Terrible company to deal with
Terrible company to deal with. Cancelled out tour to dc plan wreck. £96 per person we paid and now they have the cheek to offer Expedia a £5.65 refund each for us. DO NOT deal with this company, they say when you’re in Iceland they will refund but they don’t and just cancel your trip. They will message on here saying to contact them but then knock you back because you booked with a third party.

Booked excursion through Expedia for…
Booked excursion through Expedia for the Dc Plane wreck trip 12 hours full day. We confirmed booking day before to be told the plane wreck part was cancelled but they would not allow us to cancel the tour. We got picked up at 8.20 and was told it may be cancelled the main part but we already new it was fully cancelled as we had been told by the lady on the phone. We spend 8 hours driving on the bus stopped at 2 waterfalls and the black sand beach. Now artic adventures are being very awkward about refunding for the majority of the tour. Only reason we booked this trip was for the dc plane wreck that’s what the whole tour was
Called. We not recommend to use artic adventures. The tour should have been called ride a bus and stop off petrol stations.

We took two tours with Arctic…
We took two tours with Arctic Adventures. One to the Glacier for a walk, with stops on the way. The second the Katla Ice Cave.
The buses were on time, and comfortable. Drivers were friendly and informative. The walk on the glacier was great, despite the weather.
Katla Ice Cave was AMAZING. Tour guides were knowledgeable and helpful.

Poor value.
OK so you can't change the weather but nothing was added to make this trip memorable or value for money on a foggy and rainy day . A full day travel to do about half an hour around a track on a snow mobile. Ice cave shut and nothing else offered in replacement. No banter to relieve boredom of a grey day on bus. Me and my 2 sons. £1000. Not good value for a bucket list trip. Wrote to them with comments No reply. Fortunately the rest of our holiday has been fantastic. I am not a complainer but what was supposed to be the highlight of the trip was the low point.

The Ice Cave tour was amazing!!
The Ice Cave tour was amazing!!! Tom (tour guide) was incredible! He provided the tour with so many facts about Iceland and the glacier we hiked (which I didn't expect doing, but it was worth it).
I highly recommend anyone going to Iceland to book with Adventure.is, Ice Cave Tour, and ask for Tom. You will not be disappointed.

The guides were very good
The guides were very good, knowledgable and funny! The glacier is stunning, as are the caves.
The glacier is retreating rapidly so it took a lot longer to get to than I had thought, 1h by the time we arrived.
The truck was awesome, but some aircon or ventilation to the back seats, along with an small speaker so you could hear the guide properly would make a significant difference for those at the back.
Overall, if you haven’t been into the glacier then I would recommend, tho I would prob check out the other tours at the larger glacier further east if time on your trip allows it.

Incredible 6 day tour in Iceland, highly recommended!!
This tour exceeded my expectations. I loved every moment and I strongly recommend it.
Iceland is truly an amazing place to visit but our guide Vjeran really made the difference.
I am a solo traveller and I was part of a 15 people group of all ages and nationalities. Although we had different abilities, Vjeran made sure we all experienced the excursion/hike/activities and I can honestly say I could have not been happier with my group!
Vjeran’s knowledge and passion is the key to such a successful tour. He is emphatic, energetic, he really is a people’s person and I am very grateful to have been part of this tour.
This tour has given me a chance to meet amazing people and do so many activities: hikes, whale watching, ice cave. I have also been blessed by the Northern Lights 3 times!
I felt safe, entertained and I do feel like I have seen so much of this beautiful country.

We did the Ice Lagoon Adventure Tour…
We did the Ice Lagoon Adventure Tour (zodiac boat tour of Glacier Lagoon) in Jokulsarlon in early September and it was amazing. Tamara was our guide and she was was wonderful, so knowledgeable and fun. She shared a lot of interesting insights about the science, history, geology and physics behind the glaciers, the ice and climate change. We also appreciated how Tamara looked at the ice sculptures with an artist's eye. Her passion for the ice and the environment was infectious.

River Rafting with Arctic Rafting
I booked an afternoon of river fun rafting with Arctic Rafting. I was on a cruise ship that arrived into Reykjavik at 1200 and was picked up at the port. The process was smooth and the bus driver very friendly. It was over an hour to get to the Arctic Rafting Centre, but the hosts were brilliant, almost all kit is provided - if you have a rash vest then take one - and I waterproofed my phone for a small fee, which meant I could take pictures. The event itself was fun and about the right length. There was time for a beer and hot tub afterwards before I was taken back to port. Great people, very friendly, would definitely recommend if you are visiting Iceland

Really fun and interesting experience on the glacier
Really well organised walk on the glacier with a very interesting and fun guide, Thomas, who clearly had a lot of experience. I would recommend this tour to anybody who would like to walk on and learn more about glaciers.
