I am extremely disappointed with my…

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Monzo.

I first opened a Monzo account shortly after arriving in the UK in 2020. I later closed the account in 2021. In 2023, I successfully applied for a new Monzo account, which was approved. However, after approximately 6–9 months, the account was closed by Monzo without any explanation being provided to me.

In 2026, I secured a position with Teleperformance, a company providing customer support services for Monzo. After completing a week of training, I was informed that Monzo had carried out internal checks and that I had not passed those checks. As a result, I was removed from the role. Again, no clear reason was provided.

What makes this situation particularly frustrating is that I have maintained an excellent financial record in the UK. My Experian credit score is 999 out of 999, which demonstrates a strong credit history and responsible financial behaviour.

I fully understand that businesses have the right to make their own decisions regarding accounts and employment screening. However, the lack of transparency and the repeated decisions made without explanation have left me feeling unfairly treated and disappointed.

I would appreciate greater transparency regarding such decisions so that customers and applicants can better understand the reasons behind them and, where possible, address any concerns.

Overall, my experience with Monzo has been very disappointing due to the lack of communication and clarity surrounding both my account closure and employment-related screening outcome.

Good bank

I have been using Monzo for a better…

I have been using Monzo for a better part of 5 years. I feel that although it does not have physical branches but it does a lot more than a conventional bank. Having saving pots was on thing that really helped me. Now it's integration with other banks is something that seems really interesting.
Initially it was one of my accounts but has turned into my main bank account due to the services it offers.
