They change info on their little…

They change info on their little portal. Changed my w2 to digital which i made certain I didn't select. Then when trying to figure out where my w2 was they ignored 9 voicemail, 4 emails, and several texts to the recruiter i used. They also screwed up my taxes when I know for a fact I put the same thing i do every check. I also add an extra 1.50 to each state and fed to pay extra every check and they somehow made that disappear too. Stay as far away from these desperate people as you can. Also the recruiters like to act like you BELONG to them. Just funny I go file taxes and somehow they had it to where I wasn't paying in and a co worker of mine went through the same thing. How these clowns sre in business is beyond me. Its also comical how they're the only ones I had trouble with tax wise. Sad to see there's rules for us little guys, but these agencies can take and take and mess with people's lives. Ive filed several complaints with the irs on the w2 issues as I found a screen shot of the info I put for taxes to be taken out. Exactly as I thought I selected the normal amount to be taken out plus my extra 1.50. Truly hope the irs actually does something, but I doubt it.

Complete liars and cheats!!

Complete liars and cheats!!! I had a job they hired me for. I was honest with them. They took a shader persona weird over mine while was a successful employee. And had never lied for anything. So why I wood starts for a job at the dollar store. Dumb and they acted as children and refused to avert my messages and when my home is foreclosed in holding them responsible for my-status of employment

Osymka - Aerotek

Amanda, in their Denver office, called me. Scouted me out to work for OSYPKA in Longmont, CO. Fairly quickly, i let her know the job was a very low level job, there was not enough work and i wanted to be replaced with another company. I was also not informed i would be working with deadly gases and chemicals. She actually said they have "non-compete clauses with their other customers", so i was not free to terminate my position without replacing the job first. Eventually, i was let go because the job was an absolute MISERABLE JOKE. And after all that Amanda said they didn't have any other positions that were much different. Unprofessional and dishonest.

Ghosted

Tried finding another job recently. Saw a listing for Aerotek in a town nearby, decided to apply. Didn't know these guys were a temp agency at the time, but decided to apply. The rep I was communicating with decided to try putting in my application to a completely different job in another town. I was fine with that, since it paid about the same. They said they would submit my application and get back to me the next day. Never got back to me. I tried reaching out a couple times, nothing. Never going through them again.

Not A Good Fit

Aerotek accidentally cancelled my medical insurance in between assignments. I left one assignment, on a Friday, and started another two days later. I didn't know this happened until I went to urgent care 5 days into my new assignment for sciatica. I couldn't be seen as I didn't have money to pay upfront. Had to go to er and that cost $$. My medical insurance covered urgent care visits in full, but not ER visits. Due to my not being able to stand, and could only do sit-down work even with pain, my contract was cancelled as they had no sit down work.
Aerotek didn't take out enough taxes. I filed the same way I always do and barely any monies taken out. Even when I got unemployment, they took out 10% for taxes. Not sure if it's different when you work as a contractor, but it's not right.
Many things happened on the job that Aerotek didn't take seriously/looked the other way instead of addressing the situation as soon as it came up.
I would never recommend working for Aerotek.

Do not work through these guys

Do not work through these guys. Never got paid for Christmas. Pay was always messed up. They would take money out of your check for no reason and not give you an explanation. Worst temp agency to work through.

Stay Away From These Snakes

Want to look for a job that pays well, gives you good benefits, and works in a place where your work is valued and meaningful? The best way is to stay away from these snakes. The recruiters will set you up for failure by referring you to a job that the other companies want, and then by the time you get fired (regardless of whether it's justified or not), they will communicate it in a way with ZERO remorse as if the lives of those that got fired/laid off are disposable.

The employers that Aerotek are contracted/associated with seem more interested in personal gain rather than caring about their employees. I say to hell with Aerotek.

They also call you at least once a month to see if you're interested in a job that they believe you would be interested in.

Shady MNC agency

Was contacted by this recruiter yesterday through LinkedIn and informed of a good job matching my specification in Switzerland. I am a specialist so I was open to the opportunity. The company were impressive.
However the tone of the email was rushed – Could I immediately get back to her and she needed to have my details in by end of business the next day. That sent up a red flag.
That evening I checked out a review of Aerotek by google search. The first review I saw warned of fraudulent practices and lying to the job seeker. However the company was very large, based mostly in USA and had many good reviews also.
The next day, the RC rang me on time and we went over the role. She didn’t have a full job spec and she wanted me to complete a series of questions, including supplying references and updating my CV. She wanted this all ASAP.
This didn’t suit as my day was already busy, but I did spend over and hour typing up this information and sent it on. Then I heard nothing back from her. It’s now after 5:30pm in Switzerland, and I don’t know whether she forwarded my details to the company or not. She also revealed that the job was a 1 year contract and that I was employed by Aerotek, not the company. None of this had previously been communicated.
This really threw my day out and cost me 2 hours altogether. I had another important call scheduled for that day. It remains to be seen whether she lets me know if I was put forward or not. But in general, I would have to say that it was a bad experience and very unprofessional.
Update: The RC replied to my message saying my CV had been sent – I’m not sure what to believe – the call from another company came 10 minutes after the call with her. Co-incidence?
Also – It’s been 8 days – no update despite written assurance last week, and no-one answering office phone.
I would warn people against trusting this company, and I also feel it reflects badly on Nov*tis, who have previously interviewed me in a process that lasted 6 months for another vacancy. They have also recently downsized an entire facility in Cork, so I would say to that company – stop treating people like merde.
Beware *artis and Aerotek!
PS. I also suspect this call was a hoax, coming from another company, to see what I would say if offered another position. How dubious.

Gotta love big pharma. Such integrity.
