot more prevalent than it is........

Free Service ideal for simply personal website need

The email explaining what to do, how to do it and pointing me in the right direction for any questions I had was great. Easy to use service, easy to sign up, transfer the hosting and generally manage online.

I would recommend to others who do not want to pay for hosting a small and simple website, but there is the option to upgrade if required.

Ideal starting solution.

Good value hosting for 2 sites

Only just joined 5QuidHost.com and so far I have found them very good. £12 for 1 years hosting for my 2 sites.

fyldecoastramblers.co.uk
I have 1 minutes checks to see if they go offline and so far they have been up100% of the time.

Great service

I'm a freelance web designer and developer and I've been using 5quidhosts as my go to web hosting provider for about five years now.

The hosting they provide is some of the most competitively priced around and their support has always been top notch.

I highly recommend them to anyone looking for cheap, reliable, well supported web hosting.

Lots of options at great prices, great support

I've used 5quidhost for a number of clients with relatively contained website requirements. They offer quick set up, a wide range of products for all pockets, and for paid services their support has always been knowledgeable and responsive. Considering the price, they're spot on.
The no-frills website and support takes a bit of getting used to, and they prefer email support to phone (don't we all), but there's nothing wrong with that as long as it doesn't lead to indifference and being ignored. So far though they have been great (experience of around 4 years use), and for small businesses with undemanding needs are as good as I've found.
Which doesn't mean they aren't great for GREAT BIG websites and demands, just I haven't had to find that out yet.
My main challenge with 5quidhost is that handing over to a client after buying the first year's hosting and setting up the site becomes a bit bothersome because there's no 'account login' where you can easily make changes to contact details as far as I can see. That's the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. If you are a business buying hosting for yourself you won't have this challenge.

Solid hosting for free

This looks to be solid UK hosting
Certainly prompt responses to email and a problem I had with details I had given (my mistake)
Compared to the countless I have tried in the past this stands out.
Good luck to you guys.

Changed my host effortlessly

I recently had a problem with a secure form on a website with another hosting company. They were useless at sorting out the problem, so I switched to 5quidhost and everything worked immediately. They could not have been more helpful.

Easy and Supportive - Great Value

The ordering process was very straight forward. I raised a support call to help me with a concern I had on the migration and a competent technician called me back promptly - and I'm paying just £1 a month for hosting.

No issues and very affordable

As the title states, I have had no issues whatsoever setting up my hosting and in the short time it's been running there have been no problems.

For the less technically minded the CPanel may seem complex compared to that of the standard 123 or GoDaddy control panels but it won't take long to adjust to and is worth the switch.

I have nothing bad to say about them so 5 stars it is!
