Kudos to Uzzi at Adventure Outdoors for a very positive roof rack and cargo box buying experience! After initially pricing the items I needed around the usual rack shops in around town I was fortunate to stumble upon AO.
Do yourself a big favour and drive out to Surrey (easy to find and not far past the Patullo Bridge) and you will be very glad that you did. I figure I saved around $700 off my rack and box combo. Uzzi was extremely helpful throughout the process and also drove all the way out to North Van to assist me with the installation as well.

Even though I ran into some scheduling problems with my trip, Uzzi was kind enough to work with me and find a new work around the schedule of my roof box rental to save my scheduled vacation. I purchased 4 life jackets for an upcoming camping weekend with a good friend and in talking with Uzzi, he took the time and made arrangements to actually come to me to drop them off.

The quality of these are Coast guard certified and the quality is amazing!

Pricing is good, prompt communication

This business is extremely customer service oriented, they are very professional and flexible and aim to satisfy whatever needs and wants you may have. Uzzi was my sales adviser and he went out of his way and made sure I got what I wanted, in my case it was a Thule Alpine roof box rental for about 1.5 weeks. I also got a small gift for renting with Adventure Outdoors! The night before my trip he even offered to drop off the roof box at my house so I didn’t have to drive all the way to their storageplace to pick up. No matter what issues arose, he had a way to quickly resolve them while maintaining my trust. Unfortunately I didn’t end up renting the box because the roof rack I tried to install ended up damaging my car, so even when I had to cancel my rental last minute, he was very understanding and even helped me by giving me advice! I will definitely come back to Uzzi and this business for my future travelling needs because there isn’t another place that will go out of their way like they do!

My group and I had a wonderful time at the beach with these great quality SUPs! The owner is also great with customer service and their philosophy of benefiting customers with the rent to own program. I’m definitely going to use their outstanding equipment and service—you should check them out! The quality of equipment, customer service, and price are outstanding!
