Ableworld are the largest mobility retailer in the country and believe this is because we genuinely care about our customer’s well-being. We employ professional, caring and knowledgeable staff to work in our stores, and provide quality mobility aids at value for money prices.
We pride ourselves on being an ethical trader who will not pressure sell items and if we feel a product should have an assessment we will not sell these online, as we want to ensure our customers that they are getting the right product for their needs, not just the most expensive mobility aid.
Our stores stock all types of mobility aids, including Mobility Scooters, Walkers, Powerchairs, Bathing Aids and Stairlifts. You can be assured that in all of our stores we provide the same caring approach to looking after our customers, and the same range of quality mobility aids.

My husband and I visited your Nantwich branch yesterday to look at folding, lightweight mobility scooters and were delighted with the service we received from the manager, Julie. She explained the merits of the scooter she felt met my needs in detail, but also made comparisons with other mobility scooters, before allowing me to try it out both inside the store and outside. We found all of the staff very friendly and informative which made the purchase very enjoyable. I am thoroughly enjoying the freedom my new scooter is giving me and top marks to Julie and her Team from a very satisfied customer. Thank you.

I ordered a reconditioned stairlift for my 81 year old mum on 26 April 2023 and paid £2395.00 and there would be a 2-3 week wait for installation. It was installed on 22 June 8 weeks later after many phone calls chasing them! Mum sadly passed away 9 weeks after if was installed. I phoned Ableworld to see if they could buy it back (obviously at some reasonable price!). They offered £75 !!!!! and couldn’t commit to a date to take it out of the property as they were so busy. They obviously couldn’t care less so no I definitely would not recommend them at all.

We purchased a stairlift from Ableworld because their local reputation led us to use them again. Unfortunately it became clear that we had been supplied with what is known as "A Friday build" 5 times Ableworld sent five different fitters all within 10 days of it being installed to solve its' various problems, to no avail.
Without any nonsense or even the thought of any argument, before two weeks were up they had replaced the whole thing with a dearer model and sent me a cheque for any inconvenience.
If anyone out there can better that for customer service and thoughtful employees all working together to achieve customer satisfaction, then I would love to hear anyone beat it.
Thank you all at Ableworld. We recommend you to everyone. Our heartfelt thanks.
Les and Vera.

Having ordered items on a Bank Holiday, great customer service from Ableworld to have them dispatched immediately. Sorry about only 4 stars. If only the delivery firm had provided an opportunity to either view or advise on their expected delivery timing to enable me to be home to receive the parcel in the first instance, rather than then having to wait for it to be re-delivered.

As a local care home we were delighted when Julie visited us yesterday to present us with a cheque for our residents fund following a recent raffle at Ableworld. This was a lovely and totally unexpected gesture that will go towards an upcoming outing to Chester Zoo and will bring our residents much happiness. Thank you once again Ableworld for your generous support, from all at Woodeaves Care Home.

Well, another online ordering experience which was fulfilled by the team at Nantwich, and although I only needed a few things this second time around ordering, I was once again given such efficient service that my goods turned up next day.
How can people disagree or not use this business, with that level of service.
Mobility issues are so overlooked in this country by the younger generation, and I too in my (slightly) younger days may not have appreciated how fast life can turn upside down, and make you appreciate the help that is out there, like this business; a very convenient mobility aid supplier, all just so people like myself, and others who are, admittedly a whole lot worse off than I, can still hold our independence and have freedoms to go anywhere we may choose again.
Life has taught me a lesson in not taking anything to do with mobility for granted, and I will now say, we look above businesses like these at our peril.
Many, many thanks to all the team at Nantwich. Quick, friendly, and definitely worth every penny.

We have had 2 previous stair lifts supplied from Ableworld. Our present lift was 10 years old with spares no longer available so we decided to replace. Mark Lee came to see us on a Thursday to give us a quotation. He explained the options for new and the cheaper reconditioned lifts, warranties and delivery/installation No pressure. Next day I called the office and ordered a new lift. Mark came and installed the lift on Thursday the following week. Again he explained all we needed to know about the lift operation. The old lift and all packaging removed. Thanks to Mark and the team for the excellent service. I would highly recommend this company.

I can’t give enough praise for the staff and assistance I always receive from Ableworld Nantwich.
On quite a regular basis I need to phone to order goods for home delivery for my elderly father. The staff are always so professional and friendly, know the products I require straight away, arrange delivery and take payment. On occasions they have needed to call me back and have always done so as promised.
Huge gratitude is given then to the staff and care of Ableworld Nantwich, and it is nice to receive gold standard customer service from this store in an age where quite often customer service, is lacking. Well done Ableworld Nantwich and thank you from a very grateful family.

I ordered a couple of items on line. They didn't arrive. When I called, having checked, I was told they were at the local post office. I collected them weeks late. Not a promising start ....
One of the items didn't work at all ... slight feeling of dissatisfaction crept in. Contacted Ableworld and their Customer Service kicked in!
Arranged for the pickup of the defective item as well as the simultaneous despatch of a replacement.
All of this in the run up to Xmas - not the best time for an emergency despatch - and the middle of (quite a few) strikes.
Would they come through?
Absolutely! Item delivered and kept well informed through the process. Confidence fully restored and it's been a while since I come across comparable customer service.
Absolutely faultless.
Well done Lesley-Ann!
Oh and the initial delay? Seems it was a simple human error where the wrong house number was entered on label - out by about 200. Hence the "non-card" non-delivery.
We can all make mistakes - it's how we deal with them that count.
And this is one very "Able" company

We had a problem with my Grandmother’s stairlift (stuck at the top of the stairs), called and received detailed guidance over the phone that allowed me to resolve the problem immediately. Sharon was really very helpful, able to guide me exactly and describe clearly all the steps that I needed to follow.

We went to Ableworld to find a wheeled walker for my Mother. Brian helped us straight away and told us exactly which ones we should look at and the features of both. He also suggested a couple of other useful things that they sold, that we didn’t know about and he even helped me get it in the car. A great service helpful but not pushy.

Sent wrong items, had to waste another day waiting in for courier to collect parcel to be returned. Apparently item I ordered isn't stocked anymore but its still on the website to order!

Ableworld installed a stairlift 2 weeks ago and yesterday it froze at the bottom of the stairs. I tried everything in the handbook, phoned their 24 hour help line and the responder went through a range of things to try before saying we needed a visit from an engineer. This was arranged on the spot and he arrived within the time specified that afternoon. He checked it over, called for backup and another man arrived within 30 minutes. They both then spent over an hour replacing the faulty part, went through the explanation of the setup and left. I really must commend the company and their staff for excellent and rapid service.

The staff at Nantwich have been so helpful and really quick at sorting out a number of needs for my sister. They are definitely our first port of call for any disability aids.
