If I could do any negative numbers, I would choose them unfortunately one star is the lowest number I could choose. Horrible horrible company very unprofessional and not organized stay away from them. Find a better mover. I booked them three weeks out. Two days before my move, they asked if I could move from a Tuesday to a Wednesday against my better judgement I said yes and then on Wednesday I received a phone call that their truck wouldn’t start and they needed to cancel the move for that day promised they would come Friday. Again a truck did not arrive so they said they needed to cancel my move. Told me they would refund me my deposit which I have yet to receive so I had to scramble and find a different moving company to move that day and the next day. so they pretty much abandoned me at my pick up location. Run from this company don’t walk and do not hire them.

My nightmare started with A plus mover - I should have read its bad review…
I should have read its bad review before I hired them to move my furniture from Charlotte to Seattle.
I paid them $12000 in total which is over the initial quote of $8500. They said it is based on volume but the mover overcounted it based on the size of the whole truck that is not fully packed. Besides the packing material is overcounted as well. The shipment was delayed about 10 days to arrive and I was told I can deduct $200
from the remaining balance upon delivery and the remaining reimbursement to submit the claim. However the claim company later said this item has to be paid by the mover. Thus in the end I was never compensated for the delay. During the delivery the movers got into an argument with the driver and left abruptly without completion of the job. they simply dumped many things in our garage. I filed a claim notice for the following: a missing extendable ladder, a broken office chair wheel, a broken night stand, an incomplete delivery, scratches on my table and china and wrinkles on my leather sofa due to high temperature in the truck and long moving time. The claim process took about three months and the reimbursement is only $150 and I essentially was offered "take or leave it" attitude. I took it since I know this will be all I get unless I sue them which I do not have time and effort to do so. Anyway it was simply a nightmare!!! Try to avoid this mover or you will regret it.

SIZE OF THE MOVE. OVERCHARGE
First, we would like to apologize for any inconvenience the customer has endured during the move. It is never our intention that customers will have a less than satisfying experience. The customer provided the sales representative an inventory list consisting of 88 pieces to transport which was estimated to occupy approximately 1066 cu ft. It states in the Estimate that should the customer add additional items or require additional services which were not listed on the Estimate then the price will increase accordingly.
The customer added more pieces from 88 to 175 like the result price change. They also ordered packing materials for their items, the customer says she was not aware, however, this was disclosed and agreed upon by the customer way before pick up. Per federal regulations, any additional items and services requested which were not included in the original estimate and may result in additional charges require that the movers provide a revised binding estimate which automatically cancels any previous estimates.
WRITTEN REVISE PROVIDED BEFORE MOVE START
The customer was provided a revised binding estimate which included all requested additional services prior to the loading of their additional goods to which their signature attests on 04/25/2023
We understand that moving can be very stressful and chaotic. However, when the movers are rushing to pack or bring furniture and boxes in and out of the residence, they still need the customer to sign the documents; this is when the control is given back to the customer. At that point, the customer can require the movers to help identify items by their stickers, and count the boxes or confirm the condition of the items noted in the inventory.
CREW BEHAVIOR
Regarding the trash and issues reported by the customer with the crew, we regret the customer had to sustain such unacceptable behavior of our foreman and/or crew. Our company policy provides for disciplinary action when such a complaint is received by a customer. The matter has been addressed by management. We thank you for bringing the matter to our attention as it helps our quality control department avoid such future complaints.
DELIVERY DATES. TIMEFRAME
First, we would like to apologize for any inconvenience the customer has endured during the move. It is never our intention that customers will have a less than satisfying experience.
Per our Estimate and Bill of Lading governing this move, the standard delivery schedule is 30 business days to deliver after the First Available Delivery day, however, per our terms and conditions, delivery can be completed up to 30 business days from the first available date to deliver the shipment. Although we work very hard to meet our customers’ requested pick-up and delivery dates, sometimes it is not always an option for a variety of reasons which makes the logistics of the moving industry complicated and unpredictable. We regret the customer felt the need to post this review and trust they are now able to better understand our position in this matter.
BASIC 0.60$ LIABILITY
We offer customers the free of charge coverage of $0.60 per lb. per article as required per federal regulations. Any additional coverage is not free of charge and must be paid for. The office was not contacted by the customer at time of pickup to discuss the Full Value Protection option. If the customer would have contacted the office at time of pickup or even during the time between the pickup and the delivery which took 7 business days, we could have made the changes to the Bill of Lading governing their move. Most customers do choose the $0.60 per lb. per article as it is free of charge and helps keeping the move costs lower. Since the customer chose the basic coverage plan of $0.60 per lb. per article, it is our legal liability to compensate them based on the weight of their items rather than the value of them.
