Really don’t know what to make of this…
Really don’t know what to make of this company, asked unnecessary questions totally unrelated to a solar installation that I chose not to answer. Then, told that my property didn’t meet conditions required to install panels - this totally contradicted surveys carried out by a number of other registered/certified installers, two of which are linked to utility providers. Have gone ahead with another company who have successfully installed similar system configurations within my estate. Bizarre, I can only assume Activ8 cherrypick the work they wish to undertake.
In response to activ8energies.com reply 13/07 - as stated in my review, questions asked were totally unrelated to a solar installation, they were not quality, safety or design related. Furthermore, this statement from activ8energies.com ‘ Our assessment process is designed to ensure that every installation is technically suitable and complies with our internal quality, safety, and design standards’ does this imply that those installers who carried out in-person surveys at my property are less focused on their quality, safety and design standards and that their installations are not technically suitable?

The company was easy to contact
The company was easy to contact. I received all the information I required when needed it and in advance of installation. Flexibility was shown in relation to the installation. The team turned up on the day of installation on time, explained the process and delivered. Explanations were given and a return visit made to finalise matters.

Fantastic service from start to finish… Top Class
Fantastic service from start to finish - Sales, Customer Service, Site Survey and Installation Team. Our installation was complicated by the fact that it involved the decommissioning and removal of an existing Solar Thermal system. However, the entire process was a very efficient with minimal disruption. I was also very impressed by the installations teams attention to detail and in particular their focus on Health & Safety. Great communication from the Activ8 team throughout the process and very helpful at all times. I would Highly recommend Activ8.

Friendly and effecient installation
The installation team arrived at the exact appointed time, 8am. The Team lead / Electrician identified himself, described what they would be doing and when they expected to be finished. The electrician answered all questions, demonstrated equipment and use of the Solis app. The team completed a thorough clean up before departing at the expected finishing time of 2pm.

Very happy with the installation experience
The installation team arrived exactly on time and took about 4 hours to install 10 panels plus and the necessary connections etc. They did a lovely tidy job. Everything was fully explained before they left.
