A scam, took my money. Did not deliver a skip, then no refund. Ended with bank stepping in and deeming this a scam and refunded

Ignorant, incompetent, unfair and dismissive!
I started a 3 month+ contract working through Advantage Group UK.
Using my own laptop, software and car I worked at the company office and late nights at home to fulfil my role.
After only 3 weeks I was phoned by one of the company Directors and was told to 'Stand Down' for a short temporary time on this contract, but was re-assured that it would re-commence again within a few weeks at most. However as the weeks turned into months I was only contacted once by one of office girls to re-assure me I was one of several people who had been told to 'Stand Down' and just wait for further instructions.
After 3 months I received an email from the Account Team Leader telling me that they were sorry to hear I was leaving and hoping I had enjoyed my assignment!?
Their poor communication and incompetence was breath-taking.
Having been honest, hardworking and flexible in this role I was shocked how Advantage Group UK treated people like me.
