However I've used mycarcheck and they don't provide updated records as I've had almost ripped off before as the car was cat c and it never appeared on it neither they told us about it so I'm just being cautious, I'd appreciate if you can provide me with an AHP check from advancedhpi.co.uk cause that's more detailed and reliable, don't worry about paying for it we'll adjust in our deal, thanks

Complete scam. Paid for a Gold HPI check after being pressured by an Erika & Peter via text about a bike I was selling. Finally got report 24 hrs after being on line chart & being ignored. Next time we will google phone numbers and web site trust pilot.

I heard it redirect when I first tried calling back but they only seemed to want to message and message a lot, all themed at me buying this specific HPI check that they couldn’t do themselves.

Kept making out they had been scammed before and that this was the only HPI check they trusted.

I imagine there’s a team of people making money for the website by convincing people all day that they will view and buy their vehicle if they purchase the check.

I've just fallen for the same scam! Wish I had looked into advancedhpi as never heard of it before. Instead I just clicked on the link he sent which I never normally do. BEWARE OF ALAN THOMPSON

Messaged me pretending to be a car buyer, wanted me to pay for a check using this company and he'd "pay me back". When I said I could get a free check in the morning he kept saying he needed the report that evening. Seemed sketch so I of course didn't do it, and now having Googled it I can see it was a scam.

Car buying scammers, advertised my car on autotrader and gumtree not sure where they got my number but they didn’t like me sending them a legit HPI report and wanted to use this advanced site. Fake name was Garner and used 2 phone numbers +44 7893 944505 for texting and +44 7897 069375 for WhatsApp (this is where I was already raising eyebrows). Be very careful there isn’t such thing as an advanced HPI. It’s done by one company and that’s it just use any reputable site just as hpi or vcheck

I’m actually speaking to “Alan” right now and just called him out! He said I was an uncooperative seller! Then I’ve found the mobile number is the same as on here !!!! Beware !!! Scam

This is a scam. Advertised my car on gumtree. Contacted by +44 7445 004165 asking normal questions. Then before coming to view wanted me to use this site for a hpi check saying it had to be done by the owner due to "data privacy" it's a con please don't fall for this.

So close to being caught out! 'Alan' was so very plausible as a car buyer, right questions asked, until he sent a link for an HPI check. He even advised I had used the wrong website as we didn't use his link, the websites were almost identical. Did end up paying for a not needed HPI check, but could have been so much worse, feeling like a fool rn.

Same as the others. A scam. Thankfully read trust pilot first. They'd contact you very interested and will refuse to take an hpi check from any official source, trying to redirect you here and scam you.

Watch out for these scammers. They will text and pretend they are interested in your vehicle. Read it carefully and it's garbled English! They will then make an excuse stating you need to do the HPI check and you have to pay for it. Straight away you can tell this is a scam. The number that text me was 07445004165. Be very careful! Thankfully I checked trustpilot before submitting as something didn't seem right. DO NOT USE ADVANCEDHPI.CO.UK

Same story here. Received sms from this number 07893933919 regarding a car I advertised on Gumtree...long conversation over sms, tried to call back, redirected call to nowhere...and then link to scam hpi check.

SCAMMERS - WATCH OUT
Luckily I am savvy when it comes to these things so checked the trust pilot reviews before taking action. Had someone approach us regarding a vehicle we are selling. They asked for a HPI check and sent us a link to this site. We refused and got a HPI check elsewhere, they stated that it wasn't enough and they'd been scammed previously and that this was the only site they trusted. I immediately flagged the reviews with them and they havent messaged since. Scammers are using AI chats to sound more legitimate....WATCH OUT

As stated in previous reviews, I too received text messages from someone seemingly interested in buying my vehicle and asked normal questions and then asked for a hpi check report to which I provided one of my own I had already done and they then send a link to advanced hpi.co.uk so I thought it was suspicious and so I googled it and it lead me to Trustpilot with others saying the exact same thing so glad I checked this

Scammers. They scrape the web for people that are selling cars. If you have a car for sale online, they will contact you by SMS [or perhaps some other messaging app] and after some texting [maybe by an automated AI tool before taking it over themselves] they will prompt you to buy it a HPI from their website. Such a low life.

Beaware! its a scam website.
Someone from this phone number 07723557484 texted & call me and said he saw my car advertisement on gumtree and he liked the vehicle and interested in viewing. He asked good questions relevant to car purchase. Every thing was looking real but at end he said do i have hpi report. He asked me to do hpi check on advancedhpi.co.uk website. Which i refused to do because it was looking suspicious and i said if he want hpi do it on his end on authentic website. I did some research and found lots of other people also got contacted by similar scammers where they sent them their website like for hpi check. Its a total scam dont click on the link and pay for hpi report.
