An economical way to use your phone when you’re out of the country. To be honest, I have had a few problems when I arrive in the new country getting the new SIM card up and running. The instructions weren’t overly clear, but the last time I used this app, it worked perfectly!

Didn’t benefit from the top up
Hello Airalo Support,
I recently purchased a top-up (around USD 8.50), but unfortunately I was never able to use it.
I couldn’t identify which eSIM the top-up was linked to. I tried enabling all of the eSIMs on my iPhone one by one, and I also checked Settings > General > About to match the ICCID, but I couldn’t find the corresponding ICCID. The eSIM wasn’t deleted, but I was still unable to verify which one it was.
As a result, I never used any of the data from the top-up and didn’t benefit from the purchase at all.
I have now returned to Jordan, so I no longer need the UAE data at this time. If possible, I would really appreciate it if you could keep the top-up or credit on my account so I can use it during a future trip, rather than letting it go to waste.

To resolve the initial problem of installing ESIM by novice, chat staff were exceptionally patient and helpful in performing interrupted checks & resolutions. I would not hesitate in recommending Airalo for any ozzy headed OS.

Stops working all of a sudden and you need to buy a new eSIM even when the existing one is still loaded.

There is no Bot to talk to and which can tell me straight away if the ESIM is installed in my phone and fix the issues by getting me to send images of the Mobile/Cellular settings, like with Kolet in Europe

I had problems to join the internet at my destination Sri Lanka, but Airalo’s help desk was very helpful. Finally, it worked. I find it very strange that in order to get to the roaming button on my iphone 16, both the primary Sim and the new eSim must be active and also a wifi connection was needed. But this is not an Airalo problem
But once connected, the eSim is perfect!
