No way

I searched for parts specifically for my vehicle and correctly entered my car model. The system showed me suitable products and even marked them in green as compatible, although they are universal parts.

The product description contains no concrete measurements or technical specifications, so as a customer there is no way to verify whether the parts will actually fit. With a well-known seller, you rely on the accuracy of such information.

However, the delivered item is completely undersized and clearly not suitable for my vehicle. It seems to be intended for a much smaller model. This limitation was not mentioned anywhere.

What is especially frustrating are the return conditions: a processing fee plus the loss of shipping costs makes returning the item economically unreasonable, as the total cost is close to or even exceeds the purchase price.

Ich habe gezielt nach passenden Teilen für mein Fahrzeug gesucht und mein Modell korrekt angegeben. Mir wurden entsprechende Produkte angezeigt, inklusive Hinweis (grün markiert), dass diese Teile kompatibel seien – obwohl es sich um Universalteile handelt.

Die Artikelbeschreibung enthält keinerlei konkrete Maße oder technische Angaben, sodass man als Kunde keine Möglichkeit hat, die Passgenauigkeit selbst zu prüfen. Bei einem bekannten Anbieter verlässt man sich darauf, dass solche Angaben stimmen.

Die gelieferte Ware ist jedoch völlig unterdimensioniert und offensichtlich nicht für mein Fahrzeug geeignet, sondern eher für ein deutlich kleineres Modell. Diese Einschränkung wurde nirgends erwähnt.

Besonders ärgerlich sind die Rückgabebedingungen: Bearbeitungsgebühr plus verlorene Versandkosten machen eine Rücksendung wirtschaftlich unsinnig, da die Kosten nahezu den Kaufpreis erreichen.

Insgesamt ist das für mich absolut nicht akzeptabel. Die Darstellung wirkt irreführend, und ich kann daher nur davon abraten, hier zu bestellen.

The seller's response to my review is a lie. I have screenshots that show that the universal parts are suitable for my vehicles. There is no place on the vehicle where they could fit in size.

I was offered a return but only under the seller's return conditions. However, the conditions state that a processing fee of at least €25 will be charged. Shipping cost €9, plus return shipping. Shipping costs are not refunded.

This means that the costs exceed the value of the goods. Instead of looking for improvement solutions. Some of the sellers gave Hue false facts and tried to shift the blame to the buyer. That's pathetic and just shows that the seller isn't competent enough to do his job properly. That's a shame. It's not about money for me, I just hate it when someone tries to take me for a fool and harms me because they don't know how to do their job

it's a real shame we have to explain this and have to reply to this review, but it's probably required looking at the review we got from this customer.

Situation:

We have universal ball joint boot covers (no actual boots but protection covers) in our shop from energy suspension to ''protect'' your standard ball joints (its not a replacement part)
The product says ''universal'' in the title, in the description and in the suitable for list with a badge you can click which says:

''This product is universal, which means it is not specifically designed for a particular car brand or model. Universal products often have a smart design, making them widely applicable.

How do you know if this product is suitable for your car?

You purchase this product based on your own judgment. By consulting the specifications, image or product title, you can check whether it is suitable for your car.''

The customer complaints we told him/our shop told him that it would fit his car. Eventueally this was not the case and we helped him via email, but keeps telling us this is our error and we need to cover return shipping costs (since the costs are for him to high to return the item) for an item worth 14,20 euro.

We have been selling this product for over 20 years on a weekly base and this is the first time we have an ''issue'' with it.

It's a shame we have to explain this and sometimes we just have to deal with situations like this.

Additional information:

And again a mistake has been made by the client because our shop mentions that when you return an item, the return costs of the shipment are for the customer itself and we ONLY charge a fee of minimal 25 euro IF the shipment does not arrive according to the required conditions. This means that he could receive the refund of the item easily without any addiitonal costs, IF he would send it back according to the conditions. Again something that indicates the information is not being read carefully.

EXCELLENT SERVICE AND PRODUCTS

I am writing this review from Italy.
I have a 2005 Civic EP2, A4H has always assisted me via email with any problems, or doubts about spare parts for my car.
I had a problem with the Buddy Club spoiler, as it doesn't fit perfectly on EP2s, I contacted A4H and Bob was very helpful and came to me with a discount coupon. As I was out of time for the return, and the spoiler was already painted. Also the coachbuilder will proceed to charge me the labor costs for the spoiler modification, so the voucher was very appreciated by me!The goods always arrived intact and on time. I'm sure if I need any more parts, I'll buy them from A4H

My experience was extremely positive!
I placed an online order and one of the items was out of stock. The customer service team was tireless in finding alternatives and in the end we arrived at a great solution. They were always in a good mood, helpful and polite.
The prices are really good too!!!
I recommend them 1000%

Awful delivery timeframes and awful customer support replies.

First of all, will say that I do understand that sometimes timeframes are wrong and delays can happen. I had ordered about 1000eu worth of items from these guys on 29 January 2026. Same day I bought from eBay from 2 different sellers one located in USA and one in Australia, as well as some Aliexpress stuff from China. eBay stuff arrived on 11 of February (time frames were in between 7 of February and 4 of March), meanwhile aliexpress arrived on 9 of February (timeframes between 6 and 24 of February). Everything arrived besides A4H-Tech stuff. Tracking (PostNL) showed that they shipped it on 2 of February and since 4 of February it has crossed the border, no news since then. Today is 17 of February (mind you all timeframes were between 4 and 9 of February for my stuff to arrive.) I texted them the first email on Monday 9 of February and they gave no reply so I sent them another email on 10 of February asking about any information on my package which luckly they replied.They told me that I should be patient since they have some delays. Even though I can sometimes understand delays , it was frustating. I had given them time until Friday 13th of February to give me any info on my package or even deliver it. They didnt do anything, emailed again on 16 (yesterday) and they just keep telling me that they cant do nothing and it could take months for cases like these to be resolved. When I asked for a refund as I could not wait any longer they outright refused saying they cant. This just makes no sense, first of all why would you even give me timeframes of 4-9 february , not only be delayed but not give me any news about my package. I had to email them and even with that nothing has been solved and even today 17 of February my package is still at "crossed the border" since 4 of February and they do not know anything about it. Absolutely useless customer support from both them and PostNL. Will never order from them again. AKR performance is slightly more expensive but better. EDIT TO REVIEW: Im not gonna get into more details since clearly A4H cant comprehend some stuff but what I will mention is the shipping cost. They didnt lower it willingly. They initially told me 175 for the packages which I refused since I could have gotten better shipping with AKR. After that they texted that they can do 80 or 90 however much it was and they were gonna put it in 2 boxes rather than 1 which makes their reply very irrelevant. Also to mention that considering the packages from both usa , Australia and China were way bigger than theirs , what they are saying about the package size also is irrelevant with the country that they are shipping it to since we are all in Europe. They are just trying to "fix their size of the story" which makes no sense.

unfortunatelly we are forced to tell the other side of the story as well to keep everything is perspective regarding this order.

We received this order on 29-01 and were able to process this order 1 day later on 30-01.
Since the customer lives on the Island Cyprus (a part of Europe with non-average shipping costs compared to the rest of Greece)
Once we offered our best shipping costs possible (even with a lowered price on the costs which we paid for the customer and the customer also got a nice discount on his purchase in total) we first got an email the customer wanted to cancel the order but later wanted to proceed anyway.
We processed it for him and the order got shipped on that same day (30-01).

Conculsion: communication was spot on and we are constantly on top of the email for every customer including this customer.

When we were back in the office after the weekend of 31-01, we saw an email on the day we shipped the order, that the customer wanted to cancel the order anyway. But unfortunatelly it was shipped already and we could not intercept it anymore.

Since last week communication started become less ''friendly'' because the tracking details show that the boxes (several) are still on their way to the customer and because the customer lives on an island, it's possible that the courier needs more time to get everything sorted out.
Despite the fact we know that this sometimes take a bit of time, we asked POSTNL (including the Cyprus local courier) to investigate. The customer isn't willing to wait for the parcels te be delivered and is getting unpatient unfortunatelly. Know that we are in the first week since we shipped several parcels from Holland to Cyprus.

After daily communication from the warehouse leader with the customer, we receive emails from him that he want to cancel the order and receive a refund. But ofcourse we can't refund a value when parts are still on it's way to a customer. What should we do if the parts arrive and the customer has the money back on it's account as well?

We have to wait for the investigation from the courier and this can always take some time. Time the customer doesn't offer us or the courier and starts writing reviews like this right now.

Making comparisations with USA or China shipments is completely irrelevant looking at the dimensions of the parts, the paid shipping costs (note that the shipping costs had to be lowered to convince the customer to accept it in the first place) and the fact that delays can occure with every shipment. From the US, from Asia, from anywhere.

In the end it's very easy: We just can't make refunds as long as the courier tells us during the investigation that the boxes are still on their way to the customer. Being unpatient and become angry about something we don't have in our own control doesn't change anything. As soon as the courier tells us the parcels (several) are all ''lost'' (we highly doubt), the customer will receive the order amount directly on it's account.

Very unfortunate we have to tell all of this to keep everything in perspective.
Yes, we are unsatisfied about the (currently luckely still small) delay at this point, but we know that in the courier world this is a common issue with all of them.

We will stay in contact with POSTNL and the customer but we were forced to reply to these reviews.

Tried charging me more after

I ordered with a note that I was paying under the assumption that all duty/vat is paid and when they shipped it I get asked for more money which makes the parts cheaper in the uk than from here as I had it on order note I’m currently in process of trying to get a refund.

unfortunatelly this customer feels compelled to write this review after many explenations, emails and currently even a credit card claim, for making a mistake and not knowing what it means ordering outside his own country (UK) in an EU country.

We explained everything but the customer doesn't want to understand that even after clear information in our shop it's his responsibilty to know what it means to order from a different country.

We explained that he didn't pay our 21% VAT during his purchase, so when the parts arrive in his country, customs will charge him the UK VAT of 20% and bit of import duty.
He only thought he could make a ''cheap purchase'' and avoid VAT or import duty and now claiming the to pay VAT in the UK at us and want's to return the parts as well (causing extra import duty and VAT for us).

He is also claiming he could get the hardrace parts cheaper on Ebay (20% less according to him, we asked for proof but only got an image of a product of 89 GBP (about 104 euro) and he paid at us 85,95 euro excluding VAT. So you can do the math....

Customer communicates very rude since day 1 and we don't have to be treated like this.

We will communicate with the credit card company, finish this case and after that keep providing high service and aftersales to other customers who are happy with the way we work and what we do extra compared to other shops in the business.

Rare customer service excellency

I'm speechless. Their service is that good! I bought a rear motor mount from them, manufactured by an American company for which they are official dealers. The manufacturer offers only 1 year warranty. They replaced my part at 15 months on their own expense as the manufacturer refused to, only by the photos I sent them, no questions asked. Kept me updated throughout the whole procedure in a polite and caring way and they even paid for the shipping! WOW!

Bad experience with delays of critical parts

I have ordered few times from this shop and orders were delayed every single time. For example, on the web site it is stated that 90% parts are in stock?!
But, after ordering and paying for the items, usualy items are not in
stock! and have to wait a long time for it!!!
After payment, I have received an email that parts will be sent in 5-8 working days. Last week parts were supposed to be sent in 2-3 working days. And today, parts will be sent maybe next week?! Just to mention, payment was carried out 17 days ago!

This is what our shops tells everyone on product level:

''90% of the products in our store are in internal or external stock and we can often process your order quickly (varying from a few hours to a number of business days).

Naturally it is possible that a product has an (unexpected) longer delivery time.
Upon receipt of your order, we will always inform you about this and offer any available alternatives. So keep a close eye on your mailbox.

We deliberately provide stock information about our products afterwards, because many suppliers do not offer a ''stock link system'' and we do not want to show '' estimates '' in advance, like many other webshops do (which are often incorrect and give you wrong information in advance). We only want to give our customers actual information on the moment of processing the order so we don't mislead our customers.

If you need a product VERY quickly and you need to be sure that we have it in stock, please e-mail or call us or send a message via ''ask a question about this product'' below in the product description.''

This explains the whole situation and we have told you several times that we don't show actual stock in our shop. Why? Becuase you have seen what happened with your order. Extreme Clutch promises us something, and they don't fullfill what they told us. We kept you updated everytime (from our side, also without asking for it because we are one of the only shops in the business who re-informs their customers if something gets delayed and we don't let people just wait without telling something).

This is the business we are in and if 2 times (you ordered 2 pretty unique items also) this happened, this is very unfortunate. A part from the wrong adress you filled in and the additional items you wanted to add, it should not caused any absurd delays.

The world isn't perfect and definatelly not in this business. Specially with miljions of products available and you can just stock everything.

EDIT:

Updating the rating from 1 to 2 stars. The missing parts for my Honda Prelude were found eventually. They were packed inside the Intercooler box for my Honda Civic. The box was a branded Wagner Tuning box, and they just threw parts for another car into the box without making a single note or leaving a message.

So right now my 2 cars are in 2 different service centers 350 kms apart. The parts for the first car are in the trunk of the second car.

Because A4H delivered the whole package to the wrong address (to my wife instead of my mechanic), my wife didn't look inside of the boxes and just forwarded the packages to respective service centers.

Now one more time I have to deal with all of these messed up logistics.

Funny part: in the tracking system it shows that all the packages were received by ME. Which just can't be true: at the time of delivery I was at another location.

And I'll explain the 2-star rating: their customer support was non-existent. I had to reverse-engineer all this crap myself.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:

So after spending about 10,000 EUR in total and being, one could imagine, a valuable client I experienced a total incompetence in regard to the order handling.

I requested the order to be delivered to my friend (address #1) — something, which was TRIPLE-checked in the course of our email correspondence.

However the order got split in 2 parts and sent to a wrong (my wife's) address. My wife received only first part of the order and never received the second one.

When several weeks later I wondered about the second part of the order (which was only about 200 EUR), the manager just sent me a link with "delivered" status for that part of the order, stating that he "hoped he informed me sufficiently".

You guys mishandled the order, and instead of accepting the responsibility you just wrote me a kind of "f u" message. If you don't resolve this bullcrap as soon as possible, I initiate a chargeback procedure within my bank.

no full refund

i bought a seat frame which was advertised to be for my car, wasnt getting any order updates until few days later they email me asking what car i have, i tell them and they say it wont fit my car, when it was advertised for my car, so they offer a refund which i accept, but didnt get the full refund, because 'currency exchange' which i understand with international transactions, however as it wasnt my mistake but theres, i believe they should of covered the 'currency exchange' otherwise i lost money for no reason.
(edit/response) the product title clearly stated 'ek and eg civic' youre the one failing to understand your customers, no one got back to me that it doesnt fit my car after over a week after paying, yes you offered other seat frames, but as i stated to you, they do not fulfill my needs, the way they were designed for example to seat belt clip holder etc, i read the other negative reviews and your responses, now i understand other reviewers, before i was like but they tried to help you, nope they pretend they do but dont, and you only offered the 8 euros discount after only a while and i accepted but then you said i need to remove my reviews so yeah nice one

Customer changed the review and it clearly shows that he still doesn't understand what we have tried to explain in aproxm. 15 emails.
People only review via this (non approved) platform when they try to pull us down in our service/aftersales when it doesn't match up with the actual situation (and in that case the (approved) platforms remove the review because the reviews are not based on the actual situation after showing email conversations (we can proof everything).

Really a shame we get ''reviewed'' like this after trying to do our best for people.

There are 2 things we have to clarify:

The customer states that we offered a product in our shop that doesn't fit his car, but this information is wrong. We have spend over 15 emails to clarify this to the customer but he just doesn't want to understand what we mean.
The seat frames he ordered we normally have in stock, but the supplier failed supplying the left frames and we only got a very large amount of rights frames. After we found out (at the moment of shipping his order) we informed him and offered DIFFERENT frames to him. 2 options. 1 options fits perfectly but are slightly more expensive (he doens't want to pay extra) and the other frames are from a different supplier and need modifications on his specific model (that is why we asked what model he had). He didn't want that option either. No problem and we made the refund immediatelly.

unfortunatelly this customer don't understand that if he pays in pounds (UK) and we have to refund a payment in Euro, there is a chance that his bank (pounds) / our bank (euro) have an exchange rate difference and there there are transaction costs involved from his bank (every bank charges this). Result: he got 6 pounds less on his account.
After emailing many many times again, he still doesn't want to understand that we can't change this and this is something between his bank and him. We can show we refunded him the right amount of Euro's.
We even offered him to get a 8 euro discount on his next order, but also this is not enough for this customer to be satisfied.

Result: We get a bad review on almost every platform for something we can't help and after sending many emails trying to explain it, we just have to accept his frustration.

unfortunatelly we have to deal with cases like this sometimes and we hope we can now spend more time on helping/informing other customers who are always happy with the way we work and we show our service.

Customer service support is a non-sense

Customer service support is an horror. A lot of ping pong emails and poor solutions proposed. I think it is the worse experience in my life for buying a product on the internet.
In addition, they don't add the review I did on the product to avoid to loose sales.

Don't expect to be treated like the CEO quotes on their website :
"A4H-TECH BV has therefore also become a passion, whereby I want to radiate that passion to our customers by providing a service that I would also like to experience as a customer."

Special mention for HKS tuner that is a bad company to support their customers.

Trustpilot is not an official platform of us to review our website. The reason why this persons writes his review on this platform is because the other platforms we used didn't accept the review because it's based on wrong information.
Unfortunatelly this is a person who demands ridicilous results after a ''easy to solve (you can 't even name it a ''problem'') issue and has even got a refund of us (after contacting HKS and even HKS was not planning to give him a refund or anything) so we could close this case because the person took many of our hours by communicating poorly, demanding refunds and without any cooperation.

Unfortunatelly we have to mention this as a reply on this ''review'' even after we showed him we were VERY cooperative and understanding but not a single sign of respect and understanding from our point of view was shown by the customer.

Really a shame but sometime people are just like this and we have to deal with it in this business.

SCAM! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY

Be very cautious ordering ANYTHING from this company. I never received my shipment of over $600 USD. When I reached out to a4h I was asked if I could be patient. I complied completely and didn't hear anything for 8 weeks. When I reached back out it was at that point that they told me tough luck, nothing they could do, just after the time to be able to file a claim. I think they did this maliciously and on purpose, taking advantage of this patient behavior. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO NEVER RECEIVE YOUR PRODUCT AND BE TOLD TOUGH LUCK.

Trustpilot is not an official platform of us to review our website/business. The reason why this persons wrote his review on this platform is because apperently we didn't replied quickly enough on the previous review on our normale review platform KIYOH (which we normally use and reply to).
We found out an issue with a shipment to the USA and the problem has been solved already a long time ago.
We took our responsibility by re-sending the complete order again at our costs, even when POSTNL wasn't planning to refund us for a shipment that got lost (maybe it arrived in the end.... we don't know) after the customer contact us very late after receiving the tracking details (there is a max period of claiming a lost shipment).

Again, this problem has been solved already and the customer is happy and changed it review but never changed this review in the end.

waiting since 8 month for the parts

I'm waiting since 8 month for the parts. I got a message 3 days after i paid them that the parts are not in stock and they have to backorder them. That was the last time that i got any mail from a4h. In the meantime they removed the parts from the shop, because they will no longer produced anymore. They didn't send me a info about that or canceled the order to gives me my money back! That was my first order and definitly the last one!

Dear reader of this review,

Trustpilot is not an official platform of us to review our website/business. The reason why this persons wrote his review on this platform is because apperently we didn't replied quickly enough on the previous review on our normale review platform KIYOH (which we normally use and reply to).
We showed this customer already we did reply/informed him, but we never got a reply from him for several months.
When we removed the product from the shop many months after and still without receiving a reply we suddenly got a paypal claim, and 2 bad reviews on Kiyoh and Trustpilot.

If emails go to spamfolder or if people don't read the emails properly, we have to wait for a reply and we hope (even when we explain afterwards to the customer why we were waiting and we removed the product) that people understand that there isn't much to blaim us.
Apparently there is, because we had to receive this review of this person. Really a shame because we have nothing to hide, we are always open and honest and we were easily able to refund the order or change the order to an available product (things we do every week for hundreds of customers.
