I had a smooth and wonderful experience with ADHD active. I was well informed of the process and felt confident I was in good hands from the start. Tahmina, especially, was always prompt with responding to any queries I had or emails and was super friendly and supportive throughout the titration process.

absolutely outstanding experience

I’ve had an absolutely outstanding experience with ADHD Active. They genuinely care, and it shows in every part of the support they offer. Thanks to them, I received my ADHD diagnosis, and honestly, the difference it’s made to my day-to-day life is huge. I feel understood, supported, and actually able to move forward.

A massive thank you to ADHD Active.

I worked with Tahmina, and I’ve gotta say — I’m not exactly the simplest case with everything else going on, haha — but she handled it all with so much patience, understanding, and kindness.

Compassionate, person centred approach

Very short waiting time to get an appointment. Tahmina has been so compassionate and patient throughout, she was also very flexible and quick to respond to emails and queries. We worked together to find the right treatment, considering different aspects of my lifestyle etc. My life has changed for the better in so many ways since having a diagnosis and finding the right medication for me.

ADHD active are fantastic

Tahmina was so kind and understanding. I’m so glad I made the decision to go private as the NHS waiting list was just too long. I couldn’t recommend this service enough!

Supportive Throughout. A Positive Experience.

After waiting over 3 years on the NHS waiting list, I made the decision to go private for a ADHD assessment, in the hope that medication would help me with day to day life. I was reccommended to ADHD Active from someone who had a similar NHS experience to myself.
From the first appointment and throughout, Tahmina has been supportive, caring and always made me feel at ease. The tritation process was explained in simple terms for me, I completed this successfuly - finding medication that works well for me. I was in a very bad place before this, struggling to motivate myself specificaly at work - the positive difference to my life is huge. I never felt rushed during my appointments and I felt comfortable at all times.

Even after the process, I still feel supported by ADHD Active. Thanks!

Extremely happy with my decision

I am extremely happy with my decision to go with a diagnosis with ADHD active. Tahmina has been incredible and I couldn't thank her enough for guiding me through the process. She has been understanding, empathetic, patient and really grounded me through the entire process whilst reminding me of my accomplishments as I progressed with personal goals during titration. The journey has been an emotional one and to have her listen and so transparently understand my concerns has been extremely reassuring. I will forever be greatful to her for the support she has provided me with during this time.

Truly, Life Changing!

Honestly, My ADHD journey up until using ADHD active was a complete nightmare. It took me two years to even get to the point of being prescribed medication (This is with private companies, not NHS!) Purely because it was so difficult, my ADHD addled brain couldn't handle it!
However, once I got in contact with the lovely Tahmina, my journey was seamless. At every point in my titration journey, she was at the end of an email within a few hours. She was kinda, helpful and informative. Without her, I would still be struggling to get out of bed and live my life as a mum of two.

Because of this amazing company, I am able to focus on tasks I need to achieve and complete them to a decent standard! I'm so delighted to have found this amazing company and will be using them for all my ADHD needs going forward.

Thank you Tahmina!

Caring care

After trying several Psychiatrists and different ADHD organisations, I always ended up feeling betrayed. Somehow I needed to "prove" my difficulties. For the first time, I've felt heard, understood and honestly supported. Thanks Tahmina

Would recommend them to anyone.

I was on the NHS waitlist for quite a long while before I found ADHD Active. I sent in an email mentioning that I had pre-existing diagnosis paperwork, and could it be accepted, and had a call the very next day to talk about it and get me to send it over.

I dealt with Tahmina for all of my sessions, and every time I emailed her for various things or returning some forms, she always responded very quickly, even once had a short back and forth at ~8PM even.

I went from sat around on a waiting list to having a first appointment and getting to start out on my medication journey within what I think was about 7/8 days.

I had already recommended someone over to them before I'd finished my sessions because it was going so well, and I have absolutely 0 regrets about both starting medication, and choosing ADHD Active to do it with. My life and work has improved massively, and I cannot recommend Tahmina and both her incredible "customer support"(so to speak) and her help, enough.

They will absolutely be my go-to recommendation from now on if anyone asks.

Better than I ever expected!

Tahima at ADHD Active has been a saving grace when it came to helping me get a diagnosis and further care afterwards, she was very understanding and went above and beyond to help me. Tahima guided me every step of the way so I was never unsure of what to do or left wondering. I couldn't thank her enough for what she has done for me!

I cannot recommend ADHD active enough

I cannot recommend ADHD active enough! I feel like I have control of my life again, in just a short space of time I have had everything sorted and I’m now medicated. I have seen some huge improvements with some great advice and the offer of if I should need anything just to get in touch. Tahmina is so kind, caring, understanding and knowledgeable. There was absolutely no judgement and I felt she listened to everything I said and really took my experiences into consideration. I’m so pleased I took the leap and got the right support without the NHS waiting times.

Thank you Tahmina at ADHD Active!

I finally decided to get diagnosed for Adhd at the age of 48 and wish I had done it sooner! My life is so much easier now I have started on medication. Tahmina is the best, so proffesional and knowledgeable but also friendly and supportive. It was quite difficult to talk about myself in such a depth but Tahmina made it comfortable and she didn't judge. I had to try few different medications until I found the one that works the best for me and Tahmina was always willing to listen and advise during the process. Medication was sent straight away and I would receive it next day.

I would urge everyone who thinks they might have Adhd to get diagnosed and if they are looking for the best place to do it definitely contact Adhd Active.

Thanks you Tahmina for changing my life for the better!!

I recently had my ADHD assessment and I just wanted to say how positive the experience was. I was quite nervous going in, but my psychiatrist, Tahmina, was incredibly kind, patient, and easy to talk to. She made me feel comfortable straight away and really took the time to listen and understand what I was going through. It felt like I was finally being heard without any judgement. The whole process felt supportive and reassuring, and I’m really grateful for the care I received. Thank you, Tahmina – you made a big difference.

Tahmina was extremely helpful…

Tahmina was extremely helpful throughout my assessment. She was able to communicate well with my mum who isn’t the most fluent in english, while also providing a comfortable balance during the assessment. Tahmina was also extremely helpful in allowing a better understanding of ADHD and the steps I need to take to better my experience with it. Would 100% recommend ADHD Active.

Top-tier care from a knowledgeable, highly experienced, passionate, and friendly provider

I am a mature student returning to the education system after having crashed out of the traditional school system over a decade ago, my potential unreached. As an adult I was diagnosed as autistic but even ten years after this diagnosis I felt that it was still not painting a full picture of my particular idiosyncrasies, so I approached ADHD Active.

Tahmina responded to me almost immediately, sent me some preliminary forms as a brief screening to see whether a diagnostic assessment would be appropriate (and a good use of my money), and I had my assessment and diagnosis less than a week later. Initiating medication took another couple of months in my case, but this was because I personally happen to have some cardiac quirks I had to get investigated by my GP and subsequently correspond with a cardiologist; Tahmina really did her due diligence in making sure it was safe for me to take these drugs before she started me on them, and having been titrated with appropriate caution and now on a pretty good dose for several weeks it is apparent to me (and the people around me: colleagues, teachers, classmates, friends, and family) that they are tangibly improving my experience of life and equipping me to function well in college and beyond.

Tahmina herself is extremely approachable and easy to talk to, responds quickly to any queries, and her experience and knowledge of her subject area shows in everything she does. I have rarely met anybody who so clearly loves their job as much as Tahmina does, and she'll be the first to celebrate your progress with you; it is obvious that she cares about her patients and genuinely wants to help people to reach their potential, and she does so with diligence, careful consideration of all patient circumstances, and compassion. Her services are very affordable, you won't be waiting around for years (or months, or even weeks) for an appointment, she's eager to help patients to ultimately get a shared-care agreement with their NHS GP where appropriate, and she will explain everything thoroughly to you to ensure that you know exactly why she makes her decisions (especially regarding medication).

I would very highly recommend anybody who has any interest at all in potentially seeking any kind of ADHD assessment/treatment reach out to Tahmina. My experience has been (and continues to be) universally positive, and finally, after three decades of life, I am very optimistic about my future and eternally grateful to Tahmina for giving me the tools and support I needed to reach my potential. I couldn't ask for a better healthcare provider.

I have been on a journey trying to get…

I have been on a journey trying to get firstly a diagnosis for ADHD, and then an ADHD medication prescription. I got my diagnosis elsewhere then I found ADHD Active to see if they could help me with a prescription. I was a little nervous going to a smaller set up originally, as I had to share a fair bit of personal information. But Tahmina was so good at making me feel safe and secure and walked me through the process. When we did our video call you can see how passionate she is about her work and I immediately felt in safe hands.

I’m now a few weeks into medication and I’m so happy I decided to take this route. The prescription was posted immediately and came the next day - was great as I really wanted to get going!

Thank you, Tahmina and speak soon.
