Brilliant service, as ordered, quickly and delivered promptly.

I had a piece of glass cut for the top of a chest of drawers. Simple project and similarly simple and straightforward experience with A&E Glazing. Great price point, delivered by hand. I appreciated not having a load of packaging to deal with afterwards. So easy I am now considering covering everything in glass.

Excellent and thoughtful service from start to finish. Help with getting the precise diameter measurement. Phone manner professional and helpful. Even the guy who delivered the glass was so helpful and professional. Thank you for an excellent service guys!

I needed a new panel for my garage window that had suffered an impact and had shattered. I found A&E Glazing online. I placed the order on Monday morning and the panel was delivered on Friday lunchtime. The delivery driver was very helpful. He carried the new panel into the garage for me and offered to take away the old panel. I gladly accepted as it saved me a journey to the local tip. The new panel fitted perfectly and it only took me about 15 minutes to clean the frame and then fit it. An excellent result. Thanks A&E!

FYI This review is completely unsolicited. I was calling around a few different glazing companies in the local area, as I needed a couple of double glaze units to fit in a set of new handmade wooden doors. Found upon one in Shepherd’s Bush that actually priced my order over the phone. No need to email the specs in and wait days for them to send a price (happened with every other quote!). Also they sent a quotation in writing whilst I was on the line. It was really detailed quotation as well, so I was glad the guy understood exactly what I needed and was able to confirm in writing. Price was far more keen than the other quotations I’d had already so I gave them my order straight away. Didn’t realise but the glass is actually produced in Dartford, I guess their shop in Shepherds Bush is just a storefront? Either way, doesn’t matter to me because the cost of delivery was included. Even then, it was cheaper than the alternative quotes I got by a decent margin.

I don’t mind paying a bit more for something if I know the service and the quality is going to be worth it, but when you’re just shopping around, it’s almost impossible to know, so that’s why I went with the cheapest quote. It wasn’t a huge order anyway.

The thing that really pleased me about this whole order was how drama-free it was. After that one very good phone call where I placed my order, I received a good number of emails in the following week detailing the exact status of the order (planned for production, production date set, production completed, shipping scheduled… Etc) so there was no need to chase it up. I like that.

Arrived with no drama as well, the delivery guy was really nice and turned up in branded clothing, so obviously they use in-house delivery guys which is also reassuring.

Anyway, highly recommend based on this experience. I’ll definitely be using them again.

Even though I got a great quote from them on their website, because I needed a hole for a cat flap in a sealed double glazed unit, I wanted to speak to a human. They were very helpful.
Item was one of the best prices on the internet. Delivery was very quick too, by their own people, not a 3rd party courier. I was also kept constantly in the loop

Like others I thought I was booking a local firm, but that apart my experience of A&E Glazing has been good - prompt responses via WhatsApp to get quote and book the job, and to assign tradesman to a time slot.

Cliff turned up on time, has done a neat job, and checked I was happy before leaving site - prompt and efficient service!

Product is fine, we bought a 6mm mirror and the guys that installed it were friendly & efficient on the day.
However, from the moment I paid the deposit the customer service was awful, I got no updates on our purchase, had to constantly chase for delivery date.
Was told 2 different days which were both cancelled and pushed back.
Wouldn’t recommend or use again.

You keep replying saying this wasn’t you - however when I click through your website linked on here it takes me to the same website with matching phone number to the one I called and the same logo to the business WhatsApp I was communicating with, seems a little strange.

Ordered Monday, received on Saturday. The glazing was ~40% more expensive than a local supplier we've used before, but the quality and turnaround was considerably better. Very impressed.

I called, what was listed as a local glazing company, that turned out not to be so local, on behalf of my 93 year old home alone sometimes vulnerable Mother In Law. I gave them detailed measurements for a replacement patio door panel and was quoted over the phone. When their man called to survey he called the office with his measurements and they then quoted half as much again. Once reminded of our earlier conversation the price was adjusted to match the original quote, which is to their credit, and we paid half over the phone to the office.

We agreed, via a WhatsApp group run by them, that all further comms would be via me, not my MIL, and that we would need to be present when the work was done.

We agreed to their proposed time and date to carry out the work and that their fitter would call me 1 hour beforehand with a more precise timescale as it would take us half an hour to get there. An hour and a quarter before the agreed slot we got a phone call from MIL advising that the fitter was already on site and was doing the work! When we got there the fitter was long gone.

The job was completed without incident, other than MIL could not pay the balance due to her misunderstanding her credit card details, an issue that would not have arisen had we been there as agreed.

We have no qualms with regards to the quality of the product or the workmanship or the great value for money. However we are very disappointed that they did not honour the agreements they made.

They could have so easily scored 5*s just by doing what they said they would.

A&E Glazers and A&E Glazing are part of the same company.
A&E Glazers present themselves as "your local glaziers" but they are not, they are based in Deptford, and their premises is above A&E Glazers.
Communication is terrible and they are very heavy handed with the way they deal with you. They will send an invoice before any work is carried out and they expect it to be paid immediately (minutes) after the work is complete and if you don't pay immediately they will hassle you until you do.
You can't leave a review anywhere for A&E Glazers because it does not exist if you search the internet. The only place to leave a review for this company is on an A&E Glazing page but if you do that you'll probably get a threatening call from the owner, who by his own admission also part owns A&E Glazers, telling you that you are slandering his company with false information. The work carried out was substandard but there is no way to communicate this. For the record, I have had no official dealing with A&E glazing - this review is for A&E glazers but I can't leave a review for A&E glazers because they don't have a webpage or email address - other than accounts ....... make up your own mind about this company.

Had an appointment for change my front window. It should be early in the morning. They did not come. After many calls they kept changing time . For the last they said they would come around 2:30, so I went on next door shopping about 13:15 and come back 13:30 to find a miss you note. I called customer services to ask the guy to come back as I was all the day waiting for him and they said couldn't do nothing but only reebok. The guy even did not try to call. No respect for customer.
