Love my new shoes. Very comfortable. After running in the mud, I quickly washed them with warm water everything washed off. I recommend!

The only reason I am giving 4 stars is, the shoes didn't fit me. I'm really disappointed about that, but they provide exceptional customer service, which was greatly appreciated. I'm still a huge fan of this company and will continue to watch for new products that might work better for me.

Excellent customer service - sent me the next size to try and compare with the ones I bought. When I returned the pair I didn't need, I by mistake paid the courier service and they refunded my money. The shoes are very, very comfortable and stable on the feet. Also truly waterproof. Just walked in the rain- no wet socks !

After a pair of decade old trainers of a non-sustainable label fell apart, I decided that I would have bought a new pair only if I found a sustainable brand that convinced me. I was looking for something that had a nice design (frankly I find that all sneakers are terribly ugly), that were sturdy, yet comfortable and most importantly water resistant. I wanted to make sure the material and the entire production was sustainable and by doing some research online I found 8000kicks. I read the story about Bernardo that was very inspiring. But the best comes later. I made my order and I realised that the size I chose would have been too tight (they have excellent charts also indicating the centimetres of your foot, which is what helped me figure out I had to change size). So I wrote to the help center where the lovely Sara was very prompt in blocking my order and making sure that there was no need to make a return: the shoe size was changed before dispatching my package. This way we managed to reduce the carbon footprint avoiding a back and forth of shoes. Sara really abides by her job title: Customer Happiness and Operations Manager. Now I’m merrily wandering and running around my city, proudly wearing my pair of 8000kicks that are as comfortable as slippers, but robust to all types of weather. They are very versatile since I’ve worn them both with casual and formal outfits. I truly recommend this amazing brand, and I’m doped only by my satisfaction as a customer, because as they explain on their website they are made of hemp but you can’t smoke them ;-)

I Love these shoes. They fit great and are made well. They are not the commercial trash we get in the US. All natural means a lot. Love them.

Have had mine for a little longer(The explorer model) than 6 months and the outer seam on both shoes have detached. The soles are so worn out that they are not even anymore and is missing pieces in spots. They are not water proof at all anymore. I like the idea of hemp shoes but for the price I expected more.

Edit: Very kind and helping support sorted me out with a new pair of their newer model the Seeker which Im looking forward to try and will update this review and give my thoughts!

With no exaggeration, the V2’s are the most comfortable and durable pair of shoes I have ever owned. I have taken them everywhere from errands to hiking trails without skipping a beat. Making them even more perfect is that they are made completely of sustainable and biodegradable materials. Genius!!

After wearing my first pair of Explorers for 2 weeks, constantly!.. I just ordered another pair and a gift pair for my sister’s birthday.

It’s full circle! You make a great shoe, w the best material, we care for the environment along the way (and under advice from grandma!) and I purchase said great shoes to fund the next day of this important cycle.

8000 kicks shoes are simply amazing: sustinable, durable and comfortable to wear in any occasion. And they really do not get dirty or wet, no matter what you do: I went on a 10 days vacation walking everyday on dusty terrain, on grass, under the rain, and the shoes were as clean as day one. I already recommended these shoes to all my friends!

After two washes the colour was off.
i followed the washing instructions, washing with a light sponge and soap. The blue shoes converted to grey-blue colour now the shoes look like old.
The beige-green shoes mixed into a light brown stain.
The worst is the help center answer.

Unfortunately, we can't return shoes that have been used. As you know dyes are one of the biggest sources of pollution in the fashion industry. Our natural dies are less aggressive on the environment but don’t stay as long in the fabric.

As a Sustainble brand we try to use dyes that are as natural as possible without harmful chemicals. By being less aggressive on the environment, we are also less aggressive on the textiles. This can result is faster color fastness of the fabrics, especially when the shoes are exposed to the elements, rain, wind, snow etc.

Also, hemp is a very challenging fabric, but we keep trying new dying techniques, and we have people with a lot of experience, including grandma Otilia, our co-founder, and with over 50y experience in textiles.

My shoes are a combination of hemp and algae foam which I love and assists my grounding practice. They are a nice wide fit and fit me very comfortably. Great initiative, efficient delivery and fabulous product! Well done!

Well, I feel like this is the first time in a very long time that I have felt what it’s like to have a good pair shoes. 8000 Kicks is at the top of the shoe market.

Great product, great customer support

The quality and design are great! What’s best is that they’re rain proof and that they’re sustainable. At first I was skeptical about how water proof it was, but it turned out to keep my feet dry as promised :)

I love the story behind the brand with the grandmother and son- so inspiring!

Both my husband and I are on our third pairs and can’t wait to choose our fourth pair around Christmas time.
