Very disappointed with my experience purchasing a vehicle from 720 Performance Ltd.

I purchased a Land Rover Discovery 4 from this dealer in May 2025. Within days of collecting the vehicle, it developed serious mechanical issues, including steering vibration, pulling to one side under braking, and a loud clunk when changing gear. An independent Land Rover specialist confirmed that the front control arms were defective and the rear propshaft bearing had failed, both of which made the vehicle unsafe to drive.

Despite notifying the dealer immediately, they refused to take full responsibility or reimburse the full cost of the essential repairs. They only made a small partial payment (£477), even though the faults were clearly present at the point of sale.

I have since had to escalate the matter through Paragon Bank, the Financial Ombudsman Service, and Trading Standards. The experience has been extremely frustrating and time-consuming, and I would urge anyone considering buying a vehicle here to proceed with caution and ensure everything is independently inspected before purchase.

Very impressed with this company. We received a good sale price for our car, it was collected as arranged and all the paperwork was taken care of right away. Nice, reliable people to deal with too.

A great experience buying a Mercedes a couple of months ago.

We originally went to see a mini which we saw advertised on auto trader. After looking at their website we found a lovely Mercedes which was slightly outside of our budget. When viewing the car we fell in love with the car.

The car had 7 months mot left however for extra piece of mind they got the car a new mot with no time wasted and took in our part exchange and gave us what we wanted for it.

We have had the car a few months now and truly love it. A great purchase on our end and brilliant service from the salesman we dealt with. Thank you.

Couldn’t fault this car dealer. We were looking to upgrade my first car to something better and we came across this garage. Booking to come and view the car we liked was very easy and Jack replied very quickly. Jack sent the car for service, MOT and valeting promptly and when a small issue was flagged by the garage Jack instructed them to fix for us at the same time. Picking up the car was smooth and we were reassured with Jack’s great customer service once again. I would definitely recommend this dealer to my family and friends. I’m very greatful for all his help making this experience good.
