I love the pendant lights they look…

I love the pendant lights they look stunning in my kitchen. The only problem was the delivery. The website mentioned that it is a UK-based company, but in reality, the lights were shipped from Morocco. They told me my lights would be delivered in 2 working days, but it actually took 3 weeks for them to arrive. Other than that, they are beautiful and of good quality.

Painful shipping experience

I ordered the "Oxidized Pendant Light Brass Lampshade". The quality of the shade is good, and that is what makes this review 2 stars instead of 1 star. The fitting that attaches to the ceiling had a large scratch in the paintwork, but it is not too visible from afar.

The shipping experience was very painful. The website suggests that it is a UK-based company. While it is registered in the UK, it is actually based in Morocco. I ordered the item on the 27th of March, it arrived on the 7th of May. The company said the delay was due to a "1 week national holiday", which is fine, but does not explain the entire month delay. The company's website states that standard orders get shipped the next day. It was not shipped until the 29th of April. They then sent me the tracking number for a different customer: bit of a data privacy issue, no?! I don't understand how it took them an entire month to send the product, I don't really care that it took a week to arrive from Morocco.

Afoscraft: if you are going to observe a week long national holiday, thats fine. But please communicate with your customers that this is the case, so we are not left in the dark when ordering with no updates. And please don't use one week as an excuse to delay shipping by an entire month. And please make it clearer on your website that orders are not shipped from the UK.
