Act On This and its community has been an absolute game changer for me. The industry has changed so much and Ross & Petch have created, not only a supportive community of like minded actors, but also provided an invaluable platform where I can learn so much and have access to information I just wouldn’t have had without them. Every actor should have this incredible resource. You won’t regret it :)

I was somewhat sceptical of Act on This beforehand tbh, but I gave it a try thanks to a great starter option. As I first logged in, I saw an open invitation from Ross, who runs it, to contact him for any reason. And when I did, I was also pretty unsure he’d actually reply!… But actually he did, and not with some generic 2 liner, but addressing in some depth what I’d requested help about and pointing me to helpful podcasts on the platform particularly FOR ME!

I was so impressed and quite moved actually and have since joined calls to realise that these are not just generic interviews about dis and donts etc. but about finding out who is casting NOW, how they work and how to contact them!

Basically you need to be on this platform to be in the know!

Ross works hard to help actors with their goal of doing what they are passionate about for a living. There's a fantastic contact database and access to interviews with industry professionals. Would thoroughly recommend!

Act On This has really helped my career. I have learned more from the webinars than I would have done if I'd have gone to drama school. Act on This is THE best network for any actors and people wanting to get started in the industry. Top casting directors, directors, actors and industry experts share actionable insight. Its also an amazing community where you can get help, support and feedback from the member community. Its a safe space to ask questions about the industry. Ross and Petch have developed something very special and I cannot imaging a world without it. If you are wanting to develop your acting or just start out - there is no other place to be. I have been inspired by the hours and hours of content that's uploaded on the site from the regular zoom sessions with industry professionals. These people are casting the big shows, the people directing the big shows and the people in the big shows. Joining Act on This will be one of the best investments you make in your acting journey. Plus if you get the annual membership you get an invaluable database of all the main agents / casting directors. Contact details you can use once you have your acting house in order. One other point is sometimes the zooms are Ross and Petch discussing life and importance to not just to focus on acting - mental health and wellbeing is also very much at the heart of the community. Yes we are all wanting to do well but don't take your eye of the health ball - Mindset is very much a part of it and this really helps with those rejections and keeping positive.

I’ve only just signed up with ActOnThis so I’m still learning what they have to offer, otherwise I may have given the full five.
There is so much information on here and I’m slowly working my through it all, but gained so much knowledge already. So glad I have been able to join this community.

As someone new to the industry and unsure of my next steps, I really needed guidance and direction in my new career. After just a couple of weeks with the team, I’ve already learned so much. It’s not the easiest industry to break into, but Ross and the team give you the confidence to keep moving forward. Exactly what I needed. Thank you.

Shame about the fact some of the recorded content has to be deleted at some point, so you won’t find everything that was recorded on it when you become a premium member, but other than that I would recommend it highly to all actors. I recently purchased an annual subscription to ActOnThis TV and am so far very impressed with the resources and materials included; weekly webinars, online courses and Q&As with industry professionals, extensive database of industry contacts. Communication is great and customer service is friendly, personable and efficient.

Having recently joined I can honestly say that Act on This is a great platform to gain help and information. It is proactive and everyone I’ve had contact with seems hugely supportive. Great value for all that it can provide.

Act On This is really good especially if you’re just starting out in the industry and are feeling a little bit lost! There’s a big community of other actors who are really supportive and happy to answer any questions you may have. The weekly webinars that Ross hosts are also incredibly insightful, each week bringing big names from the industry where they share their thoughts and guide you into the right direction of your career. In classes you tend to learn a lot more about the practical side of acting, so on here it’s really interesting to learn a lot more about the theory side & get tips from people who are highly experienced in the industry!

Absolutely love this platform. I only came across this platform two weeks ago and I have already learnt so much. The speakers and guests are next level. The sessions are supper informative and you always leave with knowledge you didn’t have before. The cost is very affordable and there is plenty of support and advice in the community sections of the site.

Joined two weeks ago after meeting Ross at an in-person talk for Just Add Milk mini Jam in london. Decided to check out his site and I’ve been bingeing hours of content. Long chats with casting directors & directors sharing vital information to help inspire and grow your career. Ross & the gang genuinely want to help and inform actors with as much industry help and advice. Honestly try it out. The content is invaluable and it’s a lovely community.

Act on This - where do I start? Live broadcasts with top Casting Directors literally telling you how to contact them? Advice on how to nail self-tapes? The Ultimate Contacts Database? Joining Act on This is a no-brainer. On a more personal level, being part of Act on This has made me part of a whole community. I am new to the industry and the sense of belonging it has given me has already proved invaluable.

Great bunch, great info, worth it!

I have learnt so much from Ross and Petch so far, as they are both friendly, funny and so knowledgably.
I've studied in Screen, TV and Film at University, but I haven't had any work on TV. Hopefully this platform will support me to have access to TV, as I would love to have lots of opportunities going forwards.
