No delivery, poor responses and lack of communication.

Ordered an expensive motor lawn mower that failed to be delivered as promised. Alleged that the delivery had been returned to the warehouse, this was on a Friday. Offered delivery the following Monday. Sufficient time to for the consignment to have been delivered on Saturday. I reluctantly accepted the Monday delivery and again no goods. Asked for details of courier company to coordinate delivery and obtained no response to my e-mail. Had to cancel the order and demand a refund. My advice, avoid this company. In response to the accusation that I have been "unfair" I extended the time for acceptance of the consignment to 6-00pm as requested. Again, no courier and no delivery! What more could I do? I have given this company every chance to supply and I feel badly let down! They are local to me, about 90 minutes away, and it has taken 4 days to fail to deliver by "Next Day Delivery". Patience has been exhausted and my time well and truly wasted! You have been warned!

We do apologise about the initial delivery issue with the courier. We sent the order back out on a next day service on Friday (24/03/17) after it being reported by yourself that day. The item was due for delivery today (27/03/17). We find it unfair that you have submitted a review before the end of close, as the courier delivers up until 6pm. So even though it may not be with you at the time you submitted your review (3pm today 27/03/17) it still had every chance of being with you. We've just checked the tracking details and it shows that your lawn mower was out for delivery and with your local driver. After receiving your email regarding a refund for your purchase - we have contacted the courier to get the order sent back to our warehouse. Upon receiving it back we will issue you with a full refund.

Update: 29/03/17

Hi Peter,

After you sent an email requesting to cancel the order, we contacted the courier company to ask them to return the item back to our warehouse. Just to clarify we didn't ask you to extend the time of acceptance to 6pm - we advised that the courier can deliver up until this time on a weekday. But after you asked to cancel, the driver would have been informed by your local depot, to no longer make delivery at your address.

In regards to the numerous emails threatening us with legal & trading standards action - we feel this was completely uncalled for, as we have done exactly as you've requested and followed procedure.

This morning we've received the lawn mower back at our warehouse and have now issued a full refund back to your card.

We hope this now puts an end to the matter.
