In the past have tried ringing you cannot get any help as they dont answer phone.
In the past have written several times to the Manager at the North Sydney address regarding concerns and for Microsoft to fix. He is rude. He never replies and acknowledges concerns let alone fix the problem.
Recently provided feedback with the issue caused by Microsoft online on their site. More being ignored by this company that creates problems and wont fix, wont reply and shows no customer service.
The issue that they refuse to resolve is their filter system that is hopeless.
They allow rubbish, offensive sexual emails into the junk email box. The huge increase in gambling emails -Duckysino, Free spins, BetnJet, Likes Bet, Slotmaster and many more. Also Cloud Storage security, payments declined, Norton renewal when I don't have Norton, Costco Visa Gift card when I don't have Costco. Others like Riverbend Ranck, Omaha Steaks, ones in foreign language Gefeliciteerd, Walmart, UK Health and so many more.
They are unwanted and not welcome. I have put the settings at the highest. It doesn't stop the.
I report and block them which is a waste of my time. It takes a lot of time. The number of them keeps increasing and Microsoft need to fix their filters and stop them all!!!
These emails do not come into my gmail account so it shows it can be done.

Account recovery and customer support are inaccessible
I am locked out of my Outlook/Microsoft account and the experience has been genuinely inaccessible, disabling and quite frankly distressing.
If you can’t sign in, Microsoft’s support system becomes a maze of automated loops. The account recovery form is long, stressful, and opaque, with no clear feedback, no realistic timeline of what to expect, and no way to speak to a human being. If it fails, you are simply sent back to the same form again. As someone with a literal disability that is linked to filling out forms and understanding written processes- this is not acceptable.
There is no meaningful escalation path for people who cannot sign in — which is exactly when support is most needed. Even Microsoft’s accessibility support cannot help with account recovery, leaving disabled users with no accommodations or alternatives.
This isn’t just frustrating; it’s exclusionary. Losing access to an email account can mean losing access to essential services, work, and personal data, and Microsoft provides no humane or accessible way to resolve it.
I expect better from a company of this size. Until Microsoft offers real, accessible human support for account recovery, this system will continue to lock people out with no recourse.
I am still not even sure what is happening next with my account which is worrying as I have lots of important things linked to this.

Lagging like crazy now a-days. I used to be a fan of hotmail but it was ruined. So I used outlook and now that the quality has dropped I use gmail. I can't keep giving out second chances. On top of this,. Windows 11 is a joke. I will probably switch to linux before the end of the year.

Changed my family role to child and locked devices
Signed me out on all devices and locked me out of my account claiming I was a child even though I am in my 20s. I then had to send a "parental login request" to a family member. One of the listed parents was myself, on that exact account.
Seized control over my account and devices and gave it to a random family member, violation of privacy. My account was not hacked, this was microsoft's own fault.
Date of birth once logged in shows as the correct one.

Oh dear ..... this seems to be a regular thing for me ..... I seem to be writing up complaints and concerns about companies I once admired , but , I seem to have no love for , or is that the other way around ?
I tied for the last half an hour or so to get logged on / into my email account only for Microsoft to lock me out . Followed the instructions and gave all the correct details , only for Microsoft to reject every single response or answer I gave .
With all the bad press they have had thrown in their direction , you would think they would know better then to make more enemies of the public .
Not sure if I hate them more then Google , how has this happened ? How do these once great brands get it so wrong time and time again ?
Still unable to get into my account ..... Let this be a lesson , always have a secondary account , and NEVER with the same provider . If your unable to access one , then its more them likely you will not be able to access the other . So always have an alternative provider handy , I have learnt this the hard way in the 20 years of using emails . You have been warned .
Loyal customer gone!
I have been with xbox since xbox gold was a thing. Yet they now ask me for ID yet they have my information that they sell yet they block gaming because of it. This will make my ptsd worse. I will boycott their terrible new laws. They have lost a customer in me now. Nearly 20 years. This is the way you get treated. I cannot sign into my paid account. Changed password 17 times. The passkey and QR code lead me to a something went wrong page. So I tried to sign up for free apps and they said I have an account.
The 4 phone numbers do not connect to a person jsut spend time and end saying "Change your password, Goodbye"
Blatant Unauthorized Charges – Shame on Microsoft!
This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with Microsoft. If there was an option to rate -10, I wouldn’t hesitate for a second. Over the past 20 days, Microsoft has charged my card multiple times without any authorization or active subscriptions. None of these charges appear on my Microsoft account, I have no active services and yet the money keeps disappearing from my card as if I had approved it myself. When I contacted their support, instead of resolving the issue, they sent me a link asking me to enter my full card details, including the CVV, which is completely unacceptable and insecure. They gave me no clear explanation and just kept bouncing me around in circles, as if this was some minor misunderstanding and not an obvious case of unauthorized charges. These charges happened 5 times in a short period, and Microsoft claims they “don’t see anything.” The bank sees it, I see it but somehow Microsoft doesn’t. Instead of helping, they put the entire burden on the customer, which is disgraceful for a company of their size. This is a serious security issue and unfair business practice. I strongly advise against connecting any card to a Microsoft account. Their customer service is slow, careless, and completely uninterested in providing a real solution.

My email account has been hacked. When I try to log in, it sends a password reminder to an email account I do not own and did not set up.
When I try to contact Microsoft about this it is impossible to speak to anyone. Just an automated service that redirects me to a Web page where I cannot log in to my account at it has been hacked.
Microsoft continues to take monthly payments from my account for a word subscription which I cannot use because I cannot use my account because it has been hacked.
I've tried 3 different phone numbers supposedly to their customer support team but always the same AI redirection to an unusable website and impossible to speak to a human.
So now I have an email account I cannot access or shut down where a hacker can access all my personal and private information and there is literally nothing I can do to prevent this. And I'm paying over £100 a year to Microsoft which I cannot stop from leaving my bank account.

Microsoft charged me for Clipchamp Premium and blocked my account . I have tried the recovery form more than 10 times without any solution — support does not respond, even here in Japan.
I used Clipchamp free version to edit videos for my YouTube channel. Recently, I purchased Premium, with an annual charge of about ¥1,300, but my account was blocked without explanation.
I have filled the account recovery form multiple times, but the system does not accept my information. There is no human support, no chat, phone, or functional email.
Even in Japan, support does not work properly, and my local bank (Shiga Bank) requires complicated procedures to block the debit.
I am paying for a service I cannot use, losing time and affecting my work.
I request:
Immediate cancellation of Clipchamp Premium
Full refund of the charged amount
Block any future charges

I have no complains about Microsoft except one, and it's a BIG one!! Their reward program is unfair and discriminates against anyone without a mobile phone. Whereas before I was able to collect rewards without a problem, now they're being withheld from me because they won't accept any ID except a mobile phone number, which I don't have at this time. I've emailed them several times about this and get a crazy runaround; they say a lot of nothing, sort of like a politician's speech, so that's no use. I think this policy is unfair and discriminatory, and resent having accumulated rewards (and being reminded of this) and then they won't let me collect them.

Locked out of my account I accessed the admin portal and created a ticket, support called me maybe 6 times that day and resolved nothing, I did feel like I was caught in a scam, every phone call held no substance or assistance, I am still locked out of an account Microsoft should have access to unlock or assist me in doing so. A day goes by, more phone calls with 0 assistance being given, just talking about the same thing that does not address my issue. Felt like a scam loop. It shouldn't not be this difficult.
