We bought a 26x10 foot garden room from this company, first issue on day of install, turned up with completely wrong size of front panel, the company is based in Worcester and had travelled to us in Scotland, waited one week to have this replaced, had to contact them to ask when they were coming back, poor communication.
Once the building was completed it was noted the floorboards were damp and water was getting in around the edges when raining, advised should have been treated ( by us) with a water sealant, would have been good to have been told this at the point of installation.
Several other issues have arisen, door not closing, floorboards coming up/moving as they have not been hammered down into joists underneath.
We have communicated with this company voicing our concerns, mentioned contacting trading standards for advice and a plan was in place to have this resolved by the owner John who agreed this was not good enough and he apologised. On the day they were supposed to come to sort the issues they cancelled as they made a mistake and would be nowhere near us that day. They were elsewhere in Scotland (2 hours from us)
One month passed with no communication, text messages ignored, contacted them by phone and was advised they are no longer coming to sort any of the issues due to being “threatened with trading standards” and they are now “scared to come”
Also worth mentioning we have a warranty so I’m guessing this warranty is now nil and void if they are not even going to come and resolve the initial problems. Trading standards and consumer advice Scotland have been informed about this company.
Also known as Affordable garden buildings, Affordable Garden Buildings UK and Affordable garden buildings Worcester.
Avoid at all cost as once they have your money they are not interested in sorting anything,
