I appreciate that they provide a lot of resources to study and practice for the exams. However, there were endless grammar errors in the questions, which mostly created more confusion about the content. A lot of the practice questions had fundamental issues. The site provides a way to raise these issues, but they never get responses - or the ones that get responses with promises to fix the issues never actually get resolved (you can see issues raised from years ago with a staff responses promising to update the questions, but they questions are still the same when reviewed presently).
Then, there's the customer support you contact via email. I mostly communicated with the Client Success Manager - Ava. This person would often take a rude tone in her emails, almost like she felt you were interrupting her day. If your job is to provide support to your customers, you shouldn't make it seem like it's such a chore to help/guide them when they need it. For what I paid for this service, I am quite disappointed with the experience.

I am glad that I chose Adaptive US for my CBAP journey. I am so thankful to the instructors who are highly committed to educating the students and sharing methods as well as techniques that can be applied at work. The course structure is intuitive and promotes self learning with milestones and reminders. The Q&A sessions and the simulations helped track the performance. Also, thankful to the entire team of Adaptive US and people who work behind the scenes to bring this all together. I highly recommend them and their CBAP Master Class is worth investing in! If you have a goal and timeline in mind to attempt CBAP, I recommend them 100%.

Adaptive US is an EEP of IIBA which provides the best study materials for all the IIBA core and specialized certifications. I have taken my CCBA with them and was highly satisfied with the study materials, course instructors and after the support. The highlighter is that they take the success guarantee for the candidate making them more accountable to what they deliver. I highly recommend their courses for IIBA certification aspirants.

I stumbled upon Adaptive a year ago when I decided to prepare for CBAP and I am glad I chose the right one! I am methodical when it comes to preparation and given how overwhelming BABoK can get, I would try and come up with my own way of preparing notes or breaking the concepts down for easier understanding/ remembering, and then when I go through the course material on Adaptive, that's already there. The Adaptive team has thought through anything and everything a student might need to get the much needed clarifications on some of the confusing concepts/terminologies. For any doubt that may arise in the midst of your preparation, you would notice that there's either a Blog a graphic with explanation, a tabular representation which would not only help you ace the exam, but would stay with you to help you with your day-do-day activities as a BA. The instructors are pretty knowledgeable and engaging sharing their experiences making the lesson more valuable. The whole team is very responsive and any issue you might face is solved within hours. Thank you Adaptive! I will continue to work with you for a few more certifications I intend to achieve!

I thought for sure Adaptive's claim that you can get certified in 3 months was crazy but I proved myself wrong, and I'm soooo happy! I imaged that claim was for students - I work full time and have a busy life, but I'm competitive and I got into it. And I got certified in 3.5 months!!
One of the things about Adaptive US is that they appropriately stress the seriousness of the exam. Don't take this lightly - I studied 45 hours in the last 3 weeks of my exam and, sure, I scored "Higher" than the average student in every category (from IIBA's remarks) but still, it takes a lot to get an ECBA (let alone to smash it).
I'll back up. I work full-time and I have a new puppy this year. None of this was easy (including the puppy! :), but LN and the team issue out how much time you need to commit, in their Excel, if you want to smash it in 3 months. It felt impossible, but with the videos, study guides, flash cards, and model sheets, it broke down (or decomposed if you want in on some BA humor) the major concepts and made it easy to pass the barrier from memorization to comprehension. Because you need to be able to apply the knowledge to pass the ECBA, it's not all definitional. Already, I've used my skills in my job (running a lessons learned session!) and seen 8 of the techniques listed in some job browsing. This is real.
3.5 months later, I'm decompressing because I worked so hard, I don't know what to do next. But I know I'll use the materials and knowledge from Adaptive US in my career and volunteer work for life. I appreciate Adaptive US for coming true on their promises... and answering my 12 emails before the exam. I had the Self-Guided Study package, by the way, and I found it had way more than I needed. Thank you, Adaptive team!

I purchased the Adaptive US CBAP Self-paced training for CBAP and passed the CBAP exam on the first attempt. The CBAP training package was very helpful. The bite-size videos with solid real live work examples given by the instructor were a plus. In fact, the whole training serves very well for getting more grounded and solid hands-on Business Analysis experience for the workplace. There are also more than enough practice exam-style questions to build the mindset required to succeed in the exam. I am very pleased I went for Adaptive US training and I highly recommend it.

The Adaptive US virtual CBAP preparation course was very informative and engaging. I learned a lot of valuable information that has enriched my job and prepared me well to pass my IIBA CBAP exam on the first attempt. The course includes an extensive library of study and reference materials for download and to keep.

Most of the course instructors, particularly Lara Patton, were very kind, patient, and knowledgeable. However, my classes with instructor (and Adaptive co-founder?) LN Mishra were not pleasant. Some of his behavior included speaking curtly, calling out and putting participants on the spot to quiz us in front of the rest of the class, and belittling us for not paying attention when incorrect or no answers were given.

Regardless of Mishra's intentions, his attitude and choice of language were offensive, borderline unprofessional, and antithetical to the spirit of learning. As a principal business analyst who has been in this field for ten years, I did not appreciate spending as much money as I did for this course to be treated like a grade school student. Mishra and his colleagues would do well to remember that we, your students, are your stakeholders. Please adopt a more collaborative and less pejorative approach to your teaching.

I particularly liked the practice exam questions and especially the simulations. Compared to other similar learning platforms, the learning platform was extremely helpful for my ECBA certification preparation

I did my CBAP training with Adaptive US. The trainer, LN sir, has extensive real-life experience in business analysis and his teaching and explanation are easy-to-understand real-life examples. The content and question bank provided on their portal are reassuring. I recommend them to anyone preparing for ECBA/CCBA/CBAP. Thank you, Adaptive US.

The CBAP course at Adaptive US were highly simplified, easy to understand. The part I loved most is the self paced learning platform, practice exam questions and the simulations. I would highly recommend this course to aspiring and even experienced BAs preparing for the certification examination

Excellent and detailed training is provided by equally qualified trainers/professionals at AdaptiveUS. Their library of resources, such as test banks, study guides, courseware and great simulations, provides some excellent learning and simulation environment for tests. The trainers/Faculty keep their students engaged, and there is a good time for Q&A.

I had a great experience with Adaptive and they made it possible for me. A very accommodative and helpful team of people. Great source of knowledge. I would highly recommend upgrading the skills.

I passed my exam in first attempt and this website made it so easy for me and it was so helpful, I love how user friendly is the website and made every topic so easy to understand.

I didn't receive my CBDA Question Bank after purchasing (I didn't recieve email containing the link for the product, may be problem in the server and sure it is not in the spam folder) And order is written in my account fulfilled and trying to login again it gives me wrong password and tried using forgot password it gives me this email is not registered (because of the same problem of the server ) , But Customer Care contacted me the second day and sent to me another link and everything is fine now and the product is good as described.

The Self-guided ECBA training program is average and there is much room for improvement. Before I dive in, I want to say that it is clear that Mr. L N Mishra is an experienced and highly knowledgeable BA professional with a passion for helping others advance in BA. He seems like the type of coworker you would truly enjoy working with and learning from, and who would also be the ultimate mentor.

Once the course has been completed, you are given a detailed study plan, (among other useful exam preparation materials), to help you stay on track.

A) The recorded lectures are not great:
1. Presentation is not clear and concise
2. Too much wasted time on every video with advertisements and unnecessary introductions
3. The information itself feels incomplete and there are almost no supporting visuals to reinforce what is being presented
4. The speaker is simply not engaging

B) Study guides help fill in gaps left by the lectures, but again, there are questionable decisions
1. Why is there one study guide for every lesson, each with the advertisements, copyrights restrictions, etc? This is inefficient! Just combine them with a linkable TOC
2. The crossword puzzles probably do not add much value
3. Same thing with the quizzes - just put the question on Thinkific (I think they are already there)
4. It feels like the information is not presented in a consistent manner one study guide to the next

C) There are two types of quizzes; concept and knowledge-based.

The knowledge based quizzes do provide an explanation as to which is the correct answer with reference to the BaBok.
1. Some of the questions are poorly worded and use awkward phrasing
2. In my opinion, the quizzes are pretty effective at testing your understanding of the concepts covered in the chapter

D) Recorded webinars
1. The recordings of past webinars were better than I expected them to be. I found them to be much more informative then the recorded lectures, perhaps because the information was presented with helpful slides and more in-depth conversation.
2. However, the webinars that you are given access to are from different sessions, meaning there is no continuity. The trainer in one of the sessions might refer to something covered in the previous webinar that you did not watch.

The exam preparation materials are pretty good and I was able to improve them, which I am thankful for.

I paid $150 for this course, not giving any importance to the "pass guarantee"and additional benefits offered by the master class instruction. I think the price is fair.

The reason I chose the cheapest option is because not having the "pass guarantee or Adaptive pays for the rewrite exam" is an incentive for me to make sure I have learned all of the concepts before scheduling the exam. Unlike in the PMI world, I have not much of a clue as to what to expect with the ECBA exam.

I have found the 1st 2 classes of the ECBA training to be a waste of time. The instructor has spent most of the time either googling random data (like how profitable Amazon is) and copying pics onto a new PowerPoint doc, than anything else. The last session he spent an hour having us read questions and choosing from the 4 options of what the answer would be, over topics we hadn’t even discussed. Then whenever the answer wasn’t what “he thought it should be”, he would spend time emailing IIBA that he thought the answer is wrong on their system. I really hope the other instructor teaching the next session is better! I’d recommend to anyone to buy just the self-guide study and not spend the extra $ on the instructor led sessions.

I really enjoyed the first two sessions and added that perhaps one could add more examples to the Areas and tasks to assist new BA to understand and comprehend the concepts. Working through the material before the start of the session also helped to embed the knowledge.
