Watch out for this guy!
Watch out for this guy!! We test drove a 2008 Honda Pilot. He said his mechanic went over the vehicle and everything should be good. Yes, used cars are NOT prefect, but don't try and pawn them off like everything's good. The guy was nice and let us take it to our OWN mechanic (which I recommend everyone do). But here's where things went south. He was asking for a normal Blue Book price for a sub-par vehicle with high miles. Defects: acceleration noise at 2000rpm; alignment - pulled to the right; airbag idiot light was on; all head rests for 3rd row seat were missing; front seat warmers were bad; rust on the back wheel well; overhead light bad on passenger side; lights for the middle seat didn't work; driver's side window didn't work on "auto"; alarm didn't activate.
He was trying to sell us what he said was an awesome vehicle. We brought it back, dropped the keys, and ran from a lousy, fraudulent used car salesman (read: crook).
