Just on prise alone 4 books for £14.95 is good Amazon would charge £26.95 for the same books. The titles wouldn't necessarily be my first choice but hey isn't that the point. Looking forward to reading them. If I don't like the story some charity will benefit and someone else can read them. Win win!

Website is a little confusing and i’m not sure why there isn’t the option to buy a one off gift box, alongside the subscription, as I didn’t really want to subscribe at this time, customer service were very helpful but not sure I would order from again, its doing a good thing but due to website confusion has definitely put me off, mum liked her present though

Love the surprise of the books! Have enjoyed the majority of the books that have been delivered. Even bought my mum and grandma a box each and they were both excited by the concept and books they received!

Received my 1st two boxes as a Christmas present. My brother gifted me the crime/thriller genre and what can I say I'm hooked. I've since subscribed to a crime/thriller box every 4 months but changed it to every 3. My 1st subscription box arrived in a well packed brown box as advertised on their website. The customer service, email correspondence and deliver was flawless. ABoS has not disappointed me at all. Looking forward to my next book. Thank you ABos.

A Box Of Stories has really lifted my heart in these challenging times. Its such a wonderful business. I purchased gift box for my partner for Valentines Day and have subscribed myself. Receiving your box of surprise books in the mail is so exciting and its a very special feeling to know that you're saving books that would otherwise have been destroyed. We all need that kind of energy in 2021!

Really happy with the book selection, and like that you can choose how often you receive a box. Connecting it to your Goodreads accounts is also a good idea! The price is so cheap for 4 new books!

Just received my first box yesterday and I've already finished my first book, it was that good. Absolutely loved the selection they sent me in the crime and mystery box. I was worried it may be a collection of second rate books that you'd find in the pound shops, but all of them look amazing and I'm really excited to read all of them. I'd updated my Goodreads account and linked it to ABOS so I wouldn't get any dupicates. It was probably a coincidence, but I got another book from an author I had read previously and rated 5*, so I was over the moon! One word of advice, if you relish the suprise aspect of the box (which I do!) then consider NOT joining the Facebook group. I did initially, but it's full of folks posting pictures of the books they have received in their boxes (which I completely understand) but I didn't want any clues as to what would be in mine, so unsubscribed. I LOVE the fact that this box is all about the books. No useless trinkets, fillers and bits of plastic tat sent with it to justify an inflated price, which is not my thing. Just fabulous gorgeous books in sustainable recyclable packaging. Highly recommended!

I discovered A Box of Stories in the summer looking for a gift fir my mum and sent her one of the surprise boxes, I loved the idea so much I ordered one for myself. I now subscribe monthly as I’ve found the boxes absolutely brilliant, I’ve had such a great selection of books over the 8 boxes I’ve had. I’ve expanded my reading through finding new authors and genres. The thing I love the most is that books I never would’ve picked for myself have actually turned out to be favourites across the year.
This is a great subscription with flexibility, value for money and a fantastic community you can connect through Facebook with. I would highly recommend A Box of Stories

Brilliant idea, bought a box as a surprise for a friend after I saw your ad on Facebook. Had intended to put a note in with the box but that option wasn't available, can't complain about that though - my friend was very happy to receive a mystery box of books in the post and very pleased with the books she received :)

A great idea and I am very happy with my selection of books, some of which I possibly wouldn't have otherwise come across. I didn't sign up for a subscription as it may take a while for me to finish the 4 I have, but I will definitely use this company again. Great value for money.

The mixed boxes have such a great selection of titles, they’re like a Pick n’ Mix for books! I have just ordered my second box, after thoroughly enjoying the first! Usually, I would spend such a long time in bookstores trying to find a book that I might like, only to start reading it and feel disappointed with my choice. These boxes are great because not only am I reading books I wouldn’t normally choose for myself, they are being saved from scrap. 10/10 I would recommend!

A Box Of Stories has really improved my reading experience, they have delivered quality books every 3 months on the subscription service. I know that I wouldn't have discovered and/or chosen a lot of the books, so it's been good to try new things. I have really enjoyed the variety in the Crime, Mystery & Thriller Box, but it might not be the best idea for fussy readers as there is quite a range of styles within one box. It has definitely improved my bookshelf!

Really good communication via email and prompt delivery. I used TopCashback when signing up. It took months to come through, but it was a good amount for the first box.

So glad I found this service, I've had two boxes now both mixed and love the selection.

I can not fault it in the slightest you get exactly what they say you will it's always on time and the fact that it only costs nearly £15 for 4 books is amazing as you can pay more for one book !

Had 3 subscription boxes now and all books have been really good. Have read and enjoyed books I'd never have chosen for myself. Good to be open to reading different genres
