They made it right
They made it right...
My first part arrived damaged due to shipping. The team at Advanced Truck Parts was responsive at first and sent a replacement once they received the damaged part. Naturally this process took some time.
Unfortunately, after receiving the second part, we realized the part was incorrect—an oversight on my end. I contacted Advanced Truck Parts again, hoping to exchange it for the correct part. Their answer was surprisingly “no.” They informed me their return policy is only valid for 30 days, even though the delay in resolving the damaged shipment contributed to that timeline.
So now I’m stuck with a perfectly good, brand-new part that cost over $1,000, and they still refused an exchange even when I offered to cover all shipping costs. Their final response was simply that “the boss said no.”
Overall, extremely disappointing customer service and zero willingness to work with a customer on a reasonable solution.
Update 3/17/26
Tony with Advanced Truck Parts reached out to me to mend the situation after posting my original review. They offered to accept the return with a 20% restock fee which is understandable, they also paid the shipping. Thank you for working with me and mending the situation.

We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience and understand how frustrating that situation must have been — especially on a high-value part.
First, we appreciate you acknowledging that the original replacement issue was due to shipping damage. We always work quickly to resolve damaged shipments, but we understand that the time involved in sending and receiving parts can create delays, and that can be stressful when you’re trying to keep equipment running.
Regarding the return request, our 30-day return policy is in place to ensure fairness and consistency for all customers, particularly with high-value OEM and heavy-duty truck parts. That said, we never want anyone to feel unheard or dismissed. We sincerely apologize if our communication came across as abrupt or unhelpful — that is not the level of service we aim to provide at Advanced Truck Parts.
We specialize in supplying quality semi-truck and diesel truck parts, and we understand that ordering the correct component the first time is critical. Even when a situation falls outside policy guidelines, we always try to review circumstances carefully.
We would welcome the opportunity to take another look at this matter. Please reach out to our customer service team directly and reference this review so we can re-evaluate your case and see if there’s a workable solution.
We appreciate your feedback — it helps us improve — and we hope we can restore your confidence in Advanced Truck Parts.

Hola,
