Not good enough

I purchased a GPS computer from them as it was in stock and £10 cheaper, I ordered it and paid for expedited shipping (2-3 days)

Little did I know the shop is based in France and expedited 3 day shipping means 3 days from whens its posted not from when they take the money from your bank. The GPS took a week to arrive, when it did I returned it.

Another faff, sending something back to France that has batteries in !? £10 later, insured and signed for, it arrived with them on the Monday. After 4 emails and 10 calls (the phone line doesn't work that well) I finally persuaded them to refund after a week. Really only due to the fact I raised a Paypal claim.

Never again, too much competition out there to faff with customers.

Bad customer service

I just bought on this website because I saw .co.uk and never imagine that came from France, my parcel take 10 days to arrive and 5 of those traveling in France side!? Never again 😡

Initially not certain about purchasing from a supplier based abroad. But had a very prompt service even quicker than a UK supplier I also used the same day.

Worst experience

Ordered an expensive set of Mavic wheels and Time pedals from this company over three weeks ago and I haven't received a thing. The number in the UK is next to useless, no one answers and you hardly ever get a response to your emails. Definitely give this company a miss, you probably won't receive your goods and I'll update Trust Pilot when I find out if I get my refund! Jeremy Cheltenham UK

Very Poor! No communication! STILL WAITING ON REFUND!!

Placed a few orders with these guys prior to my most recent DEBACLE and genuinely have had no trouble whatsoever.
Decent comms, good price and swift delivery.
Unfortunately my most recent order has left a very sour taste in the mouth.
The product didn't fit so I decided to send back for a refund.
Knowing they were in France I paid extra for international signed and tracked postage with Royal Mail.
Almost 40 days after posting I am still waiting on a refund! I can see from the Royal Mail track and trace portal that the goods have been received and signed for but they are claiming the goods were never received!
I have called a number of times (seems to just ring out) and my emails (with the exception of one reply) are falling on deaf ears. It seems strange how they can respond to one email but ignore the other 10 or so I have sent.
The parcel has been delivered to the returns address shown on their website. This is proven by the tracked and signed for confirmation on the Royal Mail website. I even sent them the track and trace reference but this was also ignored.
Now, I don't run a business but I would say first day at business school would be customer is king and do everything you can to help and retain your customers!
This lot are failing spectacularly on this!
All I ask is that they talk to me and help me help them to find this parcel and get my refund processed!
Don't think that is too much to ask.
I won't be using Acycles again and would advise others to proceed with caution.
Worst online shopping experience I have had.

Bought a saddle and they sent me a different one

Bought a saddle and they sent me a different one, very cheap quality saying that they run OoS and have sent a similar replacement. All this without sending me an acceptance e-mail or option for a refund. I was concerned about my money and accepted a discount from Simon. Crap company.

Good service from acycles

I had to order some replacement straps for my Sidi cycling shoes ,these straps are for some reason unavailable in the UK ,my order was despatched quickly and I was keep informed of its progress , highly recommend company .

Mavic Wheel

I used Acycles for the first time to by a replacement front wheel for my winter bike. The service was first rate. Super speedy delivery and a good price. Will revisit Acycles again :-)

NEVER AGAIN FROM ACYCLES

They send wrong item and for the last week trying everyday to call them and emails to them but no response.
This is the first time in my life had this kind of support basically they don't have support

Easy, smooth, perfect

Purchased the bike from the UK on the Friday and it got delivered on the Tuesday as promised. All went through very smoothly and i will be ordering more bits from them soon.

Good prices; packaging terrible - resulting in missing parts

I used Acycles to buy a pair of Ritchey bars and a Miche cassette (Acycles offer sprocket combinations others do not). When I received the products I found that they had just been placed in a box with nothing else, so just left to rattle around. The Miche cassette had come off its spline and all the cogs and spacers were rattliing around loose in the box. The problem was that two spacers were missing (presumably fallen out of the box in transit - the box wasn't even fully taped-up) - fortunately I have spare spacers from previous cassettes. The lucky thing was that the sprockets hadn't damaged the enamel finish on the bars. Would I use them again - yes to source products not available from someone else, but if Wiggle, Ribble, Chain Reaction etc etc had the product and was much the same price, then I would buy from them. Easy for Acycles to solve - spend 5 minutes making sure that the products are packed properly!!

A Good Product

This is a good product which lives up to expectations. However I did experience a problem with delivery. Your tracker informed me that the parcel had been left at a post office without sayng which one! As an attempt at home delivery had been made a card through my letter box informing me of which branch of the post office the parcel had been left would haved saved me an unnecessary journey!

UK buyers beware!!!

To UK buyers, Acycles appears to be UK-based, with contact details - email and phone - making it appear that they are in the UK. However, when it comes to returns, only an address in France is available, making a 'signed for' return (in my case a pair of tyres) prohibitively expensive, at over £11.00.

I feel duped by Acycles and will never buy from them again. The tyres are on ebay.

unacceptable

Ordered a turbo trainer from acycles as they were the only ones who had it in stock. Delivery from GLS was prompt considering but that's where the positives end.

The box was in very poor condition and clearly had been damaged previously and was held together by packing tape.

This trainer requires a power source to operate and upon opening the box I discovered it was a Euro 2 pin plug. No info regarding this on their .co.uk website and shipping this to the UK surely someone should at least inform me that I would need a adaptor?

Now I have a trainer I am wary could be faulty due to the condition of its packaging but can't even try it as I can't plug it in.

To top it off I've now emailed them twice with no response , will be seeking a full refund.

Very poor service.
