I had my assessment with Janine who was very kind and patient and didn't make me feel judged or rushed at all. It was a difficult conversation but she helped calm me when needed and I'd highly recommend her as a consultant. The process was straight forward and uncomplicated. I received my outcome at the end of the assessment and confirmed in writing within the ten days, alongside a really helpful resources guide and a letter to my employer if I wished to advise them. The fees are outlined clearly on the website and I got a great service overall. I would recommend this for an adult assessment.

I wish I had read these reviews before booking!
I have a high level complex needs 7 year old already diagnosed with ASD and Global Developmental Delay. I called ahead to check they could assess a child of such high need who is non-verbal and discussed the shared care plan over the phone before proceeding with the booking (of nearly £700)
The following day I called GP who advised not to go private unless the company are listed in the Right to Choose list, as it won't be accepted by them (or any other GP in my area who I called). In addition I was told medication is often too costly for GPs to take over and unlikely to be taken over by NHS prescription service.
Three days later (and 3 weeks before my actual appointment) I called to cancel. To be told under the Terms and Conditions they would not refund even thiugh I was within my 14 days consumer rights. And zero service had been provided.
I challenged this via email and was awarded the opportunity for a partial refund of £200. Leaving me £500 down for absolutely no service at all (and taking £500 away from my disabled son).
I tried to appeal via PayPal twice as I had paid through the Pay in 3. This was rejected twice and I ended up agreeing to the £200 partial refund as I had no fight left in me.
Absolutely heartbroken a company could just take £500 for doing absolutely and appearing to trump Consumer Rights through their Terms and Conditions.

For clarity, when an assessment is booked with ADHD Certify, the assessment fee is non-refundable. This is clearly outlined in our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy, which must be actively accepted before payment can be completed. Once a booking is made, the appointment is secured with a clinician who specialises in ADHD assessments in children, and that clinical time is reserved exclusively.
You contacted your GP the day after booking and chose to cancel three days later, approximately three weeks before the scheduled appointment. We completely understand wanting reassurance regarding shared care arrangements. However, shared care agreements are always at the discretion of individual GP practices and local ICB policies, and we are unable to guarantee acceptance. Policies can vary significantly between regions, particularly for paediatric ADHD prescribing.
Although the assessment fee is non-refundable under our policy, your case was reviewed carefully and a £200 goodwill refund was offered.
We are genuinely sorry that this situation has left you feeling heartbroken. That is never our intention. We aim to operate transparently, with clear policies in place, while providing specialist-led care to families navigating neurodevelopmental needs.

ADHD assessment with Asana…
I had my ADHD assessment with Asana recently and had a really positive experience.
I was so nervous beforehand and worried I wouldn’t be taken seriously, but Asana was patient, professional and very understanding from the start. Even when I got upset, she was empathetic and showed compassion.The assessment was thorough and went far beyond a simple questionnaire — we talked through childhood, education, work, and day-to-day life in a way that actually made me feel listened to rather than judged.
Some parts were emotional because you end up reflecting on years of difficulties you didn’t fully understand at the time, Asana explained everything clearly and gave me time to think and answer properly. I never felt rushed or dismissed.
I did receive an ADHD diagnosis, and Asana discussed what the next steps are.
If you’re anxious about booking an assessment, I completely understand — I put it off for a long time. But my experience was supportive, respectful and genuinely validating. I’m really glad I went ahead with it.

For Years, since childhood I suffered immensely with undiagonised ADHD, however not to dwell on the past, I had my ADHD assessment with Toni Henderson yesterday, and she was so compassionate and a great listener even though I flooded her with years of examples. Even though the asseasment was for 90minutes, we went over the allocated time just to make sure everything was noted. I highly recommend this clinic. Unfortunately the waiting list on the NHS is 7 years, why suffer in silence, the price of the assessment was well worth it, it will save your life. Thank you Toni, I will always remember you. Also, the admin team are Great.

medication review with Annisah…
Had my medication review with Annisah this weekend, love that the appts are always flexible and weekends too, great around my busy schedule. It’s great I can always see the same person while I’m going through my medication titration, as I feel she gets to know me personally and understands. I always feel listened to and like this is a partnership - rather than her telling me what’s going to happen. Very happy with the care overall and would recommend to anyone.

I have always had a positive experience…
I have always had a positive experience dealing with ADHD Certify over the last year. My only concern is the lack of consistency with medication review personnel. I think I have now seen 5 different staff members. Each time I have requested a review I have been told the member of staff is no longer available. Annisah was my most recent reviewer and she was excellent. It is just a bit concerning regarding staff retention and to make med reviews easier it would be better being able to see the same person I think.

You are absolutely right to highlight the importance of consistency in medication reviews. Continuity of care matters, particularly when it comes to something as important as prescribing and monitoring medication.
In late 2024, ADHD Certify transitioned into new management. Since then, we have taken significant time and care to review our clinical structure and ensure we are delivering the highest possible standard of patient care. Part of that process has involved making sure we are working with clinicians who are aligned not only clinically, but culturally. Particularly around patient experience, communication and safety standards.
We recognise that this period of change did result in some clinician turnover, which may have affected continuity for some patients, including yourself. While these changes were made to strengthen the service long term, we understand how this can feel unsettling from a patient perspective.
The positive news is that we now have a much stronger and more established medication team in place. Our prescribing structure is significantly more stable, and our focus moving forward is on improving consistency so that patients are able to see the same clinician wherever possible.
We are also pleased to hear that you had a positive experience with Annisah! We will be sure to pass that feedback on.

I researched over 10 places and found this place to be 100% credible. From my first point of contact up to my very last medical consultation to be absolutely wonderful and professional. I’ve not been put on the medication that suits me best but their support is still there as and when I need it.
The doctors, nurses and pharmacist’s are all very friendly and professional, they were amazing at analysing my needs and putting me on the correct medication.
I am almost 40 and have never felt so together and able to function in such a calm and peaceful way.
I would highly recommend them, if you need a company that feel like they are specifically tailored to your needs this is the one, you don’t ever feel like your too much and feel like their only patient.

The assessment was a positive experience for me
I was very nervous having my assessment at the age of 71 and by video link. I need not have worried, Janine put me totally at ease.
During the assessment I felt understood and listened to. The assessment was thorough and quite emotional for me at times, Janine went at my pace understanding why I felt how I did.
At the end of the assessment, Janine clearly explained my diagnosis and encouraged me to ask questions.
I was told when to expect the report and what would happen next.
I left feeling that I understood far more about myself and also about my condition, reassured that I will find the right support as I go forward.

Process of diagnosis was ok. Could have been better.
Titration process was where I encountered some difficulties which were resolved proactively, professionally and sensitively after concerns were raised.
Ongoing shared care treatment with the medication has been excellent and Annisah is great.
