Be aware! Affordable Dumpster is NOT as "affordable" as they would like you to believe. Their initial quote is below most other dumpster rentals, HOWEVER, their weight limits are 1/2 of what other companies allow. For example, most 30yd. dumpsters include a weight limit of 3 tons (6,000lbs). My 30 yard from Affordable Dumpster allowed 1 1/2 tons (3,000 lbs). You will receive an updated bill about a month later charging you for your overweight at an ridiculous, over-inflated price/lb. Your credit card will be automatically billed and you will not be provided with documentation of the overweight charge. Good luck trying to dispute this charger.

Late pickup causing delays to have fill delivered. Weight charges overinflated until I requested charges directly from dump, proving they were trying to over charge for extra weight. Then 2 unapproved fraudulent charges on my cards 1 was for a BNB in California, the other from a German software company. Only place I used cards was at Affordable Dumpster Rental and both cards were hit. Beware of this business!

They dropped the dumpster off fine but they put it in the driveway crooked which I don’t understand that they were supposed to pick it up on Monday. They did not pick it up till Thursday and then they charged us $277 extra for over a weight limit. It’s a scam. It’s a scam. They are terrible. You can’t get a hold of customer service and they just don’t give a shit I would never use them again and I would never ever refer them to anybody and I will spread the word.

should have read the reviews. charged me for 4480 lb over and all I had was wood deck tear off. when dumpster was delivered it had about 1000lb of dirt stuck to the bottom. when it was picked up the truck had a hydraulic leak that leaked onto my driveway

This company is a complete SCAM. DO NOT USE. They quoted us $439.00 for a 20-yard dumpster. We were honest that it would be concrete, bricks, and plaster going into it. We were told materials should not be overflowing when it was picked up. It was not, and we had no idea of the weight. Two months later, I have changed an additional $4200.00 in overage fees. How would I have ever known the weight of the dumpster? Based on the materials, we should have been told to fill only 1/4 of the dumpster to stay within the weight limit. Called to speak with billing, and the girl who answered said there isn't a billing department, but she was a manager. Refused to address the issue and would not provide any proof of the weight overage. They expect you to take them at their word. When asked why I was billed two months later, she stated some companies bill them weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or bi-monthly. I doubt that. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

This is a broker company, they contract with 3rd party dumpster rentals. The booking process was easy, but the service not good. It took almost a month to get the filled dumpster removed due to miscommunication with the 3rd party dumpster providers. I got into trouble with my HOA for having the thing in my driveway so long. Also, I was charged almost double for the weight AFTER the fact, which I strongly disagree exceeded 3000 lbs/1500 contracted to start with. All I had was furniture/no construction materials at all. I was also charged the extra $190 automatically without even being asked especially given there was no actual proof the landfill indeed weighted the dumpster at 3000 lbs. I do not recommend this company.

I rented a 20 yard dumpster and later slapped with an additional $300 without any explanation just saying that the total weight was 3000 pounds over my allowed 2300 pounds.
That is impossible since I only disposed of carpet and padding.
They expect that customers just roll over and accept the charges.
Warning to all, avoid dealing with brokers like that who contract out haulers.

We booked a dumpster with Affordable Dumpster Rental on 8/8 and paid $388 upfront. From start to finish, the experience was frustrating and unprofessional.

Delivery Issues: The dumpster was dropped on 8/19 with no specific delivery time window (8am–6pm). When it arrived at 1:20pm, hubby was in bathroom. Came out and saw it was placed so close to our rock retaining wall that the door could not be opened. A photo was taken and sent immediately. Per neighbor, the driver left delivery truck, saw the issue and left anyway.

Communication Failures: From 1:32pm onward, we made multiple calls and sent texts to the local number, but only reached an answering machine. We finally reached sales, who filed a service ticket. Corporate called us back later, confirmed the issue, and promised someone would come to correct the placement. They said it might take several business days and assured us that our rental time would not begin until the dumpster was moved.

Broken Promises: Despite this assurance, no one ever came to fix the placement. We took time off work that week specifically to use the dumpster, but ended up having to throw items over the side. Calls made on 8/24, 8/25, and 8/28 to both local and corporate numbers went unanswered or unreturned.

No Resolution: As of 9/17, nearly a month later, we have had zero communication, no correction, and no refund on our original charge.

This company failed to provide the service we paid for, did not follow through on promises, and completely ignored all follow-up. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Affordable Dumpster Rental to anyone.

This company uses deceptive practices…they give a competitive price for a 30 yd dumpster and only allow 3000lbs which is unrealistic…most honest companies allow 6-8 thousand lbs….so when they picked up the dumpster they emailed me a day later and said it was over the allotted weight and they would be charging my card an additional amount of over 200.00 …scammmers …signed unhappy former customer!

Scam company. The man on the phone said my fence would not exceed the weight limit. I put less in and they charged me over a hundred for an overload 2 weeks after. I had to esign papers. Tons of pages and the man said it'd be fine. After 2 weeks they charged my card per their 16 page contract of it being overweight. I received an email stating not to call but reply by text or email.

Awful service, did not make delivery on delivery date, they will not tell you an expected time of delivery. You can not get ahold of anyone unless are trying to place an order. They charged me 350 one day and another 300 today and still have not delivered dumpster. They are not transparent about anything. Do not trust them.

Don’t waste your time. Rented two dumpsters for construction, no one mentioned the 3,000 pound weight restriction, received my contract address was all incorrect. Got charged for cancelling dumpster delivery a week in advance, attempted to contact customer service what a joke I got sent to voicemail every single time and then receive a text to complete a complaint online. Then they “call you back” but I never received a call only voicemails every time. If you don’t want to deal with complete nonsense and horrible customer service save yourself the stress, pay a little more up front, and be a hell of alot happier in the end!

I have observed an additional charge of $115.20 on my account. After thoroughly reviewing the contract, I must formally contest your business practices. Despite assurances that the weight limit was not an issue, I was misled. Based on the information I provided and the assurances given, I was led to believe there were no concerns. I suspect dishonesty, and given the lack of recourse to challenge or prove any misconduct, I feel powerless. However, I refuse to accept this situation. I will not utilize your services again and will advise others to seek reputable companies elsewhere. Your organization will be cited as an example of poor business practice. 

I read a lot of good reviews on ADR and decided to go with them. However, I was severely disappointed. I had scheduled a 30 yard dumpster for a Monday delivery, and had people lined up ready to work. Well, the dumpster never showed up. By mid-afternoon, I started calling their office to find out what was going on. Got nothing but voice mail. Left three or four voice mail messages. I also went to their website and left several text messages there. But, no one returned my calls/messages.

I did get a bit suspicious when I received an email early Monday morning asking me to review my rental now that it was complete (it hadn't even started). But, I blew it off thinking it was a minor glitch. Turns out it was an indicator that they had royally screwed up my order.

I finally received a call from them at mid-day on Tuesday. They told me they were sorry about the non-delivery and that they were now out of the 30 yard dumpsters. They offered me a 20 yard dumpster that they could deliver on Thursday. And, they only offered to refund me $10 for the difference in cost between the two, despite the huge inconvenience they caused me. I told them to forget that and cancelled the order.

Maybe they're ok if everything goes accordingly to plan. But, if things go sideways, I rate them a big fat ZERO for responsiveness and customer service.

I booked a dumpster with Affordable Dumpster Rentals and was clearly told during a recorded call that delivery would be by Monday (8/4/25), or latest Tuesday (8/5/25). I agreed, specifying I could not accept delivery any later. No dumpster arrived by the promised date, and no communication was provided to inform me of delays or rescheduling.

On 8/5, the latest agreed date, I called to inquire. An AI agent answered but offered no delivery info (same thing on (8/6/25). That evening, I left a voicemail canceling the order due to non-performance. I also submitted a cancellation request via their website and emailed them. I have not received a single response. I called six more times on 8/6 and encountered the same pattern each time: the system counts down callers ahead of me and sends me to voicemail, which they never return. They only appear to answer calls for new customers, not existing ones. I selected the new customer option and shocker, they answered that line.

Their contract threatens cancellation fees, but they failed to perform and did not deliver as promised. I am attempting to receive written confirmation of cancellation and will not accept delivery or any charges. Based on numerous reviews, this appears to be a pattern, missed deliveries, poor communication, and deceptive attempts to collect cancellation fees after failing to perform. Most people booking a dumpster need it by a specific date, there is no clarity or communication once you book, after being told you will receive it by X date.

Online scammers. Shady operation. Bills you for quoted price, then bills your card a month later for an additional $95 hidden fee. Then when you call, they route your call to dead end voicemails that are never returned, which is typical online scammers practice. DO NOT give them your debit card number. You have been warned.

Complete scam. They charged about $300 more stating we dumped 6000lbs which isn't even possible. The dumpster was about 2/3 full of light weight trash from a shed. No construction or heavy debris. Showed a dump receipt that was timed before they even picked the dumpster up from our house. Do NOT trust this company

My sense here is that this company brokers deals and likely does not have its own supply. My best guess is that they are in business to provide duympsters through company's like Arrow (Arrow and its number were on our dumpster). In any event, I have never been overweight before and I have had heavier loads before this, so I am betting the company charges folks as much as they can under the guise of being overweight. They get your business with a cheap cost quote but they will get you on the other end. I will never use the company again, and will instead use Arrow or someone else. I am now going to give this group a bad review on google.

Ordered a roll off dumpster on Tuesday for Wednesday. They said it could be here at my house anytime between 6 AM and 6 PM after about 12 o’clock. We called to see if there would be an ETA of arrival. We were told that the driver arrived at our house at 6:30 and did not drop off because there was a car in the driveway. He also said that he rang the doorbell and knocked on the door with no answer granted me and my wife were home waiting all day For that driver‘s arrival we went and checked our video cameras from 6 o’clock to 730 and no one arrived at our house. Our dogs didn’t bark as they usually would do if someone knocked on our door as the day went on we found it harder and harder to reach The company so at 4:30 I made a call again and after being on hold for about 15 to 20 minutes a representative did answer we stated our complaints and they assured us that the rolloff dumpster would arrive. I told the company representative if it hadn’t arrived by 5 o’clock I would call my credit card company and dispute the charges so consider it canceled if it’s not here by five. 5 o’clock came and went it is now 630 and there was no arrival of a rolloff dumpster. I did call my credit card company and they automatically disputed it and gave me my money back and said they would look into it. I called SoCo dumpsters and they will have one at my house in the morning. Do not give this business the time or day, even though it shows a family on their Internet ad go with the big-time company let their family starve.

Failed to deliver to scheduled date, pushed it out the next few days after, and indicated that in the contract there is no guarantee deliver date and nothing will be done for customer satisfaction.
