I'd like to share my concerns about my…

I'd like to share my concerns about my experience with A1 as a service provider. My elderly mother visited an A1 office seeking an internet and TV service contract, which she was offered for a fair price. Given that she only uses these services for approximately half of the year due to her travel schedule, she signed a contract that seemed convenient based on the information provided by the customer service representative.

However, after a year had passed, the monthly price of the service unexpectedly doubled. When I inquired about this sudden increase, I was informed that it was due to inflation. This was concerning, as we had not been informed of any such price changes. We decided to cancel the service, only to be told that this would result in a penalty equivalent to three months' worth of charges. This penalty is quite significant, particularly for my mother, as it amounts to about a month's worth of her retirement income.

I then proposed a modification to the service, requesting to keep the internet while canceling the unused TV service, which was no longer suitable for our needs. Unfortunately, we were met with the same response: breaking the contract with a three-month charge and the creation of a new contract.

This experience has left us deeply disappointed. My mother now finds herself obligated to pay a high and unwarranted price for a service that has not met our expectations. Additionally, it has come to our attention that a neighbor, who is also an elderly lady, is in a similar situation, locked into a contract with A1 that is causing her financial strain.

I would like to express my hope that A1 will reconsider its policies, especially in cases involving senior citizens, and work towards providing fair and transparent pricing and contract terms. We believe this would contribute to a more positive relationship between your company and its customers.

Thank you for your attention to these concerns, and we hope for a satisfactory resolution to this matter.

Not happyNot happy. Bought my grandson a new phone...well previously used but them upgraded for UK use. He's using A1 ...it's now coming up as a completely different telephone number than the SIM car

He's using A1 ...it's now coming up as a completely different telephone number than the SIM card in the phone. Very worrying. I'm not happy at all and think our details have now been compromised. Can someone please explain what the hell is happening ???

After more then 4h waiting on a replay…

After more then 4h waiting on a replay regarding my problem that was - not being able to see the information of my virtual card on the app so that I can use it. Their work time was finished no replay message not even seen. 5 hours later I can see my CVC but I cant use my card. I confrim the purchase and I have the amount needed in the account and It still denies the card, simply amazing. Was a customer before they became A1 and were called Mtel so over 20 years. Ending the contract and telling everyone about the experiance and the way they treat their loyal customers.

worst internet connection

I feel scammed. I've changed my Internet provider to A1 based on promises that their internet is faster and better. My experience showed the opposite. The internet connection is always interrupted and they say there is no problem. I am left without internet every 5 minutes and you say there is no problem.. Absolute worst. Don't bother changing your provider to A1. It's a nightmare if you need a stable connection for work.

stop scamming customers this company is one big lie and scam.i have changed my internet to surf unlimited and still after 2 weeks they tell me you run out off gb's.cancelled my old contract and after 4 months they haven't changed it in there system.so i am still stuck with crap internet.that is only good for 2 weeks in a month.thid company is just one big corrupt piece off crap.disrespectfull against expats.and to lazy to do there work.even the store is complaining that they are lazy and not doing there job proper in sofia.every you contact them by email no normal answer back.there englisch chat is never availible on my a1 and if you tell them the thruth they will block you're email.

A1 Bulgaria using scam practices

Since A1 Bulgaria a subsidiary of A1 Austria, took over MTEL 2018, they drastically changed business practices. Some of them constitutes violation of the Bulgarian Consumer Protection Act and and are at the verge of criminal activities, as they aim to mislead the customers of A1 Bulgaria and collect illegal payment for the services that were not ordered/provided. To make a long story short if A1 is interested to have satisfied customers they may take the following steps:
1. A1 Bulgaria to abandon the current unethical practices towards its customers and take the necessary measures to change their system, i.e. to have a proper notification in the A1 client portal and the A1 Application for additional services with the possibility of cancellation on the spot or through the Application;
2. Re-introduce a proper complaint mechanism that allows for remote interaction without the need to visit A1 store;
3. Provide a free phone line with live agent support for all A1 customers, including the 0700 option;
4. Stop charging A1 prepaid customers for services they did not request.

They straightup lied

So i called them to change my adress on a friday and they said it takes 2 work days for the service people to come and activate it. We even changed our plan and ofcourse the next day they started charging us the new price WITHOUT signing the new contract. So we though they will come on monday or tuesday it's friday now and i have been calling them the whole week to which they always responded that it is being worked on. Worked on what exactly? So they can start charging me the new price while I STILL DON'T HAVE INTERNET. I would suggest anyone who can use some other service provider, do it if you have the option.

1 star is only because there's no option to reward them with "Minus 5 Stars Award". The personnel is absolutely incompetent, arrogant and didn't aware even about the basic terms and conditions of the service provided by the Company they're working for. They're only interesting in selling the contract, however, after that you definitely will find a lot of hidden and unpleasant surprises which are not stated there. If you're nevertheless still going to buy their services, be careful with promotional packages and remember that you'll get a lot of restrictions such as no 5G access, etc. which, once again, aren't included into the written contract. IMHO I would recommend you to forget A1 like a bad dream and find another operator with more clear and fair conditions in order to protect yourself against further headaches and the personnel's hostility when you're gonna find the truth.

DO NOT EVER SIGN ANYTHING WITH THIS COMPANY. The employees cheat to convince you to sign a contract with them - lie that they can provide service that in fact will not work at the respective location and they lied to have contacted my current internet supplier and confirmed my contract with them has expired. I found out 1 hr after signing about the fraud and they refused to cancel the contract and told me I have to wait for days for this to be done if at all. Now I am supposed to pay two fees at two different suppliers. This is pure abuse of elderly people and from my chats with other friends, i am not the only one. Such a shame for such a large company to allow such illegal practices from their employees. This happened in Sliven, kv Bulgarka., Bulgaria location

I worked 2 years with different company, the company i used to work with offered me a monthly price of approx 115 bgn, and have the telephone in stock.did a market research wanted to see what the best price I can get with leasing plan for Samsung s22, the seller at Ring mall( and the manager of the store was next to him)promised me:
1.a monthly plan around 90 bgn- we spoke few times I told him very clear, I don't want to pay anything upfront, everything In a monthly plan- I repeat it few times -and we agreed and he confirmed it will be a monthly leasing+ phone plan.when I signed on the contract ( I don't read kirilik)I asked everything is written here, what we agreed- he said to me yes.
2. the other company had already the phone S22 in stock,I told him I want the phone ASAP, A1 seller told me within a week +/- they'll have it- more than a month they didn't have it, I came to the store maybe 5 times, each time different story.
* today I came , finally they have the phone, but for my big surprise, despite all what we agreed, they told me I need to pay pre payment of between 650 and up!!!! total lie/scam. the manager ( that was at the time of the sell) called to the seller, he claims he told me I'll need to pre paid- again lie. when I asked let's check the contract that I sign- they told me the contract was only for the call plan, not for the leasing!!!!!!!
so unary, disappointed, ugly way of working method, to take clients from other companies, by lie and fraud.
now I need to work with them for 2 years !!!!!! don't get near to this company

A1 Bulgaria is unbelievable I stuck with it for 2 years until the end of the contract time went to their office told them not to roll over the contracts, gave back equipment, ensured no outstanding amounts, went to another company. 4 months later I get a demand fro. Them they only cancelled 1 part if the contract and are now demanding hundreds from me. The receipt is not in English but led me to believe it was cirre t as it had 3 reference number on it
Total scam, I will go to prison before I give them another penny

Appalling customer service where many…

Appalling customer service where many shop assistants simply don't care about serving customers, phoning and staying on line for approximately 40 minutes each time and then having the line drop means you never get to speak to anyone. Truly a very bad telecoms company. I am trying to cancel my contract which is proving difficult because I cannot get to speak with anyone...but I will continue until it's cancelled.

Terrible company

Terrible company. Terrible practices and terrible service - A LOT of shady practices. Be ready to expect a lot of trouble from this company if you engage with them! And employees I'd seriously recommend finding a new job. They hire subcontractors that are sometimes dangerous people that enter your house to install internet. They automatically harvest any info they can get on you and sell it.
