Awful experience and we couldn’t get our money back in full

We did some renovations in our house and decided to have Tadelakt bathroom. We got a quote from this company and we decided to go ahead. We confirmed the job and made the half of the payment. They confirmed a date to start. Then they constantly found an excuse to postpone. First the builder hurt his finger, then he needed to look after his kid and then he squeezed another job in. After 3 weeks of struggle, we decided to cancel. He didn’t refund our money and tried to cut it. 3 months after cancellation, he still owes us 25% of the amount and now he ghosted us. This was really awful experience. They are not professional at all and they don’t respect their customers.
