Title: Deceptive, Unethical and Racist A Deeply Shady Operation

Review:
I booked a 2 PM appointment via WhatsApp and confirmed it with screenshots as proof. I traveled in a 500 SEK taxi ride, because they insisted on a same day buyout.

Arrived at Järntorget 78 to find no storefront, just a hidden entrance next to a dirty, foul smelling utility room. This was my first warning of their misleading and unprofessional operation.

I stood outside in the freezing cold from 2:00 PM. Despite calling every number they listed, no one answered by 2:15, 2:20, or even 2:30. Their unreliable and disrespectful behavior left me stranded.

Once finally let inside, the woman who managed the WhatsApp and arranged the appointment immediately used deceptive and disingenuous tactics. She backed out of our agreed Swish/cash buyout and demanded I leave my high value luxury designer bag for days of inspection. I refused to leave such a valuable item in such an unprofessional environment. When I stood my ground, she became aggressive and abusive, saying she could see why I got divorced and hurling racial slurs. It was an unethical and unacceptable response.

After this horrible experience, I took the bag to a well known Pantbank. They appraised it in 10 minutes, offered me 10,000 SEK (2,000 more than these unprofessional people), and paid via Swish in seconds. That a pawn shop can be more professional, transparent, and respectful than this so called luxury reseller says everything.

This business uses dishonest and misleading practices, wastes clients time and money, and resorts to racist personal attacks. Avoid at all costs. They are untrustworthy, disrespectful of clients time, and operate from a hidden, unprofessional space.

Principally, the processing of my order went fine. As stated on the Affordable Luxury online shop's website, I registered the return of the bag in advance. Unfortunately, they could not create a shipping label for the return for some reason - I had to bear the costs myself (which is generally okay). But they took a very long time to process my return. According to the legal basis of the entire EU, the shop must initiate a refund within the legally stipulated 14 days. After 16 days, there was still no money returned to my account, and I was met with tired excuses. I threatened to take legal action - and there you go. The money was transferred the next day.

The shop charges a processing fee for the return (in my case nearly 54,-) AND does not refund you (although they are legally obligated) the shipping costs to your destination. It gets even better: they charge you for shipping a SECOND time even though shipping only occurred once. They justify this with their return policy. So I have paid shipping costs THREE times in total and a processing fee. A total cost of more than 115,- that I will never see again - a high price for a lesson.
