Ashley and Adrian both helped me to get the project started and completed accurately  on time, my completed conservatory  is a perfectly finished product with high quality craftsmanship.
My neighbours are astonished by the latest design,quality of the conservatory construction, It totally transformed the look of my house in a very impressive way..
Adrian greatly supported my entire conservatory  project  by fulfilling modifications,ad hoc requests and following up with a work plan accurately without missing provided planned dates..
I will 100% recommend Abbey windows for any extensions/conservatory works as I am very happy with the finished product and looking forward to going with the same company for my future extension projects!

I have been very impressed with the reliability, efficiency and attention to detail from Rob at this company. All too often workmen let me down, but not this guy.

We chose Abbey based on their status as a Which? Trusted Trader and they lived up to their reputation throughout a multi-faceted job.

Unlike a competitor who quoted £32K and dropped to 16K when we said no - cementing their status as rip-off merchants - Abbey's Salesperson, Neil, had a refreshing attitude of a fair, set price for the job. He thoroughly listened to our needs, explained the products, and suggested solutions to potential problems. As my wife is disabled with rheumatoid arthritis, Neil took care to ensure she could open, close and lock the doors and windows during our later showroom visit.

The surveyors who visited were professional, highlighting areas needing care, such as wood cladding and electric wires, and even sorted out the replacement cat flap in a large patio door.

Most praise, though, goes to Abbey's ever-friendly fitter, Peter. From the moment he arrived at 8am on day 1, he barely stopped working over the next 5 days despite sweltering conditions.

Our job included removing two large wall sections for new roof-to-floor windows, and new French doors. He also had to negotiate a botch job by previous owners which left a sizeable gap and a view of the roof above our old patio doors.

Window fitting is a skill involving large amounts of making good afterwards. Peter's rendering, plastering, pointing, and commitment to finding solutions were second to none, and no request or question was too much trouble.

We're delighted. Abbey's all-round approach has transformed the house.

We would 100% recommend Abbey Window, not only is there work excellent, but their customer service is superb, always returned calls, as any building works can raise issues, all of which was resolved ASAP

My husband and I are so pleased that we selected Abbey Windows to install our conservatory. we explored at least 5 other alternative companies. The team of professionals were always so very respectful and the quality of work was exceptional.

We are just putting finishing touches to it, but we are just so proud of the extra unique space that we now have.

Rob and Jack has just fitted our Patio doors and they were so good. Very tidy and gave instructions on how to use to door lock it etc and how to clean it. So helpful

Abbey Windows built a conservatory for us in our previous property, we liked it so much we got them to build one on our new house. Great service. Highly recommend

We live in a 1948 built 3 bed detached, without wall cavities which means that though the roof is well insulated, the walls are straight through to whatever winter brings. The plastic windows were warped to the extent that new seals made no difference, and the glass panels seemed to encourage rather than prevent condensation.
We decided to have the lot replaced, and chose Abbey windows on the grounds not only of cost but for the efficiency and straightforwardness of the original quote. The quality of the new windows is leading-edge, the installation process was exemplary, and the house is warmer to a degree that I had not foreseen. Highly recommended.

We have had a very poor experience with Abbey Windows, Reading.
From 1st installation it took 4 months for them to complete and rectify the work (we had paid a large deposit 3 months prior to installation).
In negotiating our final balance following our complaints we were told that if we didn't pay the full balance within 24hrs we would be at risk of invalidating a warranty and they copied a debt collection company into the email. To put this into context the final work was only complete on 25.3.22 and we ourselves contacted them on 28.3.22 ( the following working day) to negotiate paying the final balance.
We would not recommend this company at all.
They have put us through an incredible amount of stress.
I would not wish our experience on anyone else.

We had Abbey windows remove our old tiles and replace with cladding. The result is excellent.
The fitters Jack and Rob did a super job arrived as promised and completed in the agreed timescale. Definitely would recommend this company

Abbey windows did an excellent job fitting our new windows and patio door.

Peter came on day one and was friendly, efficient and worked very hard as he was on his own in bitterly cold conditions.

Unfortunately Peter was unwell the next day and Abbey speedily arranged for another team to come a day later to complete the job
.. Rob & Jack took over from where Peter had left off they were also very friendly and efficient (they are partial to chocolate Swiss roll with their coffee’s 🤣).

All of the fitters were mindful of keeping everything as clean and tidy as they could using dust sheets / hoover.

They were also very “covid” aware regularly using anti bac to keep everyone safe.

I would definitely recommend Abbey Windows.

Despite a rocky start with the installation of our windows, we then had Rob and Jack out to sort the issues, and they did a fab job. Lovely guys who are experienced and take real pride in their work. Thanks both!

I don’t normally write reviews but after the outstanding service I received from Abbey Windows I felt I had to, from start to finish this company we’re out standing from the salesmen (Rob) coming to my property to the installers (sorry can’t remember there names) this company’s communication was excellent they walked me through every step of the process I have already recommended them to my neighbors I would highly recommend this company to anyone who wanted windows.

We used Abbey Windows for the first time recently following a strong recommendation from one of our neighbours and after much due diligence with other window companies in the area. We were very impressed throughout the entire journey, from the very first contact with the sales team, to the onsite surveyor providing us with options and considerations based on their expertise, through to the actual window fitters who showed their skill and craftsmanship with a very high-quality installation. All members of the team we dealt with were very friendly and professional and clearly very proud of their work and the company they represent. It’s been so refreshing to receive a quality service without any hassle and one which we’ve felt has represented good value for money. This was a significant investment for us, so we had to ensure we found a company who we could trust to deliver a quality product and service. We have to say, Abbey Windows truly delivered, and now other neighbours are asking who installed our new windows !

New front door and cladding. Delighted with the front door. Excellent quality and fitted by craftsmen. I have decided to use Abbey Windows to replace my conservatory roof on the strength of this.

We are really pleased with our new front door. Chris who installed it was brilliant and left us cleaner than when he came. The showroom was a real help when deciding what we wanted. It was a really big purchase for us and we were taken care of from start to finish. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Just had a recent installation from Abbey Windows for my windows and doors. Great experience, no hard sale, decent price, good communication and customer service. Creditable local company that I would be happy to use again for my next project.

I've waited to post a review after having my windows, doors, soffits and cladding fitted last year to see if there are any durability issues and I'm pleased to say all is great so far - the house is certainly a lot warmer during the cold. I was very impressed with all the team (Neil, Elaine, Gary, Christian (+1 sorry). Despite a few initial minor fitting issues all was promptly rectified. In summary - great quality at a competitive price with fast and professional fitment. Neil was polite and prompt in answering any questions. I can recommend Abbey Windows.

Rob and Jack installed all new windows on the ground floor. They were friendly, professional, and worked quickly (got the job done a day early!) Cleaned up after themselves and were a delight to have. Would highly recommend them and Abbey.
