Avoid this company - another online only removals company that cannot deliver what is promised or paid for!

They sent the removals team on the wrong day - which I only found out as a man who could barely speak English stated he couldn't find my house! I then had multiple phone calls with the company as they said I had the wrong day at my end! This was only resolved when I re-sent them their own quote which clearly stated the date the removal was scheduled for.

This was then followed up by multiple phone calls stating all sorts of potential issues that could stop the move taking place - which I had been very clear about when asking for a quote which they clearly hadn't accounted for.

They are now refusing to refund the deposit - which comes as no massive surprise if they cant even turn up on the right day.

Lost all confidence in the company and called to cancel the move and requested the deposit is refunded as no costs had been incurred.

The generic response back does make me laugh couldn’t have made it clearer to the team the potential access issues and the company have completely declined to refund my deposit.

Sorted me out last minute when the man with van I had originally booked didn’t show up. Very communicative, good price, very fast turnaround, nice driver and great service all round! Really helped me out thank you AFS removals! Will use them again.

We paid for a dismantling, packing and moving to a home less than 10 miles away from each other. We were allocated 2 moving teams and trucks, and unfortunately one of the trucks broke down and the 2nd team never arrived.

The single team and truck had very little packing materials, no screwdrivers for dismantling, and one drill with 2 bits.

The team took over 3 days to finish packing (this was supposed to be a 2 day job), and the 2nd truck and team never arrived. Furniture was not properly dismantled, which we noticed on the second day when a large cupboard was half taken apart and carried into the truck. It broke in many places, so I had to return with my cousin to properly dismantle furniture which took most of the 2nd night. We experienced a bunch of different things, from furniture not being covered or secured when in transit, to the team losing screws from furniture dismantling to a set of house keys being lost and found eventually down the street.

We went through an insurance claim to replace broken and scratched furniture, and have not heard back from them since. There has been so much churn of employees, that no one can even give me a reference number for the insurance claim.

They seem to have blocked my phone number and do not reply to emails.

I would avoid this company.

I have just used AFS Removals for the sixth time for an international move, and the service just seems to get better and better. I'm getting on in years and was very daunted at yet another move, but the service I received from both the office in London and the Birmingham warehouse was superb in every way.

John in London was so friendly, knowledgeable and reassuring. He thought of every detail, and the speed of his response to the zillions of annoying questions I had was out of this world.

Well done, AFS Removals, and well done, JohnI would definitely use AFS Removals again.

The whole experience was fantastic. I was contacted shortly after requesting a quote and had confirmed all the details of the move within an hour. The team who completed the removal were friendly and efficient, handling everything with care and making sure it ended up in the right place. Communication throughout the process was excellent. I was very stressed about the move but in the end I had nothing to worry about! Thank you to the whole AFS team. I’d highly recommend them to anyone.

I had a last-minute emergency removal in the evening and the team here were super helpful and flexible. My driver was Rahib and he was prompt, friendly and brilliant. Highly recommend, thank you for your help!

I can’t tell you how amazing the men were today. They had a very hard removal from the top floor of a house with limited space. Nothing was to much trouble for them it was hard work but they never stopped. I would highly recommend this company to anyone thank you so much for today!!!!

The 2 guys today went above and beyond today. Despite the appalling weather nothing was to much trouble for them. Highly recommend.

Fast, Helpful, & Efficient.

Easy to deal with. Booking was straightforward and AFS confirmed a few days before. The team turned up on time and were friendly and efficient. They packed up, drove to the delivery address and unpacked again, all with no drama or fuss. They made sure to place boxes where I needed them.

All in all, I can highly recommend.

AFS Removals provided us "Professional and courteous”from start to finish. The booking manager, Ammar organised the move very well. He made sure from the beginning, everything went smoothly. Steve, Sam and Nick came one day before for packing services, they dismantled the furniture and packed everything promptly and professionally. On the moving day, 5 men team came early with 2 Lorries. They loaded and packed all stuff with special care. It took about 4 hour to pack both lorries. The destination is about 30 minutes away. At the time both lorries arrived, the completion done and we already hot the keys of new house. They unloaded all the belongings on the right rooms. They are not so cheap as we have some other quotes. But the services, they provided are 10/10. I couldn't have asked for a better service, I thoroughly recommend AFS Removals.

I was helping my mum move and she was nervous about it. The lads were fantastic with her. They didn’t rush her, they explained what they were doing, and even helped her carry a few personal items she wanted to keep with her in the car. It’s the little things like that that stick with you. The furniture was packed and unpacked carefully, and they stayed until the final cupboard was in place. I definitely recommend AFS Removals to family and friends for such a stress free experience.

We booked a pack & Move with AFS Removals and I can't recommend them highly enough. From the very start, Ammar made the process straightforward and he was thorough, polite, and attentive during the initial survey, ensuring we had all the information we needed.

On the moving day, Riz was excellent. He kept us well-informed, checking in before and after the move and answering any questions we had along the way. His communication was reassuring and made the process feel seamless.

Andy, Hassan, Nick and Yakoob were absolutely fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and they worked efficiently while treating both properties with great care and respect. Whenever we needed a bit of extra help, it was met with a friendly attitude and a quick. Thanks to their efforts, what could have been a stressful day turned out to be smooth and well-organised.

We had major delays on moving day and didn’t get our keys until nearly 4pm. AFS handled it all so well. The team stayed calm, kept us reassured, and worked quickly once we got access. They were professional, careful with our things, and incredibly fair with the cost despite the long wait. Truly top service – would 100% recommend.

Absolutely amazing team all the team were so pleasant helpful and genuinely attentive and removed the stressful process of moving. My experience with them was very good and fantastic job. I would highly recommended this company as they were really wonderful.

The whole process with AFS Removals was friendly and straightforward. The quote we received for the removal service from AFS was very competitive and they said that the removal could be done over 1 day rather than 2 days as other quotes had said. The crew arrived on time and familiarised themselves with the task in hand and set to work. They took care with our furniture and other belongings and were happy to discuss our requirements with us. They completed the loading of the van very quickly and said they would be at our new home by late afternoon. In the meantime we picked up the keys from the estate agent and when the crew arrived at our new address, they unloaded and moved all stuff at right places. They assembled our beds and wardrobe with special care. We are very pleased with the great services provided by AFS.
