I have had issues with the new software but these were rectified promptly. Very good team!

With regards to the new update there have been significant issues that have caused major disruption. However, the issues have now been fixed and the team were very helpful with trying to sort the issues.
I did prefer the old version to the new upgrade but nevertheless all ok now.

Activ People HR works well for us as company and allows us to easily manage, staff reports, absence, holiday requests etc. Simple for Staff to use with minimal training.

It would have been five stars if it were not for the Timesheet function has proved troublesome. It has not worked correctly since we started using it. We finally reverted back to a locally produced form which kind of defeats the object of having an online system.

In our search for a suitable absence monitoring system for our business, we diligently explored the market and ultimately chose Activ Absence. While our onboarding process presented its own set of challenges (we arguably weren’t the easiest customer to onboard!), Activ displayed exceptional understanding and adaptability throughout, guiding us successfully through the implementation phase. The impact of this system on our ability to track, monitor, and manage employee absences has been just what we are hoping for.

The user-friendly nature of Activ Absence has been instrumental in garnering widespread support from our stakeholders, streamlining our operations, and improving overall efficiency. We wholeheartedly endorse this solution, especially for businesses venturing into absence management systems for the first time. Additionally, Activ Absence proves to be an excellent 'value for money' option, making it an ideal choice, even for those with budget constraints.

We have found this solution to do exactly what we set out to achieve and would certainly recommend Activ Absence to others seeking an effective solution in the realm of absence management.

Active People has changed the way I manage staff and has taken a manual paper based HR system off my hands as it is now fully electronic. My staff can request annual leave directly and they can record timesheets prior to submission. Excellent time saving tool which I would highly recommend. I have 9 staff and could not do without Active People

They did a UI upgrade which makes the platform slower and made zero attempt to contact anyone at the business to make sure we knew how to use the new features.
I received more emails about giving a review than about the upgrade. So here's your review.

Software upgraded and missing some key functions to allow accurate record keeping and management.

Active People has changed how I manage my staff, this is easy to use, run reports, plot annual leave, manage staff sickness, I would recommend. When I have needed support the help desk have been quick to respond

Found it impossible to move a member of staff off a rigid shift pattern onto some different days required. Advice from Activ was "set up a new shift for that person". What? Every time I need a person to move off shift temporarily I must create a new shift pattern ??? So while many features in Activ are good...for the end user, it is really really hard to administer. Way too rigid. Complex admin. Support was not great. Went back to a drag n drop excel. 2 seconds to make a date change for employee

My school has been working with Activ Absence and the team at Codel for a number of years and I cannot recommend them more highly. Fantastic platform which has allowed me to streamline our staff absence management / HR processes hugely, so much so that we have seen a significant improvement in the level of staff absences.
The team are always polite, helpful and amazingly open to feedback as well as ideas of things we as customers would potentially like to see the system do.
I have recommended to a number of other schools within our LA and will continue to do so.

I have been with Activ since 2011 when we started out with the Absence Management module (ActivAbsence). Over time we have added more modules and now have a comprehensive HRIS which suits our business and staffing needs.
The desktop and modules are very intuitive and easy to navigate.
The helpdesk is very responsive and found all support, queries and issues are always dealt with promptly.
We are a manufacturing business with 34 staff and ActivePeopleHR has been a cost-effective HR solution for us.

I have been using Activ HR for 16 months predominantly for recording staff details and absence recording. Activ HR is very easy to use and staff are able to access the system with ease. As an employee I find it simple to book holidays, update my details. As the administrator it is easy to create reports, access information etc. We have nearly 80 employees.
The administration support staff at Activ are excellent. Both Jordan and Erika have always been quick to respond to queries and always provide full explanations.

They seem Great, Polite Staff, Called when they said they would, which is very refreshing!
