Its been swallowed into DNA Payments…

Its been swallowed into DNA Payments and a web of faceless poorly run companies that can't run a bath.
There is no customer care, thought or support of value. Even the direct debits don't get collected properly or accurately and when you ask for VAT invoice it never arrives.

One of the most horrible companies to work with. I've cancelled my account with them over 3 years ago and sent back the card machine but they still sending me bills to pay. Stay away of them. Once you signed a contract with them there's no way you can get rid of them.

I worked for active payments

I worked for active payments before, during and after they merged with the DNA payments group. What was once a budding, accurately ran enterprise, fell apart under control of DNA management teams.
They had no knowledge of the basic hardware active payments were using and just didn't care to resolve any issues with the operation. Or it was always too complicated or painful.
Merchant, client, customer interest are not at the heart of this groups operation. Almost every contract, every extra, every sales agent, every everything is designed to lock you into long contracts and extract AS MUCH from you as they possibly can.
I enjoyed the job, DNA group ruined it.

They're trying to charge me £16,800 as an exit fee. No mention of this before signing the contract which I think is grossly negligent, even if it was in the contract - it's a big deal.
Avoid like the plague and use another payments provider.

Question what they are offering you

This company made an error with insufficient information when I purchased a 2 year plan 2019.
The agent admitted that in 11 years no one was familiar with the particular circumstances of the SIM card that needed to be renewed if not in use for 3 months.
The outcome caused me a loss of £400 in sales that Active Payments would not acknowledge as a result of their incompetence.
I am wary of companies that fail to have open dialogue and pass the blame to the client.
All should go well if you have no problems, a straight forward procedure but check the details thoroughly as they will remove themselves from responsible, good PR.
If they respond favourably to my needs from this review then I would happily praise them and recommend them for their hindsight and reparation.
After all, life is a learning process.
Management may not learn of agents’ simple errors, nobody is perfect, we all have bad days.
But management should be kept informed in order to maintain the image of the company, the role of all staff.

Further to this the company accepted no responsibility for their failure to inform me that I could no longer use the system after 3 months of non-use and the contract I that form could not be resumed. I received no refund or offer to compensate for their poor customer service.
