Over the last 3 years I’ve ordered 7 trees from these guys, they deliver next day if you order early enough, and always do their best to follow requests regarding tree shape and habit. The trees have all been extremely healthy and showing beautiful colour ! P&P is built in to the price so what you see is what you pay and most trees are accompanied by many photos of the tree through the growing season
All in all very happy with all my dealings with acersonline
I thought I would have a go at growing Japanese maples after reading a number of books and articles on the subject. I did want to purchase from a specialist grower and after a few hours searching, over a number of days, I found Acersonline. I purchased two trees initially - one small, one medium. The packaging was specialist, the service next day and the delivery cost was built into the cost of the acer. Each acer was packaged and dispatched individually but both arrived at the same time. The tree quality was first rate (okay i'm inexperienced but that's my opinion anyway). I was so impressed I followed this initial order with two other orders spaced apart. I did have occasion to correspond with Acersonline and they were very helpful indeed. I also rated the up-to-date website and ease of purchasing.
Worked well for me - I've ordered an Acer (Eddisbury), it arrived quickly and well packaged, and I'm satisfied with it.
This seems to be mostly offline nursery - website is basic (they have XXX placeholder in terms and conditions!), but the catalog and selection are very good and the quality seems OK too.
I have just received my Acer Palmatum 'Sunshine', boxed up like The Crown Jewels. Very impressive ordering and customer services. As the tree was barren and seasonally dormant when zi placed my order, I was thoughtfully sent a photograph of the very tree that had been selected for me, prior to packaging and despatch. It was clearly in good condition and nicely shaped. The well protected tree was promptly delivered within 48 hours from ordering on line. I am looking forward so seeing it bud and emerge into leaf in early spring. An excellent service. Well done Acers Online. I shall be ordering again I am sure.
I bought an Acer Palmatum - Orangeola - 3 Litre Pot online in March this year which arrived in a well oversized box so was quite disappointed with its size and also its condition when removed. I hadn't known what to expect and it did have a few leaves so duly planted it in the hope all would be ok...unfortunately it didn't recover, soon lost its leaves and is now totally dead and rotten....very disppointed and I won't be buying from here again..... £32 totally wasted.
Ordered a Japanese Maple tree, wasn't 100% sure about the website but it arrived safely 2 days after ordering, so very pleased with that :)
The companies behind the website seem to be EM Agriton Ltd / EM Effective Micro-Organisms Ltd
