Recently moved house with Ace and they were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble from arranging a survey to booking my move to the actually move day itself. This made me feel a lot more relaxed on moving day as its something I haven't done very much and I was especially nervous about as I was struggling to get an accurate moving date from my solicitors. Friendly, Efficient, Careful, Hardworking and Brilliant!

We had a complicated house move by virtue of stupidly aiming to exchange and complete on the same day. (Top tip: never do this.) The move was on, then off, then on again; such uncertainty. During the ‘off’ period we let our first removal company go, then couldn’t get them back. And so we came to book Ace. They were fantastic. They had a real ‘get the job done’ approach, and never stopped. As with the other review that I read, they perhaps underestimated the amount of stuff that we had and how long the whole job would take, but I cannot fault them and their work ethic. I would use them again.

Ace removal came out and looked at the amount of stuff we had advising it would take 2.5hrs to load and 2.5hrs to unload -it would be one trip. The job from start to finish actually took 8 hrs and two trips at charge of £70 an hour this was an extra £210 with a total cost of moving us of £560. This was very stressful day due to the extra time it took to move us. When I challenged this company on how long it took to move us against their initial view of one trip and 5 hrs they weren't willing to negotiate at all. Ace removal admitted they had underestimated how much stuff we had. They advised they couldn't have worked any quicker -I beg to differ. It got to the point we were helping them lift things off the van (I was 5 months pregnant at the time!) I have never had to do this with any another company. I made them aware that I was not happy to pay £560 but they took the money off me regardless advising they were on an hourly rate. My advise is AVOID this company.
