Using their hosting service for DokuWiki. it was fast easy to use and came with free domain
Ablepage has been very useful in helping me creat my own wiki. It’s mediawiki package allows mediawiki to come preinstalled, so I don’t have to set anything up and can immediately begin creating on it. I can also install extensions as I please to customize my experience. 5 stars.
They are always so helpful fix any problems I may have with my site within an hour of receiving an email. Absolutely great company.
Absolutely a pleasure to work with. They are always so helpful in solving my website problems. Honestly don’t know what I would do without them
AblePage's speed and reliability are unmatched, especially at their price points. The access to cPanel for website management is amazing and convenient. I use them to host Wikimedia, and it really is as simple as just signing up. Everything was neatly packaged and installed for me, all I had to do was login! From what I can see, it's an amazing place to host WordPress, too, with a lot of options and features right at your fingertips.
It's the perfect platform for anyone who's looking to host their own website, but I have to say, I think it would be especially good for beginners. The simplicity and out-of-the-box functionality are top notch. Their knowledgebase is plentiful and their staff is incredibly helpful. For example, I have never had a quicker, more helpful response to a support ticket - they had solved my issue within the first response from a staff member, and answered my questions, too! I went from stressed out to fully relieved in a matter of minutes... A special shout-out to Kyle P for that!
I tried several different platforms for hosting my wiki, including a couple of farms and some significantly more expensive hosting platforms, and none of them came close to the experience I've had on AblePage. The level of control, ease of access... With them, the only thing holding me back is my own capacity for figuring things out. Otherwise, it seems as if the sky is the limit! It's a host that invites growth into its userbase, and I think that's amazing.
The entry-level price point is reasonable and affordable, so it's not a huge weight to get started out -- and you get a year-long domain with ANY membership, whereas most companies require you to purchase an annual one... So that cuts out even more of the cost of starting a website. It's an incredible deal for an incredible platform. I upgraded from their Basic plan to their top plan within a few days because I knew I wanted to get as much as possible out of the service -- and it was still cheaper than one of the mid-tiers on other wiki hosting platforms by about $10! Plus you actually get access to your LocalSettings.php and the entire backend of your Wikimedia installation... And you can even reinstall it for yourself in just a few clicks if you need to start fresh.
I could go on forever. Obviously. But I won't! I'll just say that I could not think of a better place to host your site, and leave it there. 5/5, would recommend.
I have not had any meaningful problems in recent time, and when I was first setting up my site ablepage was responsive and helpful. It's a stable and dependable hosting solution.
After months of being disappointed with webhosting companies I found AblePage. They have proven time and time again to be amazing. Customer service is impeccable. Their services reliable. My websites have never gone down. That uptime SLA is outstanding. Not to mention anytime I needed help installing or configuring anything, they were fast to help me and resolve my issues.
I will continue to be a happy AblePage customer
We have a MediaWiki with a subdomain which required some extra setup. AblePage was really helpful and quick to get things up and running. It's been up for years now, without any issues.
Not only have their services been reliable and stable, but they were available to answer questions for me before I signed up. These responses were both prompt and helpful. From there I've experienced no issues!
I have used AblePage for everything I can with my website since the beginning. I have never worked with a team of people who communicated with as much patience, helpfulness, clarity and detail. Their ability to keep their services for domain transfer, registration, and renewal, shared and dedicated hosting running smoothly so I never have to worry about it has been a game changer for me as a small business owner. When problems do come up(usually my fault lol) they always handle it with the upmost professionalism and speed. They care.
