Poor customer relations

The shop is full of items past their best . Children's items seem dirty. Manager unhelpful and rude. Questionable hygiene practices in cafe.

The guys that came to collect my donations arrived on time. They were extremely polite and nothing was too much trouble for them, there was heaving lifting as most of my donations were furniture. Thank you for your fantastic service.

Greedy Charges

Yesterday lunch time, I arranged to meet a friend at the Somercotes Alfreton Air Ambulance cafe. We were both shocked when we were told it would be an extra 55p to have the soya milk put into the coffee! My friend needed this as a medical requirement. That is the first time we have ever come across such a charge. This is nothing short of being greedy. Charges for tea and coffee cost enough to begin with. If that wasn't enough whilst we sat eating and drinking there was a fly catcher machine close by with the terrible noise and cruelty of flies being fried to death. How cruel and unnecessary is that. We noticed several people including their staff appearing distressed by this terrible sound. We together with the rest of the public have always supported this charity. Where would they be without us and then they have the audacity to charge an extra 55p for a shot of soya milk in place of ordinary milk. This costs peanuts at close by stores. Disgraceful. They should be thoroughly ashamed.

Crooks that pray on the venerable. Do not give to them.

For a charity it is wrong to harass my 93 year old grandmother and 89 year old grandfather to try and extort them for an absurd amount of money. The person who was clearly a salesman in disguise then tried to get them to sign up for a payment plan. When I told him to leave he refused. When I threatened to escort him off the property and call the police he then left. I am very angry that a charity would allow his behaviour to go on. This doesn't seem to be a charity but a company that is exploiting the vulnerable and elderly.

From this experience I shall not give any money to them and would advise others not to.

Ignorant pilot

The air ambulance landed on our farm today Monday 13th May following a accident on the A40 duel carriageway in Whitchurch.
Access to the accident from the field is via locked gates.
I spoke to the pilot of the helicopter to see if they wanted me to unlock the gates inorder for them to transport any casualties to the helicopter.
I have never met such a rude ignorant person in all my life, he certainly wasn't employed for his personality.
I've always sponsored the air ambulance and feel it's a real shame that people employed and kept in employment by people's donations can't give the time of day to speak to people.

handling fee for donations

i cant say how disappointed I was to find a collection we had at a funeral has to be paid in through a third party who charges a transaction fee.
The air ambulance does a fantastic job however as a principal I will make sure in the future I will only name charities where I can make a direct contribution. surely this day and age they could have an account you could pay direct in to.

Warwickshire/NorthamptonshirebAir Ambulance appeal

I have received a mail shot today from Warwickshire/Northamptonshire Air Ambulance to donate £3 per month. I thought ok. That is a good charity so i'll do it. So I entered the web address on my web browser and got an error message "this page not available"but there is a button to donate. So I clicked the button and entered my details and elected to donate £3 per month and went through all the normal banking etc processes and enetred the information. The message came up immediately "Processing". That was about 10 minutes ago and the message is still there. DON'T YOU WANT MY MONEY.
