We contacted A1 Car Valet after my son purchased a Skoda Superb from Meadens a Skoda dealership last year, but unfortunately the car hadn’t been properly prepared. There was even green mould on the seatbelt, and the bodywork finish was far from what you’d expect.
My son spoke to a few other detailers beforehand, but many seemed more focused on upselling services than actually understanding what the car needed. Kevin, however, was a breath of fresh air. He provided genuine, old-school customer service—taking the time to explain the options clearly and recommending the most appropriate level of detailing based on the car’s age, condition, and what would truly benefit my son.
He also made sure the service delivered was true value for money, focusing on what was necessary rather than what was most expensive.
It’s rare to come across such honest and customer-focused service these days. Highly recommended!

I cannot recommend Kevin at A1 Car Valet enough. His level of due care and attention to detailing is exceptional, but what really stood out was his character. Kevin’s personal manners reminded me of how customer service used to be 20+ years ago—genuine, polite, and focused on the person, not just the transaction.
In an era where everyone seems obsessed with upselling just to make more money, Kevin was the complete opposite. He was incredibly honest, taking the time to explain the process and giving me sincere advice on which service actually suited my car rather than the most expensive option. It is rare to find that level of integrity and 'old school' professionalism today. My car looks fantastic, and I’ll definitely be back.
