I've had 4 boxes so far from them and they have all been great. The delivery was fast and their message is so important.

Kept getting ads for this and decided to give this a go! I received a 3 month book sub for Christmas and it just ended, so i was wanting to try this to expand the genres I generally read. My first box arrived today and I must admit i was shocked! Such a great selection including books I would not even think to choose! Can't wait to read these and get the next box!

I've now received three mixed-genre boxes and have loved them! I get a wide selection of books, each box has had clear communication for delivery and I really appreciate the ethos behind ABOS. I've been recommending them to loads of my friends!

I love ABoS. Having regular deliveries of unknown books in genres that I like means that I am always surprised. The selections have been really good and often at the boundaries (if not beyond) of what I might pick up and I have discovered (well, been sent) a few gems. Definitely worth the subscription, if you don't mind the surprises. Delivery day is always a good day.

Great books and fantastic concept at a time when we should all be attempting to be ‘greener’. Use as personal reading plan to encourage you read books you wouldn’t necessarily have come across or chosen. Ive been so impressed by the range and standard of books received over the last year that I intend to buy gift boxes this year for anniversaries and birthdays. Service is also excellent.

My partner and I are both avid readers and like most people will fall into preferred genre of books. We wanted to broaden our tastes and appreciated the mission Box of Stories had rescuing books from obscurity and so signed up at Christmas. We have opted for 3 monthly subscription and a cross genre box and we are adding our selections to a random tbr for when we want to go off piste with our next book up.

As people who enjoy the hunt for books in charity shops, book shops and online lucky dips we love the fact we can be introduced to a whole range of new books.

I received a box of stories for Christmas and I absolutely love it! Although I adore reading, I found myself in a bit of a rut - choosing the same stories time and time again. A box of stories gave me the chance to read books in the gender I like but from authors I’d never heard of! What’s even better, I was able to save a few books from mulch. Will definitely do this again!

I love this subscription box - I started it in lockdown as a gift to myself as I couldn’t go to the library and it’s such a treat getting surprised by new books in the post. It’s great for diversifying your reading, as most of the books I’m sent I would never have thought to pick up, and most of them I end up really enjoying.

I love this. I love the books sent for me in my first box and I’m excited to get reading. I also love the consideration to the environment through every part of the process, both in saving books from landfill and also in the shipping and handling process. Already looking forward to my next box.

I received my first box this week. I was so happy with it: super quick, arrived in great condition, and 4 books I’d not only never read but not heard of. Before they picked them I was able to sync my order up to my Good Reads to ensure I didn’t get duplicates. Absolutely fab, would definitely recommend!

My parents recently bought me the subscription as a birthday present, I love it so much, it's a great way to discover new authors and read books you wouldn't have necessarily chosen yourself. Can't wait for my next box!

Can not recommend this service enough. As an avid book fan it's great knowing you are "saving" these books as well as getting a great selection of stories. It's tailered to your specific taste in genre and you can even decide how little or how often you would like your box delivered !! I was struggling to get back into reading but since my first box of stories I'm back to reading 2/3 books a month and my shelves have never looked better.

I received my first box from A Box Of Stories yesterday, and it well exceeded my expectations. Well packaged, and full to the brim with books. The ability to connect with a Goodreads account to ensure you don't get duplicate books is absolutely brilliant and the choice of books that arrived was great. Would highly recommend.
