This company answered the phone
This company answered the phone! So nice to speak to a human that can help with advice, then explain the cost and send an engineer right away. That’s the service I was looking for. Job done in first visit so a warm home with no leaks anymore! Highly recommend
Too many mistakes - and overall a nightmare.
A lovely guy, but one who cut many corners to get the job done, which was to install 2 new bathrooms. He apologised for doing so, but we have had numerous issues since.
Pencil marks were left on the splash backs. the sealant was poorly done and we had leaks on several occasions, including loos.
The shower water units were installed back to front so you have to use the showers in reverse. Kickboards weren't properly installed.
The pump to the 2 new showers they installed isn't working properly, (its barely 3 months old) and we are currently down to one meagre shower for 6 of us. Oh, and a loo has started leaking again.
Frustrating.
EDIT: They since sent someone within an hour to sort. So i have up rated. Typically the issues we had were not immediately visible. (although we had recorded proof). But again he was lovely and did what he could to prevent the issues re-occurring. We now have 3 showers working.
So Im less frustrated than i was this morning. But there have still been too many issues to give more than 3 stars.
EDIT 2
So less than a year later we had two leaking shower units, blown fuses, as the water was leaking through kitchen lights, and a ceiling in the downstairs living room that needs replacing because of mould caused by the leaking. Another plumber has had to come and rip out the shower units and reinstall properly. The overall installation was exceptionally poor and rushed. The finish is bad, and the follow up was unprofessional. Yes - we may have ended up been awkward and difficult - but when the sole reason for installing new shower units was to solve 2 leaking rooms, and then the leaks continue after the install for months - and there are more and bigger problems after that - then you cannot help but think that the issues are not with us. We have not been able to use the showers for the last 2 months, until a more professional plumber has sorted what should have been done initially. I cannot put his thoughts here on the work that was done by Ability. There are Children reading. Possibly.

A good honest family business
A good honest family business. I called up with a faulty oil boiler and was offered a same day visit. Matthew fixed my boiler and set the time clock which I’ve never worked out! It’s time for a new boiler and so I’ll be back for a quotation. A really helpful and friendly service

A very good job done
A very good job done. I had a boiler breakdown of which two other companies failed to fix. A polite and clear person on the phone gave me sound advice. The boiler chap was friendly and fixed it in less than an hour and all at a very reasonable price.
