Adria, No End Customer Service or support

Adria, refuse to deal with the end customer or provide any assistance, directing back to the dealer.

Things that are importart to the customer can be low priority to the dealer, espically on secondhand out of warrenty veichles.

In my case, Adria did chase the dealer, for the dealer to had to email Adria the same question (which I dictated to him).

The major concern once a unit is out of warrenty, support can be a struggle.

For purchases in the tens of thousands, this is not acceptable.

Be very cautious about buying an Adria

Adria are a terrible company to contact and their warranties pretty worthless it seems. It has taken 4 months from our first email about a warranty request to get the answer that they won't undertake any work on our caravan. Be very cautious if thinking about purchasing an Adria. We purchased new in 2018 and have had annual services since then. We have been told that our services should have been conducted May/June each year but Covid in 2020 meant that we were unable to have that service until September. Thereafter we have had services in September. Apparently that makes our warranty void, even though the water ingress we tried to claim for was not in any previous service records. Additionally Adria dealers are few and far between and we have been told numerous times by dealers that they no longer deal with Adria because they are notorious payers and very difficult to work with. The dealer we bought from no longer exists and there are no others anywhere near us. Nobody wants to touch an Adria van they didn't sell. It is a lovely caravan but we would not buy an Adria again unfortunately.

Wanted to buy new but gave up

The most uncontactable useless company I've ever come across. How they survive is a mystery. I wanted to buy new and had some upfront warranty questions given I have seen a few Adria owners get left out in the cold. No response via dealer, web form, email and LinkedIn. After 4 weeks we gave up. The additional time allowed us to investigate a bit further and its quite visually apparent the quality of their caravans have fallen off a cliff, not that it was a high bar to start with. Floors clearly separating from walls, cupboard doors fading, doors warping, Beds sagging, light switch's in idiotic places, Door handles of Temu quality, flickering lights, creaky bench seats, flimsy shower trays. Look great in a picture but the reality leaves a lot to be desired. You nearly has us but we had a lucky escape!

2024 Adria Twin Supreme

2024 Adria Twin Supreme
18 months old, less than 4,500 miles on the clock, gearbox failure in the middle of France!
Van suppliers Premier Motorhomes of Chichester aren’t responding to voicemails or emails.
We’ve emailed Adria & have had no response to date.
Fiat Professional garage in Angouleme are being very helpful. They saw 4 such cases last year. Order time for a new gearbox is one month!

Adria Alpina Colorado

After intensively searching and researching for our new caravan we whittled it down to two a coachman or adria Colorado and we chose the adria , wow what a high end caravan it’s simply miles ahead of anything else out there , it’s like walking into the Hilton , yes it’s heavy but our Volvo xc60 is more than capable , it’s a dream to tow so steady the quality is second to none so I’d recommend one any day

Adria a mediocre brand which tries to…

Clearly a mediocre brand which tries to penetrate the premium high-end segment. Our SuperSonic costed Euro 245k and spontaneously caught fire and was completely destroyed within 1,000 kilometres. We could all have died and Adria does not take any responsibility for this and is not willing to refund our remaining damage claiming that we are only entitled to what our insurance pays out. Tried to contact their customer service, after no response the CEO but nobody reacts. What a shame, never buy or trust this mediocre company. I have tried for one year but will follow up now with legal action against them.

Adria UK-Aweful customer service

Bought a second hand Adria Adora Thames Platinum (2017) three years ago. On its first AWS service a major damp issue was highlighted in the bathroom area. Long story short, it took me over a year for Highbridge caravans and Adria to both decide this could be fixed under the 10yr Adria water ingress policy. Both parties tried everything to wriggle out of their obligations. Trust me, the Adria warranty isn’t worth the paper it’s written on. In September this year, guess what? The service report again highlighted a damp issue in the bathroom. Leighton Grant (Customer care manager -Highbridge Caravans, Somerset) referred me to Adria UK. They subsequently refused to do the work under warranty because if you read the tiny print the warranty lasts only 7yrs if ownership is transferred.
Adria caravans and Highbridge that supply them just want your money. Customer care manager? What a joke. Read the reviews on here.Don’t touch this dealership or Adria caravans. I guarantee that like me, you’ll regret it.

We have had our Adria Twin Sports for 2…

We have had our Adria Twin Sports for 2 year's now and although it look's great, it is not the 'sports' van it says. Sport is all year round and when you have wet equipment and clothes, no where in the van to put it. The main issue for us is when you have a fault, leaky window that ends up causing water damage to the back panel and an electric step motor that breaks, and you would like warranty issues resolving, turnaround time to Adria supplying these parts to the dealer is forever. Window leaking over 1 year ago, resolved with silicone! parts sent to dealer to replace damaged panels and they also say not sufficient insulation fitted, 1 part arrived damaged, and then now it takes supposedly at least 6 months to send the part again. We are still awaiting to hear from the dealer if these parts can be delivered earlier than December, yes 15 months since leaky window incident! Mechanical Step now not working since beginning of July, warranty accepted by end of July, today 25th September and still no confirmation to when delivery will take place. We have also had an issue with the ladder feet for the pop top, expensive van supplied with a cheap ladder. Still not resolved. Very disappointed with Adria and won't purchase another Adria vehicle due to their very poor service level. The dealers do their best but can only do as much as they get from Adria

Adria 670DC Supreme

Bought a 2021 Adria 670DC Supreme from Abacus Motorhomes, Andover in October 23.

The Faults. It has a large sun roof which whistles at over 45 mph. Have been told Abacus can change the seal but it is a known fault and probably won't fix the issue. The sensors for the central locking take 30 minutes to reset when you unlock and have had to have a hard wire get around installed, another known fault. The tap over the kitchen sink came apart. We have had issues with the cooker ignition and the overhead locker catches keep breaking.

The annoying. You need a degree to operate the Alde panel. The media/nav system has some very odd foibles. The auto selection on the fridge is hit and miss.

After six months of ownership I wouldn't buy another.

My shower tap failed leaving us unable to use the 30k van for over 5 weeks. Adria don't seem interested in supplying the part in any speedy fashion. If you experience an issue after purchasing an Adria, don't expect any quick action but you will receive
the normal we cant be responsible for the supply to our Factory emails.

I ordered a new Adria matrix supreme it arrived halfway through 2021, we loved it fantastic motorhome then we started to get some problems it was now about 3 months old, we have now sold the motorhome because Adria still hadn’t sent the parts needed, we didn’t want to sell it so soon but it ruined our experience constantly calling to chase up the bits we needed I even have emails from Adria UK who say no one should have to wait this long for parts it’s over a year probably nearer to 18 months waiting for parts only to be given excuses BUT IT DIDNT STOP ADRIA FROM GETTING NEW MOTORHOMES OUT FOR SALE maybe the parts for them are magically made, we loved our matrix but I would never buy another Adria product once you have paid you are no longer important it’s a shame really but in my opinion only buy one if you are prepared to try and locate any parts needed and to do the do work yourself

Shocking Response From CEO of Adria Mobil

If I could put -1 star I would ...

This is the response received from Sonja Gole the CEO/General Manager when we tried to submit a claim and complain after no joy with UK Adria from October 2021. Our brand new Adria Twin Supreme lost all electrics twice after only 3 months of use thus making the van unusable for what it was designed for. Our dealership were excellent and fixed everything however, we were seeking compensation/repayment, for an electric hook-up and light we had to purchase as we were left in the remote highlands of Scotland with no electric, heating, water etc. We dealt with Ben Chandler of Adria UK who told us he was advised not to respond to our email by his boss. Adria's customer service is non-existent and they have no common courtesy to respond to their customers direct. The overall experience has left an extremely bitter taste in ones mouth and needless to say, I will NEVER buy an Adria model again purely based on the experience dealing with the CEO of Adria and her attitude and lack of customer care.

By the way, I am not a male and my surname isn't Wallace

As I know, you have got all needet support, answers, solutions from the delar, distribution. But you are the special one?
We produce the best RV vehicles and we solve whit our distributors (in all EU countries) all problems immedialely or in the best posible time.
If you are not setisfied whit our product and services (which I have checked) just give as back the product. We will easely sell it to another customer waiting for.

Sorry to say so, but you exagegerate. Please, solve the problem whit your dealer on a proper way.

BEWARE of weights limits on these in particular 3.5t cat B driving license

BEWARE - the stated weights is absolute bull***t for most motorhomes - we got Adria Coral A 680SK 2011 and found out the hard way.

3078kg in my vehicle document - this is dry weight with solar panels and no diesel, no water, no driver, no gas - empty motorhome. Even this didn't add up when we weighted everything. Steer away from this one if you're planning to drive using your standard car's cat B driving license and not over 3.5t in particular Austria, Germany and Switzerland in the EU or UK (over 250kg and your motorhome will be sent back on a trailer, heavy fines + problems for driving without required cat for over 3.5t). Also, always weight caravans or motorhomes before you purchase or hire as manufacturers don't tell the truth.

3078kg
+ 145kg (occupants two adults 138 + kid 7kg) = 3223
+ 140kg (water) = 3363
+ 120kg (diesel) = 3483
+ 46kg (2 x 23kg gas) = 5529
+ 25kg (2 bikes on the rack) = 5582
+ 14kg (thule baby trailer) = 5596
+ 5kg toilet liquid = 5601
+ 20kg (fridge and kitchen contents - we had less but am allowing more) = 3616
+ 14kg (external table + chairs) = 3630
+ 7kg (artificaial grass 7 x 2m grass) = 3637
+ 5kg (aquaroll) = 3657
+ 15kg (25m hookup cable and 15m water hose) = 3672
+ 15kg (extra 25m hookup cable and 15m water hose) = 3687
+ 50 kg (all other stuff like cloths, boots, electronics, adapters, water connectors etc.) = 3737
+ 7k induction stove = 3744
+1 kg electric kettle = 3745

We weighted all above while being in our motorhome and it came up to !!! 3880kg !!!!! So where does the extra 135kg weight come from???

We've removed:
- 5kg TV
- 15kg extra cables + hose
- 7kg rear top matress
- 7kg grass
- 140kg epmty water tank (question: what's the purpsoe of going away to remote placed without water?)
- 20kg (20L of used up diesel)
- 23kg (1 x gas bottle)
- some other stuff we could live without and ended up weighting 3690kg!!

That's still 190 kg over the limit in all cases without waste water and can't leave anything else behind as it would make our trip pointelss i.e. no water = can't get away from civilisation, no bicycles no = way to get around without moving the motorhome, no trailer = would not be able to go without the kid, no electric stove/kettle = we'd use up our 1 gas bottle left much quicker. We plan on using half tank of diesel which should drop another 40kgs hence will be down to 3650kg. Maybe they'll turn a blind eye in Hungary, Slovenia, Italy, Croatia, Greece and other surrounding countries but we'll see.

I would have to remove every passenger and all stuff in order to be able to go with both gas bottles and maybe some water in the tank in a motohome that sleeps 6-8 people and allow to drive with 4 seat belts - not a chance unless you compromise as above! I will be trying to modify the suspension, re-register it up to at least 3.8t and get a cat C license cause it's all way too pointless to risky driving as your INSURANCE WON'T COVER for overloaded vehicle (am still to find out about any constructional limits and whether anything such as tyres can give up with unmodified re-registered to 3.8t which could be catastrophic and you migh be a driving danger to your family and others), paying fines or being towed away as there is no way to unload enough stuff to reach desired limit of 3.5t.
