I ordered a painting on March 4, 2026. On March 27th, I contacted the company via email to find out if my order had been shipped. I got an email saying my request for information would be answered in 24 hours. That same day the company cancelled my order without notification or explanation. I sent another email to ask why the cancellation and their response was that the painting I ordered was actually 4 times more expensive than what I had paid and they could not sell it to me at that price. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

This company is very slow to respond messages . 21 hours to get an email response, common ? The paintings are beautiful , but emails should be responded within the hour . I also work in e-commerce and there is no excuse for such low response time.

I ordered 5 DIY paint by number sets. They kept me busy for 2 weeks. Its very unfortunate , I cannot share here the paintings I made with the paint by numbers.

The "painting" I received does even rate as a 1st year high school art student. The basic color scheme doesn't match the shown image. Mine is mostly yellow instead of the rich blue and purple in the image. Additionally, instead of the fine lines of the foreground tree and distance spots of lights, they are large distracting smudges.
If you just need something to hang, well ok. If you want something good, go to your local art college and buy one of their cheap studio pieces, then it will be artistically balanced with pleasing colors and fine work. All for the same piece while helping a local artist.

Not bad paintings for the sold price. I think its quite affordable for what it is . The shipping took a little too long. But overall not bad at all

My experience with afremov has been very pleasant so far. I ordered 5 paintings during the last 2 years. Two of them as gifts. All of them look very good. I have a recommendation for the buyers. Do not forget to add frame or stretching. I did not know about this and my first order came rolled inside a cylinder tube.

Love the art by Leonid Afremov. I have 3 paintings in by home. All my friends always cheer me on them. I’m not an art fan , but these paintings look pretty straight forward for any home.

The customer service team is quick and friendly, the product is fantastic and I am content with my purchase.

Artwork was promoted extremely deceptively. Website cites listing "oil paintings by Leonid Afremov". They are in fact reproductions from art students. Which is apparently buried in some fine print. With fake "sales" and deals. This was fraudulent as far as I am concerned.

This is a SCAM. A TOTAL RIPOFF! BEWARE!

I wanted a backpack that stood out for the new semester, and this one is perfect. I got the “When Dreams Come True” design, and it looks amazing. The quality and stitching are excellent, and the $99 price with shipping feels totally fair. Can’t wait to use it.

I wanted a custom painting for a picture I took on my trips, they did a wonderful job, it took a little longer but they sent pictures and I was able to change some things and they keep doing changes until I was completely satisfied with the result. They were very profesional and I love the painting, I would order another custom painting in the future.

I just received my order and I’m very surprised by the quality, it’s beautiful and it was worth the wait.

The painting I received originally was not up to my expectations. I did leave a less positive initial review due to the quality of the painting I ordered.

However, I really appreciate the level of effort in correcting this mistake. I am happy with the support I received from the team. I did not ask for a refund as I really wanted to be able to love the painting I ordered. Leonid Afremov's work is very beautiful and I wanted to be happy and proud that I have a share of it. Boris ensured we arrived at that outcome in the end.
I am now able to say I am happy to put this painting on the wall and enjoy it forever.

I have paintings that are supposedly originals that I bought years ago, and also a copy authorized by the company. They look great, and even the copy looks pretty good. Not as good as the "originals", but not bad. I recently ordered what afremov.com advertised as actual originals. I received 2 paintings that looked like they were done by a 3rd grader, along with "certificates of authenticity" that were a joke. Paint was still wet! I contacted them, and was asked to send pics. I did. Then I got an email saying "Oh, you got the wrong thing by mistake." ????? They said they would send the real deal. After waiting, I was told "you will get them by this date....." Never got them. STAY AWAY! This is now a total scam. Not from some odd web site - but from afremov.com, with address in Mexico (where they are actually based). They should be ashamed for dishonoring the artist and his work.

They responded to Trustpilot, which requested more info.

Your reply to Trustpilot says:
All paintings sold as originals on our site are 100% hand-painted with oils on canvas, created based on Leonid’s original techniques, and shipped stretched and ready to hang or rolled sends on your ordere (YOUR misspelling and poor grammar).

"BASED ON". Notice the original email states they are 100% hand-painted by Leonid, and signed by him". No "BASED ON" garbage as you now try to say.
I have ALL original emails I can forward to you, or to Trustpilot. Just give me an email address, and I can send them all.

Are you trying to tell us all now, that there is an EXACT duplicate of your site? That does not happen. There cannot be two "afremov.com" sites.
Websites cannot have the exact same "web address" or domain name. While a domain name and IP address can be associated, they are distinct. Domain names, like "example.com", are registered and managed by a central system to ensure uniqueness. Two different sites cannot have the same domain name because it would lead to conflicts in how the internet routes traffic.

I am calling you a liar, still trying to pretend you know nothing about this.

So don't talk to me about "carefully reading descriptions" on your site or other such nonsense.
You FLAT-OUT stated these were painted by Leonid Afremov. ORIGINALS. Not copies. Not "reproductions". So quit lying.

You stated on your latest reply:
"Once a chargeback is filed, we are unable to proceed with resending items under PayPal’s policy."
Then explain why you lied and said in email 4/8/2025:
"I am sorry
The wrong painting was delivered
Today I will send you the correct one"
TODAY. April 8th! You said.

Then, on April 9th, you emailed:
"We going to ship correct paintings today
No need to return copies"
Of course no need, because you knew they were GARBAGE!

Then, on April 21st, you emailed again saying "The order will be delivered by April 23"
HOW were you going to get the order to me in TWO days, if it had not already been shipped???
More lies, and you knew it. You know it!

If yo want to sell paintings that are "reproductions", or "based on", or whatever - that would be fine.
But you are stating they are originals:

FLAT-OUT LIES!!! And you know it. You are deliberately ripping people off, and it needs to stop.

You did NOT try to "resolve the matter in good faith". You just decided to not ship anything, and hoped I'd just forget it when I found out you had NOT shipped anything, even though you repeatedly said you HAD done so (NOT "were going to....")

Living in a remote part of Canada, snowy days often keep me stuck indoors and it can get pretty lonely. One day, feeling a bit blue, I saw an ad on Facebook featuring colorful paintings. A painting of a sailing boat immediately caught my eye; it felt so warm and full of life. I ordered it, and ten days later, it arrived. I hung it above the chimney as a reminder that true warmth comes from the heart and that winter never lasts forever.

I ordered 2 paintings as a gifts. My friends loved the paintings. The gift was very special . The delivery took less than one week to Australia which is very good .

My experience as not bad but it was also not wow. My order took almost 3 weeks to be delivered with the free shipping option. Their customer service took longer than 10 hours to respond to each email I sent.

I loved the painting I have received . However, the delivery took almost 3 weeks to the UK. The delivery company never contacted me. The package was simply thrown at my porch.
