A1 is the worst company I’ve ever seen

A1 is the worst company I’ve ever seen. They are not helpful at all, internet is a such a bad quality and they do everything to make you paying as much as possible. They should be forbidden.

The worst internet ever

I live in a big village 20 km outside of Vienna. I pay 50 Euros for max 300Mbits. Well... currently i have about 10-20 Mbits. After 5 Months my router began to crash and restart every 15 Minutes. I did several support calls. The Problem is not solved. Please dont go to A1. You will regret it

No service at all

No service at all, neither on the service line nor in the Shops. The staff doesn’t know what to do and how to inform, help the customer.

I’m very disappointed and will quit all contracts as soon as possible!

The worst ISP in existence

Internet dies every night, pay 20 Euros monthly but we actually have to pay 50 euros every month, terrible customer support, the speed is absolutely terrible not what they advertised it was gonna be. Basically overall bad scammy ISP. Do not renew your contract and get a different ISP that is way better than this ISP that is scamming you so much. Has to be one of the worst ISP's in the entire universe. Would love to see them go bankrupt, I would throw a party if they ever get bankrupt.

terrible experience

Company forced me to buy their router because they said I cant have my own.
Charged me around 100€ for it.
Now after 3 years i notice they're charging me additional 4€ monthly for a rental of the router.
Connection is 30% slower than what I pay for
next to the internet, they charge for a telephone that has not existed for 10 years.
After 2 hours, i have been mocked by customer support and they have just bounced me around without answering my questions.

wow it's such a bad experience!
I moved to Austria and paid 1300 EUR for an iPhone + monthly fee. Now I need to move and they want to charge me 100Eur just for unlocking the phone.

The worst telecom company in Austria

The worst telecom company in Austria! I have been an A1 customer since 2012 and I am very disappointed with the quality of the company's services,but unfortunately there are not many options to change the company. The company had lost several times the requests for changes in service plans, and finally it lost my request for the contract termination, which I personally submitted to the office on Kartnerstrasse in Vienna. No chance to get a person speaking English when you call, they drop the line or make you to wait forever. They advise to use the chatbot, which BTW does not work, instead of talking to the client and solving the clients needs. Very expensive, poor service and unacceptable attitude to customers!

Enslaving contracts: pay even if you are unsatisfied

Have a contract with them. The TV box is buggy: it starts glitching and often dies completely when replaying a program randomly after 5-15 minutes. Support says it's not just my box, it's a known problem and "they are working on it". It's been like that for *half a year* now. I wanted to terminate my contract (because of this and other less important things), but found out that I'm a slave to them and have to pay for two years regardless of what kind of product I get in return.

Stay away from this marvelous company.

Worst internet provider in the whole universe

I’ve lived in 7 different countries and I’ve never experienced anything like it in my life. A1Austria has to be the worst internet company in the world. I am not exaggerating, I’ve been using A1 since December 2019 and my internet has been down for at least 30% of the time. It just never works and when it does, it’s extremely slow. My question is: How is this company still doing business? Please, if you’re reading this review, stay away from A1! Do not sign any contract with them! Go with other providers! They’re ripping everyone off! Let’s stick together and make sure we do not renew our contracts with them. I want to see A1 go out of business because they do not deserve any better.

Horrible

Internet connection is lost on a daily basis due to its instability. Even though we pay for our wifi, most of the time we cant even use it properly. So much money goes into advertising such a poor poor service

Paying 20€ per month for house internet…

Paying 20€ per month for house internet that is so bad that I don't know if it would be good 10 years ago. Speed is max 20 mbps but actually it never goes above 15 mbps, average is about 12.. DO NOT TAKE A1 UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO PAY ABOVE 50€ FOR NORMAL SPEED..

Appalling customer service where…

Appalling customer service where customers who don't speak Bulgarian are cheated into signing newer contracts with the knowledge that they will be paying less each month but in actual fact they are charged more. It's impossible to get through their phone lines as they never pick up, moreover, many, not all, of their shop assistants are simply rude and don't care. I have decided to cancel my contract no matter the penalty as I am truly sick of putting up with poor customer service, inability to communicate verbally with anyone because phones are no answered and to be faced by rude, arrogant behaviour by shop assistants.

Terrible experience and terribly expensive

Terrible experience! I had to use all of my mobile data because the wifi literally never worked and then I had to buy an extra mobile data package because I almost ran out of data. Thanks for nothing! You pay €50+ for phone and tv/wifi and then you have to buy an extra package? You could also just go burn your money. would be the same.

Would give none of the stars if possible but I guess you at least have to pick 1! Not even 1 star is deserved.

Highly NOT recommend.

They will destroy your online meetings - worst telecom company in Europe

My Wifi Internet with them (S package) has been slow and unstable for months. My online meetings always are disrupted because of this.
My emails to them have been unersponded for months. There's no email address given where one can actually get support, and the phone support line is always busy. Tonight I've been on hold in their ridiculous web chatroom (the only way they offer!) for 30 minutes before I was finally disconnected with no help at all.
A1 really appears to have no respect for their customers' time at all, despite charging among the highest monthly fees for home Internet of any company in the EU.
This has every chance of being Europe's worst telecom company. Utterly outrageous.

Absolutely AWFUL!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely AWFUL!!!!!!!!!! The customer service is absolutely atrocious. We had pre booked a date in advance for our WiFi to be installed. They came 6 hours later that day and then could not install it because of a minor problem? Then they said they will come the next day but gave us no indication of when or what time. The next day came and they didn’t contact us or show up so I called them and they said someone will come between 15:00-17:00 and of course.. no one showed up. When we kept calling they just kept saying someone will come and when we argued they said someone else will call you to discuss this. These people are trash and they are the worst service/company I have ever experienced!!! Do not waste your precious time and/or money!!!!!! So angry.

Genuine trash

Genuine trash. They offer exceptionally unstable internet that is unusable for 2-3 hours a day. I can't describe how frustrating having an online meeting on 0.21mb/s is. After countless calls and emails, I was given many false promises and partial information. It took around 6 months of calling them on a nearly daily basis for an employee to tell me that they simply can't provide a usable service in my area, and that my router is essentially using mobile data with poor bandwith.
