Awful - avoid

Awful. Product was faulty and the exhange I got was an already used/damaged product. Has been over 12 months and no resolution! Do not deal with.

A horrible company to deal with

Here's the short summary: Uses a .co.uk web address, but based in France. Lists items as "in stock" when they may not be. Very, very slow to reply when there is a problem. Item descriptions not always accurate. They take no responsibility when they make a mistake. If they make a mistake you will still have to pay return shipping. I would not recommend anyone use this company, they are the worst online retailer I have dealt with.

Here's what happened to me:
I ordered an item of clothing because it was listed as in stock with 3-5 day delivery and I wanted to use it during the summer. When, after a week I got no delivery or notification from Acycles I emailed them. Several days later I had a reply, saying that the manufacturer had been "hacked", and was experiencing problems. Not only did this sound like bull****, but also the item was supposed to be in stock...why should the manufacturer be at fault? After more emails and excuses, eventually the item was delivered after two weeks.

When the item was delivered it was completely different from what I ordered. I immediately contacted Acycles. Again, long delays in getting a response to multiple emails.

In the end they said that the manufacturer had stopped supplying the product I ordered...even though it was still listed on the Acycles website (and was still listed as "in stock" until a few days ago). More emails back and forth, with me asking for a refund and payment of my return shipping costs. No satisfactory result.

Finally I got fed up with dealing with them, and raised a complaint through PayPal. I will get my money back for the original order, but still had to pay return shipping (tracked, to France). So, I am out of pocket even though the error was Acycles fault.

When things go well Acycles is probably fine. However, when things go wrong, they are terrible. They accept no responsibility for their own mistakes.

You can be as careful as you like in ordering an item, but if Acycles "accidentally" send you the wrong item you are stuck. You will have to pay return shipping, and it will take weeks to get a refund (It has been over two months since my original order and I still don't have my money back).

I don't know any other online retailer that behaves like this, and I would strongly warn anyone against using Acycles..

Bicycle not shipped after more than one month.

I never had a so bad experience of online shopping. I bought and paid with Pay Pal at the end of June one DAHON folding-bike. At the begging of August I got no news about any shipment or courier track. After several email badly written, probably using Google translator, where they were saying that the requested color was not available (very unprofessional if they put on the catalogue something which is not available), and so I accepted a different color, I got again only excuses and promises but no shipment. I then decided for the Pay-Pal reimbursement and I went to another online seller and I got the bike in 3 working days. In the meantime they thus harmed my vacation with my family because one bike was missing ......

Ordered a wheelset

Delivery time was supposed to be 4-6 days. 10 days after ordering, 3 emails, and after claiming my money back with Paypal, I got a message that my wheelset was shipped.

9 days later it arrived. Given that they did not respond to emails, and were severly delayed I would not order from them again.
