- The first day of our charter we found a leak in one of our cabins, after they repaired it we didn't have time to reach our destination before dawn therfore had to stay at marina
- Two days before check-out there started a leakage of fuel which they couldn't find, we needed to find and finance accomodation on our own
- During the leakage the manager was extremly unreasonable, unhelpfull and agressive, recomemnding us to buy perfumes and keep the windows open (it was heavy raining)
- I asked for compensation for accomodation and one day of not being able to sail and was rejected with them calling me a liar although I had witnesses of the whole situation

Totally unscrupulous company. They completely ignored a serious diesel leak, causing exacerbation to a crew member with COPD on the boat, say the boat has no problems what so ever, then spends two days repairing it with rather hostile technicians, without any compensation. Arrogant manager encourages air freshener without acutally seeing the boat himself (absurd!). Absoultely avoid the charter if you acutally want to get the services you paid for without risking damage to your health and your holiday.

Very friendly and, helpful staff. Sailboat was clean.

We had really good experience with this company. Reading these reviews I can only say these people are not experienced sailors and this is all very unnecessary.

Please avoid Adventure Charter. This company intentionaly and knowingly scam people. When checking out they charge for damages already present on the ship, and charging these same damages again to next customers. Shoud be investigated for Insurance Fraud.

Do not rent a boat from them. They will charge you for some old damages as a broken boat trusther. Check whole boat inside and outside by yourself and make a videos and photos before check-in. Photos and videos will be a proof for check-out.

Don't rent a boat with them. They were very dishonest. Kept all the deposit for a damage without demostrating the amount of the damage. They will try to keep your deposit with any excuse.

During the charter our anchor mechanism stopped to work, we contacted them to ask for help and someone instructed us on what to do to fix it, at the end he said it was our fault even when we followed his instructions. They didn't even come in the bay to fix the problem and let us travel almost a week without anchor.
As if it wasn't enough, during the check out they tried to charge us for a problem of the stern swim platform...that we found out on the first day after our departure from the pier, as seen that the check in didn't allow us to check it completely because of the boat too close to the pier.
Concluding, it seems it's not something that happened for first time. My advice is to not rely on this company, NEVER.

Avoid this company as much as you can. Sailing their yacht is an endless adventure of equipment repairs. No more Adventure Charter!

!!!Finger weg !!! Schlechteste Charterfirma der Welt, die Marina in Drage existiert nicht, nur eine Baustelle ohne Zufahrt, defekten Stromanschlüssen und ungeschützten Not Anleger. Die Boote sind eine Katastrophe und wie man auch bei den anderen Skippern lesen kann. Beiboot kaputt, Aussenborder kaputt, Grossbaum kaputt...Segeln nicht möglich.
Von € 2000 Kaution wurden € 900 einbehalten, scheint bei dieser Firma so üblich zu sein, schreiben auch andere Skipper !!!Finger weg !!! Schlechteste Charterfirma der Welt

!!!Hands off !!! Worst charter company in the world, the Marina in Drage does not exist, just a construction site with no access, defective power connections and unprotected emergency docks. The boats are a disaster as you can read from the other skippers. Dinghy broken, outboard broken, boom broken...Sailing not possible...... € 900 of the € 2000 deposit was withheld, seems to be the norm with this company, other skippers also write !!! Hands off !!! THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER IN MY SAILING LIFE. Tricks how to get money from you, fake net in propeler, absolutely disgusting behavior from charter stuff and also manager. Never! Never! Never!

Adventure Charters’ favorite game is to use the deposit of some clients to finance the maintenance of their boats. They kept our 120€ deposit because the main sail got stuck twice in the mast furling. First was before the check in ! Pulling it out was enough to fix it. There were no damage on the main sail, only the furling wasn’t working properly (from before) and it cost us 120€, all in cash with insurances (120 € more in cash also !). Another scam provided by Adventure Charters.

At the beginning of our sailtrip the winch did not work properly. We tried to contact Adventure Charter, nobody came to fix it. Unfortunately we rented a boat without the opportunity to use the anchor. During check out to our big surprise they said we had to pay for it. In stead of apologies they made us pay almost 800 euro for it (they withheld it from our deposit). And we were not the only victims during check out there were 2 other families completely pissed off because they were set up to similar cases. Please take our advice, do not rent your boat here!!!!!

I have just been charged for being hit by a lightning from Adventure Charter, they took 1600 EUR of caution. So did they to other people on pier when leaving ship charging them or/and their insurance for damages they were not suposed to pay. Strongly recommend avoid this charter.

Adventure charter is the worst charter company I have ever traveled on the sea. The saying yacht only half year old, size 45 has only 3 winches. But more problem was in the disfuncional navigation instrument specifically indicator of depth ant indicator wind direction and speed. The worst surprising waited us by the check up. We were held for responsible of damage ship keel. The staff of Adventure charter showed to us the pictures of damage keel. It was rock damage. I am sure, the yacht did not contact rock at the bottom, or some thing everywhere. There is very interesting question: Why the same problem had the second yacht of my friend ( we were group of 2 yacht ). It is working method Adventure charter ? The result was that, Adventure charters pulled us part of the deposit.
it is an experience that I never had before.
